Interpretation Plz!

i had a dream when i was taking a nap. i just wanna know if it has a meaning. i met a girl i used to go to high school with and we went on a date. and i discovered that she was paralyzed. and we went to dinner and i saw some friends from work and what not . later we were driving in my car, and a lady was walking on the street and stoped right in front of me. i pushed on the break as hard as i could but the break didnt work very well it slowed down very slowly. but i didnt hit the women.

When one goes on a date within their dream, it often means acknowledgment of some hidden part of oneself. That you were on a date with someone who was paralyzed may have been a kind of transference--if you will allow the expression--that you feel uneasy about acknowledging said shadowed aspects. It goes without saying that if you had hit her, I would've assumed you'd recently been through a bad relationship or some other mental trauma and were in the process of shutting down emotionally. The fact that your dream entered a kind of "slow motion" state, however, indicates that while the changes occurring in your life should not be avoided, they are stressful. Sound about right?

I don't know; you tell me. Is there someone special you've had your eye on? Perhaps now is the time to act. ADDENDUM: I should point out that I really don't find dreams to be in any way preternatural; dreams only tell you what you already know.

hmm lol yeah i have had interest in someone lately. "that you feel uneasy about acknowledging said shadowed aspects." what does that mean? oh by the way the part where i almost hit someone that happened twice. onece with a women and the second time right afterwith another car. i almost rearended them. but didnt

Well, I simply mean that you aren't comfortable allowing something to surface. In this case, I'm going to go out on a limb and theorize that you are the shy type and/or worry about the possibility of rejection. You know, that horrible moment when you've handed someone your heart and they crush it into a wet, crimson, pulpy mess right in front of you (and possibly others). You know the one. At the risk of sounding mind-numbingly cliché, you simply have to take that chance. Love just works that way--or so I’ve been told. I really wouldn't know; I'm simply a cat. P.S. Sorry about all the edits; I'm something of a perfectionist when it comes to writing. I don't care much about sentence fragments and passive voice, but I do care about spelling and sentence structure.
