Thread: New And A bit scared!

Hi and welcome to Dream Views.

That's some first post.
I hope it isn't an exact premonition. Maybe it's more of a warning to be careful in general. Sometimes dreams back hand us to attention by showing us something scary to get at point across. Maybe there is something big in your life heading toward you that you are blind to as of yet.

I don't know.
But if I were you I'd steer way clear of big trucks.

Seriously though, no need to worry. You hear of "premonitions" all the time, yes, but that's because we all have several dreams a night and its inevitable that reality will reflect a few of them, IMO. If you're really worried, just stay away from roads on the fifth day.

Death does not always mean death.

Death can also signify change, in 5 days something could happen that will change your life.

Death can signify something ending, maybe something will finish?

My marriage...maybe. Been pretty rocky lately. Really havent felt the desire to remain married. Huh theres a thought....thanks.

yea divorces usually end in death, thats totally normal

I had a dream I this past Monday morning that I was standing on a road, close to my house, and talking to a faceless man. He told me that I was going to die in 5 days. I asked him calmly "How?" 2 ways of looking at this. First - you have 4 more days to live. Second - you are a creature of free will and have no way of predicting the future.

There is some interesting imagery. The faceless man - who could he be for you? Some kind of significant person? The number 5 - there will be significance in this number. Perhaps relates to you age 5 or something from 5 days ago. Or anything else that suggests 5 in your life. The car in flames - when I dream of cars I tend to believe they represent my freedom in life. This may or may not be the same for you.

Well I do believe in premonitions. yet I also do feel its always best to rule out other possible meanings.

But really even if this is a premonition then its not likely to be so literal. Dying could signify a moment when you feel unable to cope.That you have given up on some task.

Also quotes are important.

"You cant change it".

Think about this quote. Think about the day before. Think laterally. What does this dream make you think of.

Hi All thank you for your input!! Here is an update...I had the dream on Monday Morning today is saturday so this would be the fifth day. In my dream I was standing on a corner near my home, and was looking at my car a bit up the road from where me and this gentelman were standing. With that being said my father in law called this morning about 10:00 to let us know that there was a fatal car accident on that particular road. He heard the call come in on his scanner(Hes the fire cheif). He was aware of my dream, and was worried sick that it was me. Usually that would have been about the time I would have been on that particular road , its the only main road around here. We live up on a mesa...but I chose to stay put today. Coincidence??

Wow, that's a pretty fantastic story. I'd like to think that it's not a coincidence. It's great to hear that you're okay.
