NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
As far back as I can remember, I'm in a grocery store, trying to find Kiba, and my father hands my a can full of hornets. He then goes on to tell me that each of these hornets has something that I can't tell them to attack, and he tells me what it is for each of them. Needless to say, even inside of the dream I don't remember what it is for any of them, but it was ridiculous things like a jar of honey or a flower.
I sneak off through the aisles of the store, trying to find a good place to spy on [whoever it was I'm trying to spy on]. I hide behind a large grill display, and look away for a moment at a shelf full of cans of Chef Boy RD Ravioli, and I hear my mother say, "you can't save him; it's already too late." I turn Back around and look to see that the grill display is gone, and my mom is sitting at a patio table display, a green wire frame table set with a glass table top.
*I wake up at this point, but go back to sleep.*
I'm now in a house that has elements from both of the houses I've lived in before, but looked completely foreign. My father had told me that there was a secret area in this house that no one remembered, and now I'm trying to find it in order to find Kiba [and I suspect Widow as well]. I go around knocking on the walls and old entertainment centers and stuff, trying to find the entrance to the area, and at one point my grandma appears and takes me into the laundry room to give me some good advice about dealing with my mother, but I can't remember it anymore. Eventually, as I'm about to go into the living room, my brother walks up to me and tells me that dad told him where it is. He goes up to a corner, taps three times in a triangle shape on the wall, and a time section pulls back. He doesn't do anything else, so I reach in and turn the section, causing a door sized section of the wall to swing open. I go into the hidden section, which is like a multiple room sized attic or unfinished section of the house, and go to the right. After one more right turn, I see an area full of dog cages with puppies in them. I open all the cages and bring two of them back, one of them being a puppy with the markings of a Rottweiler, and when I get back to where my brother is, he tells me that I shouldn't have uncaged them, that they were supposed to be locked up. I start to turn around and go to try to lock them all back up, but someone that I knew but couldn't recognize quickly walked by and took them from me, saying he'd do it and I needed to get my friends.
I run forward through the only other door, and on the level below are two large cages, one with Kiba in it and another with Widow in it. The stairs down are blocked off with more cages with puppies in them, so I hop over the railing to the floor below. First I go up to Widow's cage, and call him, but he's just sitting there indian style, apparently meditating, and can't hear me. I try for a while to get his attention, and when I can't, I telepathically insert an illusion into his mind that his daughter was about to be raped. This obviously worked, as he was up and ripping the door off of the cage in half of a second. I apologized to him for doing that once he was himself again, and he asked if his daughter was okay. I told him that she was, opening a link to her to make sure I hadn't jinxed her by some odd chance, and she appeared beside me. I tell them both that they should go up and try to get all the puppies back in the cages (having a very bad feeling that those 'puppies' are actually the trappers)m abd I go to Kiba's cage. He's in a worse condition than Widow was in, and he's laying stretched out in the cage blathering, apparently thinking he was in a large comfy bed. I try to get his attention, then try to cast an illusion that his wife's talking to him, but all it ends up doing is calling her there as well. She is somehow able to get him to snap out of it somewhat, and he gets out of his cage as well.
Just then his mom comes walking in, and I can see his eyes cloud over again, even though I can easily tell that that's not his mom, just someone illusioned to look like her. e goes over and hugs her, and, annoyed, I go and pull them apart and slam her on the ground. I push energy into her, and her guise falls apart, leaving a black headed hyena person there instead. I can tell this still isn't the real thing, and it feels like whatever it is is just wearing the corpse of a hyena, but I can't shatter that guise as well, so I just hold it up to Kiba. "Does this look like your mom? Now get out of here, I'll take care of this thing."
I hold my hand over it, and one set of chains binds it to the floor as another cocoons it. I then form a cage around it, and no sooner do I than it turns into the Rottweiler puppy and slips out of the chains. Looking around I can see that a lot of puppies are around the room now. Suddenly Widow calls me and I look up to see him standing on the platform above. He says we've got to go, and when I ask about the puppies he says they broke out of the cages. Not too keen on the idea of being surrounded by a bunch of trappers, I jump to the platform above and he gives me a hand over the railing. We take off running, but I quickly realize that we're going in circles. Not too keen on the idea of potentially being trapped in an illusion, and now able to sense that this isn't actually Widow, I take my hand from his and stop running, but he keeps on running. I turn around and hit the wall with both hands, and a seemingly infinite corridor forms from the holes through about thirty or more walls behind it. At the end, I see a black man wearing a wife-beater shirt looks up at me, thanks me for 'loosing' him, and runs off. I call out to the fake Widow, "if you're really Widow, just gate back to the forest, Crystal has it protected so they can't follow us back." I turn around, and a doorway made of vines grows from the ground. I open the door and step through it.
Back in the forest (which is basically my home in the dream world), I see Widow, his daughter, Kiba, and his wife, as well as possibly some other people standing there waiting for me. I ask Widow if that was him back there running around the building and he replies that they all left when I told them to, because they knew I could handle myself back there. I nod, and wake up.
Comments: Just to clarify, Widow is a recurring DC that I have. I've met a lot of his family, and I'd say that his is the most developed family in my dream world. Kiba is another recurring DC. The trappers are a class of beings in the astral that will go around trapping and trying to enslave spirits, dreamers, and who knows what else. They are an extremely slippery bunch.
