<2> 23/9/06 – My English Teacher is a Cat&#33;?

I was in my English class, and we were waiting for the teacher to come. The next thing I knew was that there was a big human-sized red cat with green eyes walking into the classroom. He said that he was my English teacher&#33; And then he started teaching us just like my real teacher would… Very strange.

<3> 26/9/06 – High Street Shop Hijinks</span>

I tried megabenman’s “Get more DILDs” method last night. I didn’t get an LD, however, my recall has increased dramatically, even after my recent dry spell&#33;

I was at home with my mum. She said that she’ll be going out to the shops for 5 minutes. I acknowledged her and then she went out the door. Once she was out of range, I headed out of the door and towards the high street. I was wanting to go out to the shops myself for something without my mum around, and with only 5 minutes, I started to run. I came across the Co-op on my left hand side, so I went in through the glass doors. I was shocked to find my mum coming in after me, but she only said “I’ll be back here in 5 minutes, okay?”. I nodded to her.

I can remember a lot of details about the shop. It had a red and white tiled floor, the checkout was on the right of the entrance next to the large window. There were various shelves all arranged in a perpendicular fashion with various items on them. Looking deeped back into the shop, there was a brown carpet area with more shelves, and there was even an exit at the back of the shop to a shopping mall&#33; I could see an Asda at the end.

Okay, so this is where it got weird. I found a box of Maltesers of a shelf in front of the other large window at the front of the shop, emptied it, and somehow produced a pen from my pocket and begin writing on it. I wrote a sum on it, I think it went like this:

After writing that, I explored the shop a little. I came back to the Maltesers box and found that the numbers had changed slightly. <span style="color:#555555">(This might have been an effect of being in the dream, but my dad had changed it himself.) I was kinda annoyed at this, and then this big guy came along. He was wearing a red and black stripy jumper and black spiky hair. He was like a tall grown-up obese version of Dennis the Menace&#33; He was apparently raging at me, and said: “You got the sum wrong&#33; That doesn’t equal 3010&#33;&#33;” Then he stomped off somewhere else. Next, I saw my dad standing at the glass doors waving on me to come home. Before I did, I scrawled down a message on the inside of the Malteser box:
<blockquote>Big guy, I’m sorry that the sum was wrong. My dad had changed it while I wasn’t looking. Byebye</blockquote>
The writing was incredibly messy; it didn’t even look like my real life handwriting&#33; After writing that, I went out of the shop and I woke up.

<4> 26/9/06 – Crystal Maze Revamped

I was in a large room in what seemed to be a castle: the walls were shiny mossy stone, and I could hear a low wind whistling in the background. I started to swing around on what looked like cannonballs tethered to the ceiling by chains…

I was lowered onto the ground by the cannonball I was hanging on to, and found a funny wooden device. It has two compartments: two open boxes, one with dice and a switch on it, and a higher up one with a catapult on it. I took one of the dice and shot it from the catapult, trying to flick the switch on the other box. I missed, so I took another one, tried again, and I missed again. It was funny how the dice got gradually bigger as I held them. I then thought about how stupid this was, so I went over and flicked the switched myself.

This caused a large part of the wall to be raised; it revealed a treasure chest sitting on the knees of a skeleton, dull and grey with age. I ran over to it to find out what it was. The chest was unlocked, and I found several pieces of parchment inside which read thus:

I was figuring out what this could mean. While I was doing this, I could see a timer in the bottom right corner of my vision, just like the one on the TV show The Crystal Maze. The time on it was around 1:35, and decreasing. And then I woke up.

<7> 28/9/06 – Research in the Mansion

I was in the library of an old mansion, where the bookcases were huge. I took a book out of the shelf and took it over to a desk, so I could sit down and read it. I couldn’t remember at all what the book was about, or even what I was trying to research…

<9> 29/9/06 – Girl’s Dance Music Video?</span>

<span style="color:#555555">(This was a 3rd person dream.) This was a very short dream. It was like watching a music video accompanying some dance music. It was in a house with young girls dancing about, jazzed up with sparkles, stars and a helluva lot of pink… o_0

<11> 2/10/06 – Homework Logo

I don’t know how I didn’t become lucid in this one, because what was said was so bizarre&#33;

I was in a classroom sitting at a table, round which there was also 3 of my friends, and the rest were sat round other tables in the room. My new Chemistry teacher was sitting at the teacher’s desk (Geography classroom, Chemistry teacher? It doesn’t work out&#33; ) We all had our homework jotters in front of us. The teacher was talking about something to do with a ‘homework logo’:
<blockquote>Teacher: “Now, if you’re taller than an average classroom compass, then you can use one.”</blockquote>
So, we were to design a little logo to put inside our homework jotter… I can actually remember thinking in the dream about what I wanted my logo to be like.

<12> 3/10/06 – Shattered Window

I was in a church, and it was rather dark inside. I could see a man standing at the big stained glass window. He then produced a revolver and shot the large stained glass window, the sound reverberated around the church.

I ran outside and round the side of the church, and I saw a group of people dressed in white robes running into a graveyard. In a hurry, I followed them and they were carrying some kind of body… The threw it on the grass and then took out a gun and shot it for some reason, and ran off.

<13> 5/10/06 – Hotel Corridor

I was walking down a hotel corridor following my parents, carrying a bowl of ice cream (mmm…). The wall had elegant floral wallpaper. We kept going along the corridor until we came to a rather old-fashioned staircase with brass banisters and a floral carpet. So we started to go down the stairs and then I woke up.

My dream diary is up and running again. Hooray&#33;

<15> 26/10/06 – Micro Machines and the Hedgehog</span>

<span style="color:#555555">(This was a 3rd person dream.) I could see several locations in some town. I think the town was a Micro Machines town, and a lot of cars and other vehicles were going about.

The dream switched, and I could now see Spyro the dragon standing on a brown floor. “The camera” (me) followed him running down some steps. When he got to the bottom, he disappeared. Then a news bar (LOL) appeared at the bottom of my vision, like a news channel. The headline said “HEDGEHOG BANNING ORDER”. Apparently, hedgehogs had recently been banned from crossing roads. I could see a toy hedgehog being pulled away on a string by 4 big bouncers.

<17> 29/10/06 – Ridiculous Shop

I was walking down a wide street that looked like it belonged to any British city. The paving was a pale peach colour, and a road weaved its way across my path. Across the road on the right, I could see a shop building with a sign above the door, displaying the shop’s name. I can’t remember what it said, but it was displayed in white against a purple background. Then, a van drove along this road; a white van, painted on it was the same shop logo.

The dream jumped a little, and I was now in a shop (not the same one as earlier). It had a dark green carpet, and many wooden shelves loaded with metal ornaments. I could see my dad in front of me, and in this dream, he appeared to be the owner of the shop. I told him something about the other shop, which is apparently a rival company:
<blockquote>You know what? That other shop’s ridiculous&#33;</blockquote>My dad took this as a great compliment. He blushed, most likely thinking about how great people find his shop to be.

Wow reading other peoples dream journal makes me feal so good at lucid dreaming. I had about ten in 4 months, right now its about a three day space betwen them. but don&#39;t worry im sure you&#39;ll get Ld&#39;s on your journal soon and is it ok if I use the font colors like you do with the lucid goals and dream text? Just don&#39;t give up If a begginer like me can do it so can you, like I said don&#39;t give up keep trying maybe tomorrow there will be a dream in blue on your journal.

Yes, you can use the same formatting as my dream journal. I feel kinda honoured to see people doing that.

I didn&#39;t get any recall this morning unfortunately. I might combine MILD and WILD again tonight, it seemed to work pretty well before.

<20> 31/10/06 – Even Your Maddy Dad Can Do It

I was in a large department store looking at the board games section. I picked up a box I found on the shelf that looked rather interesting; it was a word game. I can’t remember what it was called, but the subtitle was “Even Your Maddy Dad Can Do It.”

I discovered a secret about this game. I looked at the bottom right corner of the box, and in white tiny writing, it read, censored:

<23> 1/11/06 – Aye, Robinson&#33;</span>

(This part was 3rd-person.) I could see someone lying in bed with a phone. They looked confused and annoyed, and asked something into the phone. My view switched to a completely different house, where 3 scruffy guys, who looked like 19-year-olds, where flaked out on the couch with a phone. They looked a bit drunk, and shouted into the phone “AYE, ROBINSON&#33;” and started rolling everywhere laughing&#33;

<span style="color:#555555">(This part was 1st-person.) I appeared in this dream, and was in what seemed to be a very modern pirate ship. I don’t know why, but I was walking around trying to spell “pirates” in Greek, like “πιρατες”. I then paused to see a woman, dressed in a black sparkly dress, sitting near a porthole, with giant hair. Hair like Marge’s from The Simpsons, but blonde, taller and wider&#33;

Not as funny as the board game one.

<24> 3/11/06 – Cauliflower Sheep?

I had walked into a rather small shop. It was like the ones you get in small tourist towns. I went through to the back where I saw an old red motorbike propped against the wall, and then I heard someone singing. I turned round, and an old skinny man was singing some Scottish tune, but I can’t remember what it was.

The scenery changed, and I was now in a field with my mum. There was a sheep in front of us, but it looked really unusual: its head was similar to this picture… I turned round and went towards the stone wall that surrounded the field, and the sheep started to charge towards me, making a really strange bleating sound. And then I woke up.

<26> 7/11/06 – The Amazing Hotel Experience

I was in a multi-story car park; there were several cars parked around the place. I saw a silver 5-seat estate with the doors open, and some of my classmates were inside. They were beckoning on me to get in with them. So I went over and sat in the driving seat (yay&#33; ). I flipped down the sun shield, and I noticed that the car radio was built into it: with a purple segment display screen and glowing controls&#33; I took hold of the wheel and started to drive slowly to the right, avoiding the pillars and other cars. After that, I turned right again, and I noticed that I had almost run over my Computing teacher, who was walking briskly along with the car. He said to us “Get out and go down to the ground floor”. So we all got out of the car, and I saw another car just like ours, with more of my classmates in it, who also got out. I started to head over to the elevator that I saw from a distance, but something went wrong: I could smell the most godawful petrol smell ever&#33; Blech, it was absolutely disgusting&#33;&#33; This was actually quite amazing, because it was the first time I’ve ever smelt something so strong in my dreams&#33; I was stumbling about, being dizzy because of the smell of gasoline. I managed to stumble over to the elevator and pressed the button. I heard a ‘ding’, the door opened, and we all (about 10 people) went in.

The elevator was rather remarkable: it was huge inside. It was around 8 metres by 8 metres large, and it had a wooden floor, pink worn out wallpaper, and wooden skirting around the ceiling like an old mansion&#33; I was slightly disturbed by the amount of creaking noises the floor was making. The door closed again, and someone pressed the Ground button. I felt the lift go down quite quickly, and stopped again after 4 seconds. I think we had gone down 2 floors, so the car park was apparently on the second floor. The door opened again, and I felt kind of happy about what the lift was like.

As we came out of the door, we were on a balcony, overlooking a long aisle, decked with Chirstmas stalls where people were selling Christmas gifts, cards and decorations. There was clouds of shiny golden glitter flying around. There was also a huge spiral-shaped slide that came down from the ceiling and led onto the floor with some kids sliding down it. At the end of the aisle, I could see a pair of large golden-rimmed glass doors that reminded me of executive hotels. So this building was most likely a hotel. I could then hear someone on the tannoy system, but I can’t remember what they said.

The dream changed for a little while, and I was in my primary school’s playground with a girl I know. This was the dialogue:

Girl: What did you do with the invitation I gave you?
Me: I kept it, I liked it a lot.

I didn’t understand that at all.

The dream went back to the hotel, but it was really dark. I was sitting with 5 people at a small table on the floor under the balcony, but I couldn’t see who they were. One of them turned invisible, and then we split up. I found myself running over loads of tables in the dark. The tables had random letters on them out of “g”, “a”, “pg”, “m” and “y”. I think they were film certificates. I ran over the tables, knocking over cutlery and stuff and made it to the large staircase on the other side. And then I woke up.

<27> 11/11/06 – The Laptop

This is a short dream I was able to recall. I was in a room with a Chinese woman who had a shiny silver laptop. For some reason, I was trying to close it; I pulled the screen back slowly, occasionally looking into this woman’s blue eyes. I was able to pull the screen right back, and I noticed that I had pulled it the wrong way. The woman grabbed the screen and pulled it back her way and closed it. I somehow felt guilty for not closing it properly, and I had wanted to say sorry to her. It was a very strange emotion…

<29> 12/11/06 – Game Over?</span>

<span style="color:#555555">(This was a 3rd person dream.) I was playing some video game that involved driving a car over several bamboo bridges. I made it skid about and I lost control of it. I heard a clock ticking in the background, and after 10 seconds, my vision went black. I heard a rather eerie bell sound; it was just like the one in the British game show Knightmare, where the bell rings three times when the game is over. After the first time the bell rang in my dream, a rather creepy picture flashed up, of a car with a humanoid face, sort of growling at me. The bell rang another time and the image disappeared. Game over?

<30> 14/11/06 – Doesn’t Make Sense

I was standing in what looked like a castle courtyard, but it was long and narrow. I was talking about “X distance” and “Y distance” to someone for some reason, and a car was coming right at me.

The scene changed, and I was now looking at a knight on horse-back outside of the castle. I drew an 8-shaped line on him with my finger in the air, and then he rode off. I can harld remember anything else.

<31> 15/11/06 – Human Adoption and The Death Room

I was standing in an area where the ground was made of concrete, and I could see a train station in the distance that was probably used to transport coal. I could also see five men coming up to me, all with bleached spiky hair. Apparently, they were a new boyband called “CUPAP” which stood for something—I actually read what it meant in the dream—but I’ve forgotten it.

They told me to follow them somewhere, so I did. They took me down a set of concrete steps into a kind of “concrete gorge”, that was about 5 metres wide by 15 metres long, and about 5 metres below ground level. It was gently sloped towards the end of the area. The boyband told me that there was going to be an adoption session here; I thought “What?”, but I soon found out what it was all about. About 30 or so kids appeared all over the concrete slope, and they all started running around “adopting” each other. I tried to grab someone, but they were all taken before me.

The dream changed, and I was now in a peculiar room with dark red carpet and wallpaper. There was also a funny wooden rack that was about 20 metres long with bodies hanging from it. They weren’t scary, because they lacked significant detail, just like characters in the game RuneScape. I went over to touch one, but something happened. I was now watching a short “cutscene” of me, who was now lacking detail too, being killed by some queen and being hung up on the rack. Not nice.

<32> 16/11/06 – Strange, Very Strange

I was on a funny old steamboat, which was going down a narrow river. There was a vast area of marsh all around the river. I did something on the boat, but I can’t remember it.

The dream changed, and I now found myself in a shop-like building. There was a cube shaped metal basket at my feet, and I bent down and took a big coin out of it. The coin was made of gold and had some kind of logo on it. I looked up to find my English teacher, who said “How did you get that?” as if I’d stolen it. I said that I’d just picked it up out of the basket, and he went away. I had another look in the basket and saw a selection of GameBoy cartridges. I found a “Donkey” cartridge, and it had a realy interesting picture on it. It was a golden pineapple; above that there was a monkey head and a female symbol.

The dream changed again, and that is where my dream turned into a nightmare. I was in my mum’s bedroom, and I decided to look through some drawers. In the background, I could hear a faint voice that could only be described by “aglagarragragalarrarugalae”, quite crazy sounding. I thought of hurrying up, and the sound was getting louder, and then it got really loud, and then I screamed and got sucked into the drawer and woke up. I spent the rest of the morning being paranoid doing constant reality checks.

<33> 25/11/06 – Basketball Skills</span>

<span style="color:#555555">(This dream is a result of a WILD attempt that I accidentally fell asleep doing. :sweat1

I was standing in a concrete basketball court, and there were shiny silver walls all around it. Several other people were around me, and one of them hit me in the face with a basketball. I laughed and said “Just keep it in that space”, pointing to a small alcove in the wall. I got hit with a ball again and got angry, and screamed “Will you just keep it in the ****ing space&#33;&#33;” I could then see Jamie, one of my classmates, dribbling the ball past everyone else and I thought “Woah, he’s got some skills.”
