      Mindhack's dreams

Welcome to my dream journal. I will try to keep things short. Comments appreciated.

      Anti-virus vs. Word.

I was checking out an anti-virus program my brother recomended to me.(on his password protected computer he won't unlock for anyone but himself.:p) When I
found it, I said something to the effect of "Are you kidding! This is utter crap. (My subconscious, only remembering "software", then spouted out this gem.) WORD is better than this!" This statement made me just lucid enough to
record the dream to a more concious part of my mind. Besides, convince my brother it was crap was what I would have done anyway. Then I woke up, but the weirdness didn't end there.

When I woke up, I tried to recall a dream, but failed. So while I was laying there in my bed, my subconscious was flipping through my memories, trying to recall a dream, while I thought of nothing of interest. Next thing I know, I'm singing the plot of this dream to the tune of "Do Your Ears Hang Low?".
Then I did an RC (of course.) I was awake .

I though it was do your "boys" hang low.:p That's an interesting recall technique anyways.

      Bicycle

      Bicycle

The dream started with me thinking of bicycling for no apparent reason. Then I decided to play computer. (for no reason, but that is normal :p) I became lucid for a split second to remind myself "Don't forget to do a Reality Check!" So I went into the laundry room, flicked on the light, and... nothing! This gave me full
lucidity, but, being the noob I am, I got over exited.

      Delayed recall, no singing though.

      True power.

I forgot to put my alarm in my closet to muffle the sound, so my recall is a little fuzzy.

      True Power

I was protecting/ retriving something of world-changing importence . It was solid grey and perfectly spherical, but had no other distiguishing characteristics. My friend, Parker, was also involved, probebly who I was retiving it for. Of course, the dream had to end just before the climax.

      The final fronteir

YAY! My first lucid-enough-to-control! It was Very passive control, but still control.

      The Final Frontier

I was going on a space adventure.(in case you couldn't tell from the title.) Why was ether 1. Automatic (such as monitor something with sensors), or 2. I chose not to care, because I knew it wasn't "real" work. Ether way, I didn't feel it was importent enough to remember. Just in time for chatting to become boring, one of the people in a Rocketbike behind us reported they ran out of fuel, triggering an abrupt change is scenery to a gas station on an otherwise uninhabited, desert planet. Of course, everyone had a rocketbike. I had just finished messing
around and the plot was about to begin again, when I woke up.

      DS

(Background: My brother, Sam, has been known to leave his DS on and folded if he thinks he will be back in a few seconds. That's right, he's too impatent to wait for a DS to boot up.:p)

      DS

Although my dream doesn't begin here, the farthest back I can remember is going to my room to play computer.(I don't have a computer in my room.) I walked in to find Sam's DS on in my closet. Which was in the wrong place. Next to the computer that shouldn't be there. And the light didn't turn on. Of corse, I became lucid, but I just let the dream play out for awhile. I walked back into the living room to tell Sam he forgot his DS, but when I opened my mouth, nothing came out! Actually, I wondered if I should; this could be my only oppertunity to do this, and, since it was a dream, I couldn't cause any harm. Then I woke up.

Tonight, I'm going to try to summon a Goomba apocolipse.

      Goomba failure

A chronicle of my failures in Goomba summoning.

      Attempt 1: The river.

I was lost in a desert. After searching around, I found a stream. The strange thing about this stream was it tasted like salt water, but it was fresh. I realized my explanation only worked for bacteria and became lucid. Trying to summon the Goomba army caused the dream to collapse. Weird.

      Attempt 2: Hogwarts

I was in the middle of The Order of the Phoenix, but my dream didn't follow the plot very closely. I had no trouble using my lucid powers to get into/ out of trouble, but when I tried to summon my Goombuddys, the dream collapsed again.

The next morning, I realised what I needed: a reason.

Fine time to hit a dry spot, isn't it.

      Welcom to the machine

      The Machine.

I was on my computer, looking at a helmet to increase lucidity/vividness. I realized I was going to focus on something in my dream, without fully realizing why. I went to my wallet to see if I had enough to buy the helmet, not realizing I had more money than I did in RL- even $2 bills! I decided that I had enough, and through the magic of dreams, I didn't have to wait for shipping!:p Under the excuse "Some Assembly Required", I started to focus on every detail of the helmet, which increased my lucidity/vividness. I almost became control-level lucid, to.

      Two for one

(Background: we have a house in the mountains we call "The Cabin")

      The Cabin

I had a false awakening where I overheard my parents talking about going to the cabin. If only I realized my parents were already asleep.

      Simpsons in history
I had a dream about how The Simpsons were involved in the civil war or something like that. I think I became lucid after realizing the begining was somewhere after the end.:p After awhile, I thought "Why am I not focusing and summoning?" So I focused on a nearby (black and white) building. Then I realized I was retelling, not experiencing, the events, so I could only summon and army for someone else to control. If only I had thought of mind control.

I may not be posting for a while, the first dream was right.

      Goomba

I finally summoned the Goombas... and that's all I remember about it. Will post my other dreams whenever.

      Its whenever!

      Tipton

The dream started in an empty, intentionally detail-devoid park. Everyone who worked at The Tipton (yes, from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody.) pulled up in an intentionally detail-devoid taxi. Mozby appeared out of nowhere holding a popcicle, and mentioned something about being his dream and his ability to do anything. I then went "Wait a minute, this is MY dream!" then proved it by destroying his popcicle and force-ending the dream.

I have to get to sleep soon, sorry.

Alright, I'm going to MAKE time to complete this!

      Sam's dream.

My brother tells me he became lucid and had the "perfect" dream. First try, without even reading this site, just by knowing it existed. I thought he would realize how dumb his dream was when he read this site, but I was still jealous.

      Goomba summoning (more detail)

After my past failures, I invented a Goomba whistle to aid in Goomba summoning. When I became lucid, I pulled the whistle out of my pocket. Then I turned around and my Goomba army was ready to attack.( No, you didn't skip the part where I blew the whistle, I didn't blow it.:p)

      Gundam

I was fighting in a giant robot. Then my partner ejected me for reasons I probably wouldn't understand if I remembered.

      Game Show

I was on a game show with all kinds of crazy stunts. I used lucid-type suggestions on how to complete the stunts, but I wasn't lucid.

      whatever

Don't worry, I keep my written dream journal more up to date.

      Mom
My mom came in to wake me up.(this was after band camp but before school start, which means 1. The "don't worry" was justified, and 2. There was no reason to wake up early.) I looked at the clock, and it was around 10:42. Logically, I then woke up.
I then looked at the clock in real life, and it was about 7:00.

      Slot Machine
I was standing in line at school for no particular reason when someone won the jackpot on a nearby old slot machine. Sometime, while trying to make it pay the jackpot, I became lucid. I used this to give more bad advice, and summon someone to fix it when I became bored.

      Motorstorm
I was lucid and riding a motorcycle really fast. Oddly, I learned more from this dream than and other dream in this post. 1. If I can have two lucids in one night while only trying to remember, I should try flying and be less lazy.2. Motorcycling requires lucidity-inducing amounts of concentration.

      Some FA I don't have a semi-clever name for.
I left my bed, went into the bathroom, and took an allergy pill. On the label, there was a warning to the effect of "May cause acceleration of sleep." Just before I became lucid, I said to myself "that's why I'm taking it just before bed, isn't it?"

      Tamaground
I found a Tamagotchi in a playground I've never been to. (Actually, I left it there in an earlier dream I forgot about.) Surprised it was still alive, I managed to find a secret area which also had something to do with reunion. Ok more like "uber-long cut scene". I even hurt my thumb scrolling through text.(about someone hurting their thumb playing with their Tamagotchi-see a pattern?) To top it all off, I continued to move my thumb as if I was scrolling through text after I woke up.

      Almost...

I went to get rocket shoes for the flying task I set for myself. However, the salesperson didn't seem trustworthy, and if I spent the whole time worring, something would go wrong, so I didn't end up getting them. I'll try without rocket shoes next time...

      update!

      Theater thug

I was sitting at a table at Disneyland when the person next to me tried to kidnap
me at gunpoint. I fought back, but he overpowered me and shot me in the head.
The dream seemed to be ending, but I realized the dream was ending, so I became lucid and survived. Then I dove under the table and he somehow knew where my head was without looking. I bent his hand back, stole the gun, and shot him.

      Theme park
I was standing in line for some ride. The attendants told us to move back, and make sure not to open the emergency door. "This one?" a lady in the back said, pushing in the bar and setting off the alarm. Then I woke up, the thought "Cool, I can still hear the alarm from the dream. Oh wait, that's my alarm clock."
