Arrow Death as a recurring theme.. thoughts?

I've never actually died in a dream, but it seems like every dream I'm able to recall includes me witnessing or hearing about death.
It's kind of spooky actually- the amount of times death has shown up in my dreams.

I hate to be one of the "what's it mean!!!" type of people.. and I'm certainly not expecting a literal interpretation, but some thoughts and opinions would be nice.
It makes for some depressing dreams.

It is most likely because that is what you are most afraid of death. Your dream projects death around you but that is the most obvious answer it could possibly go deeper than that... learning to control your dreams might help it though.

Yes, often enough one's dreamworlds throw the most unpleasant things in one's face. I suppose the wise thing to do here would indeed be to acquaint yourself with the themes presented. Doing so in your waking life usually resolves a lot on the dream plane.

I suggest listening to Alan Watts, his thoughts on life and death, among other things, are always fascinating to listen to.

Relax, think along and your dreams will probably give you a break They're here to help, after all

There's nothing to bother with imo, Death is a recurring theme in my dreams and it's mainly MY death. Sometimes it's painfull, sometimes it's scary, but each times it happens it makes me think about how much I love life and that I don't want to die right now! Sometimes depressing dreams just helps you to enjoy life more, actually I think it's better than joyfull dream and you wake up with nothing but the harsh reality.

Also if it really shows often in your dreams, try to change it into a dreamsign so each time you'll die or are on the verge of death you'll become lucid! I did and it worked I had 2 lucids with that I think, maybe more. But I haven't dreamed about death since quite a while. I hope it helps you.
      Remember,
The closer you get to the Light...
      The greater your Shadow becomes

Well the concept of death is sometimes said to be archetypal. So just because we dream of a person dying, our unconscious thoughts may have started simply with an idea of ending, which then becomes death in the dream.

The ending theme could be triggered by life changes - perhaps some things in your life are undergoing change just now?

But it doesn't have to be depressing IRL. The cycle is death-rebirth, a general feature of our changing lives. Maybe you're the sort of person who doesn't like to let go of familiarity?
