I am getting married (to myself?) Linda and I go to a movie as part of our celebration. There is a college crowd at the theater. It’s a Harrison Ford picture. In the movie part of the story is Ford facing prejudice from his bride and her family. There is a drum ritual that the women perform. Witchcraft?

I am riding a bike to work. Ron doesn’t care. I am ordering out for lunch but I’m going to walk because of the bike. Faye is naysaying. Donna is tisking and asking me how much longer I’m going to put up with this crap. I first had this dream 1 or 2 years ago. I am looking for a way out of my present life.<o:p></o:p>

I am in a wheelchair. I might be with someone is a wheelchair but the feeling is that I’m in the wheelchair. I have to travel around and it isn’t easy. I’m looking for a job and that is troublesome too. I go on TV to talk about all of the problems related to being in a wheelchair - even temporarily. Then I am on ET for a movie premier. Later, some guys see me and get excited when they recognize me.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

This was an odd dream.

Linda W and I are out driving around in the truck. There is a problem with tires. One or more I don’t know. Some men are there - good and bad. One group talks to us the other group watches. One group helps change the tires the other group carps and complains. Then we are in a doctors waiting room. Suzanne is seeing a bunch of doctors getting help. Then we are at a party and there is a storm.

Some people are positive, others are negative. Just because someone lives differently doesn’t mean they can’t help you.

In the first part of the dream I am in Mesa. I have had a baby (my rebirth) and I am showing off. There are a lot of people there that I haven’t seen in years. In the next part of the dream I am supposed to meet a blind date at a restaurant (James) and Joanna tutors me on how to behave. It is quite odd.

I am living in a small town. I have moved here to take care of people. I drove down the highway from Utah(?) to get to this place. I drove the truck. Suzanne and Lacey live in the same house. They are very happy to be together again. I come home from work and they are waiting for me. My brother Charlie lives with us, too. He is asleep on the couch. I get everyone out to the museum. There is a display of shells. Some are cross-sectioned so I can see their shape. I am talking with a woman and we remark about how the nautilus is shaped like a sperm in the cross-section. This is the universal shape.

I am wealthy and successful. A particular group of people is trying to destroy me. They spout some kind of nonsense about class and rank. Some students insist that I do their work for them because of their social standing. I let it be known that if they are as superior as they claim to be then doing their own work will be a breeze. They recognize my argument and leave. There is one student who is far more than capable. He tries to tell about how the ‘system’ works. I tell him that I’ve already met my immediate publishing goals and he is surprised. He realizes that I am the visiting author that was there for a day.

I am angry and I feel betrayed. My agent is on their side not mine. David(?) tells me about a time when he was betrayed. He tells me about the ‘power elite’ and how they decide who succeeds and who doesn’t. He tells me that he is producing a studio project with REM on a movie soundtrack. He tells how the deal was arranged and what work is in progress and other projects.

Then I am invited to a martial arts ceremony. They are supposed to attack me. (Maybe) Anyway, some of them remove their arms to replace them with saws or chains etc. to make themselves stronger. I receive help from an unlikely source. Kevin? Jim?

I am in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com</st1:place><st1:City w:st="on">Mesa</st1:City> and see a car that I can’t identify. So I walk around behind it to see if there are any marks. On one side is a manufacturer’s plate that reads 1J on the other side is a plate that reads Y3 in the lower right is Jaguar so I assume this is a Jaguar of some type. I tell Kevin about seeing the car but he wants to know who was driving. I am very curious about the car and decide to learn more. I was attracted by the fact the back end looked like a late 60’s Camero. As I am walking to the library I see a woman. She has a dog with her that is pulling a cart. She has a warning for me but I wake-up here.

I am visiting in AZ at mom and dad’s house. I am in the kitchen eating a cinnamon roll and dad walks in. He wants one but he is on a diet and can’t have any. So I tease him. I am stopping over for a short visit. I am on my way to Texas(?) to teach some kind of class or seminar. Some people want me to stop in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:State w:st="on">New Mexico</st1:State></st1:place> and visit with them. I explain why I can’t and they get upset and accuse me of abandoning them. One of them is the woman with the dog.

There is a war. There are lots of bombs going off everywhere. I used to work but now I just make bombs. Everyone makes bombs. I remember wondering where Ron is and if he’s happy now that he has his war. There are rumors about machines. The machines are starting to fix themselves. There are only a few people left.

I am upgrading a computer system and I am at the store and the salesman doesn’t understand why I can’t run Ron’s setup. And I tell him that Ron is a bastard and any time I asked questions that Ron always reacted strangely. Then I am home and a lot of pictures are being taken and old photos looked at. I’m taking pictures of Suzanne and Lacey, and Linda W is taking pictures and Linda W and I are being photographed. Jim Varney is there and he is giving us pointers on how to set up the pictures. We are all laughing and having fun.

I traveling with my family. We are all jammed into the Suburban. We stop at the rest stop outside of <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com</st1:place><st1:City w:st="on">Phoenix</st1:City>. It is called Sunset Point. The area is very strange. It’s like we are on another planet. The plants and the ground are different. The plants are big and oddly colored. And the plants don’t behave like Earth plants. The ground is a weird color and hard as concrete. Then we are at a hotel in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Utah</st1:State></st1:place> and we are watching Entertainment Tonight. I recall someone asking what was it like to be on that show but I won’t answer. the story we see is about Diana Ross ‘returning’ to <st1:place w:st="on">General Hospital </st1:place>but I don’t believe she was ever on that show. And they go on to ask will others be returning like Greg Evigan, Emma Samms, and Liz Taylor.

Again I am riding with another person. But I am in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com</st1:place><st1:State w:st="on">California</st1:State> and I am a writer. There are celebrities all over the place. Something has happened on the road up ahead. People keep turning to me and saying, “Do something. Can’t you do something?” they seem to think that I am the only one who can help. I get out of the truck and move forward to see what the problem is. I want to help take care of the problem. And I know that I can handle whatever it is.

This is a dream with James Bond. I meet him at a square dance but I’m visiting in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:State w:st="on">Texas</st1:State></st1:place> so I don’t know any local people that can help him. We are closed up in a barn with some snakes. One snake is very large and bright yellow. We agree with each other about whose fault it is that we are in here. I look for a way out and he takes care of the snakes. It takes him a while because the snake is mean and strong.

In the dream I am talking to someone, a nameless, faceless person, about snakes. I am washing pet snakes in a bucket of soapy water. Then I am at a party; or a lot of people show up so we decide to have a party. In this dream I keep thinking about how I don’t like snakes.

The topic is prostitution - should it be legalized. I’m driving around thinking how stupid some of these people are as they don’t really know what they are talking about. I must be looking for someone in particular because I ask a lot of people where this one girl is. I bitch at some of them because they are so callus in their attitudes towards these girls.

I have to get dressed up because there is a meeting and a party and the kids will be there. There is a dog with us. I think it is a golden retriever but I keep wondering where Omar is. Someone is trying to get revenge. I see a guy in a car, he stops to talk to me about paybacks. I explain to him that there is a better way to live. But he insists that it has to be this way. I ask him to explain but he says I’m not part of the problem and that the children will be used as pawns. Later, at the house, someone tries to kidnap the kids. We get them away with the help of some security people. James? Then we are at a laboratory to report that everyone is okay. As we are getting ready to leave a bomb goes off in the building. We scramble to get everyone out. There is fire and gun play. We are able to get the children. A boy talks to me. He know a way out but we will have to be fearless to get out.

I am in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:country-region w:st="on">England</st1:country-region></st1:place> doing some research. I meet this man and we start an affair. One day I visit him at his house. I’m angry about something. We have sex and I fell calmer. His wife comes home as I am leaving. She makes a couple of remarks about wedding plans. I reply that I’m not interested in marriage. And since I’m so unconventional I wouldn’t do much of anything the same way she would. We start talking and I learn that the reason he has affairs is because she’s a lesbian. There is much activity getting the front parlor ready for the wedding. Someone makes a joke about the pope coming to visit.

We have Lacey with us and we are there to pick up Suzanne. We stop at a Ramada Inn for the night. The next morning <st1:City w:st="on">Las Vegas</st1:City> has turned into <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Salt Lake City</st1:City></st1:place>. I go to church to hear the sermon. I meet someone called Black Jack Blackmon he is a bastard. I’m wearing pants and I take the sacrament - no change.

A group is discussing their “homes.” Interior, exterior, landscaping, decor, colors, etc. are all examined. We all look through each others “homes.” Some people ask how did I find mine. I tell them about growing up and always knowing there was a better way. My “home” is currently being remodeled so many are unimpressed.

I am at Linda W’s house. It is being remodeled. One morning I get up and walk outside. I see that Ron has been there and left Omar and some pieces of woodworking in the middle of the driveway. Linda and I laugh and shake our heads at his behavior. Inside the house is in browns - brown, rust, and tam. Linda says that the colors are my idea.

Then the dream changes. I am in a gov’t office that is being remodeled. I am there with James and we are looking for a file but we can’t find it. A man comes out with the file and asking a lot of questions. I can tell that he doesn’t know what’s happening. He shows us the file and I see how we missed it. We were looking for Frank Lydons instead of F Liddons. I try to get the file from this guy but he keeps asking questions. He realizes that he has walked into something. I still try to help him out but he won’t go. He looks at me directly and says that you have to live life as it comes. He admits that he isn’t the smartest man around but that he doesn’t need me interfering in his choices. He goes on to say that good or bad you take your chances and it turns out the way it turns out.

Both of these dreams are in answer to a programming I made at bedtime. I asked for help with the Test Issue that I have always had difficulty with.

The dream about Linda’s house has come true. The was a violent wind storm in 1996 that nearly destroyed the house. She had the chance to remodel the entire interior. The floor is rust tile, and beige Berber carpet, and a brown wood entertainment center.<o:p></o:p>

I am driving around in the truck. I’m helping investigate a crime. I find myself in a restaurant. I am talking to someone about the stuff I’m investigating. They don’t want to do the work and explain it away. I talk to them about this problem and how important it is for the kitchen floors to be clean. The restaurant is starting to fill up. Some of the patrons are from the newspaper. They start fussing about what’s going on.

I am visiting Ron. Someone is putting out fires. Omar is not in the dream. I need to talk to Ron but he keeps saying he’s too busy. That night we are ready for bed. I’m in my nightgown and I sit on his bed to talk to him. Ron makes a pass at me. I get upset and leave. There is a part here where I look in the truck mirror and notice that my skin is peeling. The skin is quite dark that is coming off and underneath the skin is very white. It is almost shiny it is so light and white. I go to my parents house and tell them what happened. Then <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<st1:country-region w:st="on">Chad,</st1:country-region></st1:place> my step-nephew, goes and lectures Ron. He talks about how Ron has mishandled our marriage and that I am wonderful.

I am driving through town in the truck. There is a guy in a truck ahead of me. He is driving slow and drifts across lanes so I can’t get around him at an intersection. There is a woman waiting to make a left turn, she just sits there in the intersection. We wait for her to turn but she backs up instead. The man and I look at each other then back at her. She shrugs and smiles sheepishly. He shakes his head and laughs. I ask her why she didn’t turn. She says something about not wanting to get in anyones way and she is whiny and submissive and when she says anyone she means men. She thinks women are scum. I go on my way. I have better things to do with my time than to live by her rules. I finally get to the hospital where I am visiting my friend who has had a stroke. She is getting ready to leave the hospital and wanted to ask me to do her a very great favor. Nedra? Anyway, I go for a long walk with her young husband. The favor she wants me to do is to accommodate her husband sexually. I am shocked at first but we talk and I begin to understand that she is dying and can’t have sex with him anymore. I set up some ground rules but I’m not sure that they accept my conditions. He talks about children and how they understand responsibility. He uses an example about war and how privileged children share their toys with the less privileged children.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>
