Most Interesting Dream I had - Interpretation please?

The dream, I had it on the 11th of October of 2008. It goes like this: I was being thrown out of a classroom/building where a class went on. Many people I have known throughout my life in school were there. The benches were arched up against the wall. It was dark inside. It was lit, I believe, by candles. It was mysterious. Most everyone there was mad at me. The room was gigantic, and I felt comfortable and happy in it. They wanted me out, and slowly the atmosphere grew more unpleasant. The teacher ordered me out. I was being gotten rid of for perceived insanity. A school boy spoke to defend me. I walked out in righteous anger saying: "See, [ ] just defended me, and he's a genius!" I stormed out. As I left the room, I entered bright halls of spectacular beauty. Yellow light gleaming like a tempting, warm, peaceful symbol about me flooded my soul. I felt unsure if I should feel guilty, or justified for being angry. The halls stretched up high to ceilings above me. The floor was decorated by gleaming, awesome tiles of white, polished rock. The floor was slippery below me. All about me were happy, busy people talking to each other on coaches that lined each side of my path. I passed a fat man in a red sweater that sat on a coach nearby. He was bearded, and wore ugly glasses. He spoke with an attractive female co-worker. I felt shame rush through me like animal as I solidly stepped by these happy people. I went outside the building. It looked just like the Lincoln memorial. I walked over to a bench nearby. Sitting there was a kind, red faced, bearded man with a red sweater, and ugly, round glasses. He comforted me. My mother showed up, and I knew that she must have some connection to the red-man. -I wake-

It could mean that you are having some kind of problem, and you are coming to realize that standing up to it will be your best answer, and that you will have help along the way? By the way, it seems to me the man in the red sweater is a lot like Santa Claus.

i'm no expert but here ya go: you have sat long enough in doing nothing. you have been in passivity long enough and it's time for you to make a change in your life. you have to overstep your fears and do whatever it is that you have wanted to do for a very long time. those people there were signifying your fears, they weren't really those people. but you know that you could be so much more happy so you can't let your fear of failure hold you back. your mother being there represented the rightness of what you have done - comfort and the bearded dude? no idea. except to say maybe that unknown people will come to help you. let me know if this sounds accurate please.

By the way, it seems to me the man in the red sweater is a lot like Santa Claus. It's weird you mention it, because I now remember the man represented Santa Clause. No kidding! Haha!

Did you get bad Christmas presents or have a bad Christmas? Could be why he was there; Saying it's alright, it doesn't matter. I also agree with NewPersonHer.

The beginning is obvious, you're thinking your own way instead of everyone elses' way.

Inspirer, I know your avatar is supposed to be one of those things where you look at it and then your vision gets wavy, but also if you look from an angle (I was sitting to the side a bit which is how I noticed it) at the center it looks like the outside is shrinking. It's SOOOO f'in weird lol, I didn't realise it was an illusion for about 20 seconds.

It's SOOOO f'in weird lol, I didn't realise it was an illusion for about 20 seconds. I'm glad you like it. A few years ago I was VERY active here with it and no one ever commented on it before. It IS a trippy thing to stare into and goes better with "Inspirer" than anything else I could ever find.
