A recent dream

2 weeks ago, my best friend passed away from cancer diagnosed August 7th. We were friends for 15 years and a big influence in my life. A few days back, I had this bizzare dream which hasn't left me. I was in some building with mirrored elevators, as I was going to the top, I could see my friend in the next elevator and saw what he was wearing. As I was leaving the building, a women enters the scene and hands me a wash cloth and says 'you'll need this'. The building was like an ultra modern hi-rise. According to those, the fact that I was going in the 'up' direction was a good sign. Ideas?? The fact that it is still with me days later is interesting.

I think that "going up" signifies that you are recovering from the loss of your friend.

Thank you, that could be. It really hit me hard as I wasn't expecting this. I must admit, I've done better than expected. It will be interesting to see if I have any more dreams like this.

That must've been sad, after you woke up. I have had similar experiences before. I've moved here 3 years ago, and once in a blue moon will have dreams about my old friends. It makes me so sad. One of my dreams, I had a dream about a friend, so I called her later that day , and the rest is history. I don't talk to her anymore. Sorry if you think this is rude for my posting this. And, as far as your dream goes, I have no idea.

OMG, really? Only 2 weeks and you could already be recovering? It's been 3 YEARS since I've moved, and I still think about my old friends, and on occasion miss them. I suppose that I am over it, but it still makes me a little sad. Again, sorry if you think this is rude to post.
