      Qqqqq432's Dream Journal

Hello Everyone. I'm pretty new to this website. I first heard about lucid dreaming about 8 months ago, and I have been trying to have a lucid dream ever since then. I have yet to succeed, but I'm still trying. Anyway, up until a few weeks ago, I had been neglecting my LD efforts for several months due to stress in school and other stuff. I'm now trying to get my dream recall back up, and so far its coming pretty well. I'm having problems keeping a dream journal, due mostly to a lack of motivation. So, I decided to start a dream journal here to keep myself accountable. At this point, I mostly remember just little bits and images from several dreams in the morning. I only remember dreams in good detail every few days or so. But I'll do the best I can.

One other thing before I start posting: One thing I have noticed about my dreams that differentiates me from other people on this site (at least those whose dream journals I have read) is how much weirder mine are. Most people's dreams, while containing strange, unrealistic things, are usually in relatively normal settings. Mine, on the other hand, are in totally bizzare, made up settings. I don't think I've ever had a dream in a normal setting. My subconcious mind always create bizarre, original settings for my dreams. I guess this means that i have a very creative, abstract subconsious mind. Which makes it all the more frustrating that I never question my dream circumstances. I always blindly accept everything around me in my dreams, even though it's completely rediculous. I guess my dream self is a complete idiot. Oh well, on with my dream journal.

The Ultimate Popsicle Keyblade- Monday 6/11/07

In this dream I was Sora from the game Kingdom Hearts. I got a legendary keyblade for accomplishing some task or other. It looked like a giant, yellow, double popsicle. It started to melt (the first and only rational occurance in the dream) so I got a second one by smashing a box in a secret room the I had been to before. After this I went up a dark forest path in the back of the room. This led me to a new place, a kind of tropical paradise. I fought hordes of monkey-like enemies. The keyblade had turned into a pirate sword, something I didn't notice at first and didn't acknowledge. When I killed enough enemies in a row, or something else like that which indicated that i was doing well, the keyblade would temporarily turn into this really powerful, blue weapon thing (oddly shaped, didn't look like a sword or a keyblade, not sure how to describe it) it had a different name, something to do with a dragon. I eventually came to a difficult boss, I think he was a human, a fat guy but he could fight well. I think my weapon had shrunk to a dagger at this point, but I didn't really notice in the dream. I won, then I think I jumped off the platform I was on, and then the dream ended.
