Thread: Infinity Holes

Sometimes, my dreams contain what I call "Infinity holes", and I was wondering if anyone else has experience these?

An "infinity hole" is usually an area in the dream that contains a dark hole, through which nothing can be seen. They can be found anywhere. I have encountered them in houses underneath the floor where the floorboards were broken, outside behind a wall in front of a house, etc.

Whilst a dark hole does not seem unusual, these holes induce a feeling of terror, fear and panic due to a realisation that anything that enters or falls into the inifinity hole is gone forever (almost like a mini black hole). I don't know where this realisation comes from, just that it's there.

Anyone encountered these or have any idea what they mean?

I've never encountered one whilst lucid, and I think even with lucidity I'd be hesitant to jump into one.
