      Burning bush in Asia

This is probably the weirdest dream I've had in years and I suspect there may be a spiritual significance to it. I am not religious. I do believe there is some God, but I don't necessarily think it's Jesus.

The dream takes place in two kitchens. First, I am in a kitchen in my house were my dad is cooking, but he has the coronavirus and I keep trying to stay away from him, but he keeps trying to get closer to me. Eventually, I appear in a different kitchen. There is an Asian women cooking some chicken with what I think is a pineapple sauce. I see chunks of what looks like pineapple in it. I watch her for a while and I briefly helped her with something. While she stands in front of the pot, what looks like a hologram of a small pine tree appears behind the stove. It's a flat piece of plexiglass with a 3D looking pine tree on it. As she turns up the heat on the stove, the pine tree becomes like a fiber optic with orange and white shimmering out the ends of each needle. Eventually, certain parts of the tree look on fire, but the fire is virtual and looks like bad graphics on top of a real looking tree. It burns a while and doesn't consume the tree. The Asian women then gets sucked into another plastic layer that just appears in front of the pot. So she now looks like a similar projection to the tree and you can still see the tree behind her. She just kind of sits there with a slight smile and doesn't do anything. Her expression indicates that either she doesn't even know what just happened or doesn't care. I have no emotions or reaction to this during the dream.

That's about it. What do you make of this? To me it seems it has something to do with God, Asia, and the coronavirus. I was planning to go to southeast Asia right before the corona happened. The pineapple also suggests to me that it's SE Asia.

Your dad is trying to get close to you. You're trying to stay away from him because he is carrying a deadly disease. This may represent a part of yourself or something you are running from. Something you view as dangerous. A deep fear.

If it were my dream, I would be looking at the layers on the tree as a symbol for layers of yourself. The Asian woman may be your anima. In my dreams, cooking often represents a form of getting emotional needs met. And, the tree is an "evergreen" - a hardy tree that doesn't lose its leaves in the winter. Think reliability. Something not easily destroyed; eternal life.

      So-

The woman is cooking is cooking for you (meeting your emotional needs, is sweet (pineapple)), she turns up the heat (love relationship?) and your tree (base layer of self) starts glowing, as if it's on fire. Then, she is sucked in to your layered self. She is now being projected (this is what we do when we fall in love; we project our anima/animus onto other people).

Hope you find this helpful. I'm not an expert at this.

Intense energy in a dream is a sign of something a little bit more abnormal than the source of most dream themes and events. Describing this tree in such detail about the way energy was effecting it indicates to me that it comes from our collective conscious. Are you aware of what is happening in China and SE Asia? On top of the flooding and plague like conditions in China they have dammed off a river that feeds SE Asia. Leading SE Asia to a major drought. It could be an aspect of collective consciousness in your dreams or merely born of anxieties of the time.

When you look at your own dreams and the dreams of others you will often find that energies like the one you described are uncommon. In my own experience when I have visible energy in my dreams it is a major growth point for me spiritually. I learn something in the dream about myself.

Generally what you feel is the right interpretation is. Your expectations and biases create most of the dream.
