Dream: Indian Dancer with Song; March 27, 2009 naptime

I had this dream a few months ago, and loved it, but really don't understand it. It was a pleasant dream though! I woke up feeling great, and the music stayed with me for quite awhile. Any ideas?

Dream: Indian Dancer with Song; March 27, 2009 naptime

I had apparently realized I was late for my job at the library, but then realized that they would have called someone else by now, so I shouldn't worry about it. I might have called and apologized, given a reason, not sure if I remember doing it or just thinking about it.

I went outside onto a covered patio, expecting some people, and started making grilled cheese sandwiches, not ordinary ones, but ones made of thick slabs of jalapeno pepper cheese on thick white homemade bread slices with real butter. I was grilling them on a grill that left lines in the bread, and they were toasted and beautiful. A Native American man came up on the patio and joined me. He wasn't anyone I'd ever seen before either in a dream or awake, but I felt as if he knew me... not so much as if I knew him... but as if he knew me. I was happy having him there. I liked him. But I also felt shy with him. He was very handsome and very tall. He wore his hair long and loose except for a braid down one side that kept his front hair out of his face, and was wearing dance regalia. I kept sneaking glances at him as I worked on fixing the meal.

I think others were expected too. I was making a lot of sandwiches! I looked down a long dusty road once, and saw my ex-husband standing alone at the other end. I turned away, went back to the patio and my cooking.

The Indian began to dance and play music on some instruments. I don't remember exactly what instruments. A flute I think, maybe a harmonica. He sang some of the time to. I wondered if I should bring out my drums and guitar for him, but didn't quite get to that, as he broke into the most beautiful haunting song, one that I'd heard before, but not sung the way he sang it. It was beautiful, a story about Native Americans of some kind, and when he'd stop between verses to take a breath, I'd hear an echo of his music, made by others, coming from behind a wall behind me, which just served to add to the sense of haunting music. It was so beautiful, and the song went on and on, and he danced, and I cooked, and I was sorry to wake up! EOD

A spiritual man is going to appear in your life, which is what you want. This feeling of him knowing you is going to be sign. Your husband is in the past, alone. Oh, well. Not your problem now.

The spirits will echo the sound of his soul singing.

The cooking is your way of showing love, and his music is his way of showing love.
