Now the REM song is stuck in my head.
Anyway. Wow, that's an intense dream. Never-ending acid rain, end of the world. When I think about it, something like acid rain makes me feel like I am being oppressed by something which I feel there is no escape from.
Normally when I have end of the world dreams, it's one of two things: either I'm extremely stressed out or anxious about something (especially something looming in the future like exams) or there is a huge change going on or coming up in my life (death can often represent a big change).
The horses are interesting, too. You saw another person getting in their way, warned her, but she was crushed anyway. It's too bad you woke up right after that because I'm really curious about what your feelings would have been. Like, would you have felt guilty that she still got hurt? Or would you have known you did what you could and accepted it? Or something else entirely?
The biggest factor when it comes to helping understand your dreams is how you were feeling during the dream. Also, you are the most qualified person to interpret your own dream--so if I'm completely off or any of this feels wrong in your gut, always listen to your own instincts.
