Visit From Dead Cat

When I was a boy I had a cat. My parents hated the thing. My dad dumped it. A few days later I was driving with my dad and he said that this was were he dumped the cat. Then a few seconds later I saw a dead cat in the road. I felt bad that I did not do more to convince my dad to take to keep the cat or at lease give it away. Later that night I had a dream that the same cat came in through my window, perched on my chest and said something like "Jootju". I woke up with a start. I dont know about the spelling but I wonder what jootju could mean. I was so creeped out.
