Thread: Please help. First time here. HELP ME with my reocuring dream!!!! PLEASE!!

First of all, calm down. You've posted in quite a few sections haven't you? Second, I'll try to give you some advice on the matter. Do you try to find him? I think your dream is trying to tell you something. If you can try, try and find him, and have a long talk about it. I think once you and him meet (if possible), one or two of you will brake up in tears and that is why the dreams are always so sad.

It may seem hard, but deep down, I don't think you're forgetting. Either that, or you haven't cleared it up. The information on what is happening is stuck in your head and it's stressing at you to do something.

So, my recommendation of self help would be to try and find him so you two can talk. And talk to your friends, that's what friends are for, to help you and make you feel happy. Talk to them, and if you can, your family could give you some help too.

I have been having this dream for about two years now. I dream I go to my ex-husbands house and he is crying. His girlfriend is going to be home soon and I try to help him by cleaning his house, cooking for him etc. The dream usually ends with me and him hugging and crying. I tell him I can help him and he tells me there is no help. The dreams are so real that now when I have them he already knows I am coming and we both know that I am dreaming. This has been going on for about two years now. When the dreams start...they last for about a month, go away then come again after a few months. These dreams are so real. Last night in the dream we even talked about how glad we were to "meet" in our dreams!!!! I KNOW that is NOT possible so what is going on!!! I loved him more than the air I breathe but thought I was over it. AM over it. This is freaking me out because they are becoming more real and I know I am NOT crazy. He has a girl friend and I am remarried and haven't talked to him in 5 years! What is going on? Has this ever happened to anyone else???? Help!!!

I think you should look at whats going on in your life at the times these dreams start again, maybe theres a link there? maybe its when things arent going so great in your new marriage you start to question why you left your first one,and it reflects on your dream life. I think you must also remember that you split up for a reason, wether you ended it or he did makes no difference, something was obviously not right for at least one of you. I personally would recommend against meeting up with him, If you think theres any chance that your still even a tiny bit in love with him you, him and both of your new partners stand to get hurt and from what you said you have both moved on, physically at least, There isnt a cure for reoccuring dreams all you can do is try and find any reason at all you might have them, and work on learning to accept the reasons for what they are.
