      Movie-Like Dream

I had a very strange dream last night. At first I was part of the dream, but later on in it I became a spectator. It became more and more like a movie as it went on, and it had references to some of my favorite movies and video games in it, for instance, one of the characters was gandalf from lotr. At the end of the dream, it ended with a suspenseful scene with the villain (who happened to be gandalf) pointing a gun at the other main character. Gandalf said some fancy lines, then the dream actually broke off into a TRAILER for a sequel to the story. I wonder if there will actually be another related dream. I wonder if my subconscious was putting on a show for me?

Dreaming about watching a movie may be about you watching life pass by. It is filled with fantasy from real movies too.

Yes, your 'subconscious' was putting on a show for you. But you need to think about it for a second or two. First, Gandalf was the Good Guy. If your Dream shows him to be against you and your interests, then that would make you the bad guy, wouldn't it? I think it is a serious problem when you have a Dream in which the Savior of Middle Earth is the 'villian' in your perspective. Gandalf can only be seen as the adversary if you happen to be on the Dark Side.

You know, it would not be that far fetched. Back in the middle of the 19th Century there was a Catholic Prophecy made by an Apparition of Our Lady (La Salette France 1847) in which we were told that in the next century people would entirely lose their moral bearings, childredn would lose their innocents, and people would have almost no inclination of the distinctions between right and wrong. You may have fallen victim to this, along with a great many others. We have only to look at Political Party Platforms and Voting Patterns. People voted for the Nazis. Nowadays Jews, once the victimes, now vote to commit genocide against the Palestinian owners of the land. Americans by a majority vote for a 'Moral Leadership' which is reductable to nothing better than greed and exploitation. Our Media Experts are chagrinned that Anti-Heroes can be just as popular role models as Heroes.

So, you could actually be very evil and not even really realize it... you might just think that everybody nowadays is like yourself, and so how could that be bad.

But I'll give you a hint... if in your dreams, Gandalf is out to get you, then you are Evil.

Take this as a Warning from your Mind to put aside the Games for a few months and begin to study some moral philosophy and attempt to get some perspective regarding your Moral Existence. Consider it Jedhi training.

That would make sense, but the words that Gandalf said did not match the character in the books and movies.

In the dream he just seemed like your generic villain. For instance, he growled his words in a menacing way instead of his character's usually calm articulation. Now that I think about it, Gandalf was completely out of character. But then again, I suppose it is in the eyes of the beholder. The orcs probaly thought Gandalf was the evil one..
