Dream interpretation?

I'm new to this forum in search of possibly some answers about these particular dreams iv'e been having for some time now. My dog passed away in March, and for the first few weeks I had normal dreams about him almost every night. (Normal as in he was still alive as if nothing had happened). I still dream about him all the time, but now in most of my dreams I either realize or say say something out-loud that implies I realize that he was dead and now he's back. Last night though, in my dream, he was there again, but this time I found out he could only stay a few days..which I didn't find out until the last day. Anyone have any insight? I know I miss my dog, that part is pretty obvious. Otherwise though, the vivid-ness of them is crazy, it's like I really just saw him.
