We should try to be as lazy as possible though. It's the way of life.

Question: Why can't we use double quotes in the records?

I thought it would glitch up but you have a nice error prevention warning telling me to go back and find accidental double quotes.

not sure if you already have this Identity, but I would recommend putting an optional password at the beginning of the program to get on... I know that all the dreams I have are completely weird and I would hate to have anyone else read them So a password would be great...

also not sure if you forgot to email the program or lost my email address? But its [email protected]

I keep it on a floppy and carry it around with me.

Because the program uses serial data. Any text data will be recorded as "Text Data", and thus "Test " Data" will only record "Test " as the data and will muck up the file...

I might include such an option in the forthcoming version... and I'm emailing you right now.

Whilst on the subject of the forthcoming version, I've finished the filter, working on the options and yet to do picture and LucidInducer. A couple of days and it'll be done, I reckon.

Version 1.1 is finished! Just PM me if you want it, as always.

      It's features include

      LucidInducer
      Picture Attachments
      Options dialog & auto-startup stuff
      Updated help system
Much better filter, including text searches
      Password protection
      And more...

Oh yeah I think I should get round to telling you how to sort out 'that' problem i.e. an error about comdlg32.ocx. Search on the internet for comdlg32.ocx, download it, and, after BACKUPING THE ORIGINAL FILE (I cannot stress this enough), copy it to your C:windowssystem32 directory. This should make the big bad error go away...

And if you happen to not have access to your C:/Windows/System32 directory?

Thanks Identity! The new version is a LOT better! I like how you made it much easier to enter the codes with the drop down menu!

Nice to see my work is appreciated.

By the way sorry but my solution to the problem doesn't seem to work, for Berzerk Exodus anyway.

Alright, I got the program and I'm playing around with it. I think you should change how you edit dreams, instead of just overwriting them, you should be able to load up the dream and then edit it and save, and is there a way to edit dream titles?

Also...what is Code: all dreams with feature ___ (on the main screen)

A bug: if you click add dream and then cancel it or just close it, it adds the dream anyways. and there should be a way to delete dreams.

Read Help, Corbin, you can edit dreams from their original state by using 'Details from Dream Number' and then 'Edit'(its easier in v1.2, which is still far from completion). You can't change titles or delete logs, I'm afraid, and that thing you were mentioning is used to filter dreams that feature a specific element. (If you enable Use Filter, select Filter Mode to Code and then type in the apropriate letter - see 'Help on Codes')

Oh and that bug, yeah it's there but it's not that obstrusive.

Program suggestion: When you search for text it should highlight all the found instances in the window.

      Identity X,
Thanks for the program it works great and has given me the incentive to keep a regular dream journal. One problem is that whilst getting used to the program I entered a couple of dreams that are just blank and cant be deleted, oh well doesnt matter nice program anyway.

Excellent, I can't wait, been using the program since you sent it over and it's working great aside from the few bugs that I hope will be fixed in the next version

      Thanks Identity,
