[I'd totally and absolutely fallen in love with that girl that I'm seeing little more than 5 minutes a week (on the train). She knows nothing about me. I don't know ANYTHING about Her either (what Her parents are like, whether She has a cat, whether She has a name). Everything thought up by my brain.]

In my dream, She [I don't know her actual name] was my girlfriend. We were lying side by side in my bed (with clothes of course!). We were about to kiss, but then we heard my brother coming upstairs where my room is, and I asked Her to hide, so She hid under my bed (somehow, I didn't want my family to know that I had a girlfriend). "Why now? Just why now?", I said twice. I then realized that She might think that what I meant to say was "why now, so few seconds before I've got Her as far as having sex with me?", which of course I didn't mean like that. I really hoped that She still liked me. I asked Her "can't we go to your house?", and She took her mobile phone and rang Her dad. I brought Her out of the house without being seen, and She went home.

Later on, Her dad came with his car and rang our doorbell. I opened the window and he said something that I couldn't understand, so I asked him to repeat what he had said. "I'm searching for Jürgen Maier [my dad], or Philipp Maier [my name]..." -- "I am Philipp Maier", I said, and he was like, "oh, that's fine, I'm Her (sic) dad, come with me", and I thought "hey, She does still like me^^". Her dad was talking to my dad [actually he doesn't live at home anymore] while I went downstairs, and they were all "cool, my daughter is your kid's girlfriend", vice versa and so on XD He then took me to the place where She lived, just so I knew where. Afterwards, I walked home again XD

Even later, I got a call by Her dad and he said "we've changed the plan, take a sleeping bag with you", and I was like "cool, I'll stay overnight!", so I packed my backpack and off I marched. On the way I was thinking "Is that a dream? I have no idea how I've become Her boyfriend. But then, all this is way too real to be a dream" [ I hadn't heard about lucid dreaming yet.]

After like 15 minutes, I came near the area where She lived [IRL, the area is in another town], and suddenly it was dark night (although it was quarter to 9AM). I didn't find the house, but I came near a meadow, and my sister was waiting there, observing the area I asked her where the house was and she told me in which direction to go. Off I went, and entered a house... but it was not Hers. In fact, it was my grandmother's neighbour's house (what could that mean? o_O), that IRL is elsewhere in the town. When I opened a door, some random 30- or 40-year old woman said "You could have knocked!" Then, my granny's neighbour [a 60- or 70-year old woman] said something similar, but more politely. I went through the backdoor and found myself near the meadow and near my sister again. She lighted a match, but then a small tree caught fire. First, it only burnt like a candle, but soon enough, the whole tree caught fire. I remember that the grass was very dry, so I feared that the whole meadow would catch fire. It didn't, but all the small trees on it, and the really small heaps of leaves that were also there. At least, it was now bright enough so that I was able to see where Her house was I was eating a pretzel that I'd had in my rucksack and entered the house. I saw that Her parents (who sat on the table) had prepared breakfast (it looked like spaghetti with tomato sauce, but it was something sweet...), and the situation was all awkward. I finished on my pretzel, and that's when She entered the room. We ate (it was 3 minutes past 9AM, and finally the sun was rising). Her parents (mostly her dad) asked me some questions, but nothing like "will you be nice to our daughter", just everyday questions. I heard a cat mewing, and I asked "Can your cat come in and go out as he likes or don't you have a doggy door where he can come in?" I think he said "Yes, he can". Then I saw that cat rampage in the garden behind the windows, because the strings of the clothesline were hanging really deep, and he sometimes gut stuck and looked like he was going to die (it looked REALLY terrible, in real life I guess he WOULD have been dead), but he was very skillful. We were all laughing, then I made some funny comment about him, whereupon Her mum let off a really shrill laugh, and thus the dream ended

One less important fact: Sometimes, the dream was a bit like a TV movie in which everyone spoke English. I heard everything in German, though, like synchronized. I know that because sometimes, I heard myself saying some English words which everyone understood. That's just happened once or twice within the dream, so...

Another fact: Our neighbours' cat died a few days before that dream, which may explain the end.

I don't know how the dream began, nor is it clear to me in what order events happened.

It is around 10 minutes to 1 PM. Me and some other members of my school's bigband as well as conductor are there. We prepare everything for our extended bigband audition starting at quarter past 1 [IRL, that audition happened the next day]. We put up chairs and music stands; I, however, have brought a chair cushion for myself, instead. When I place it, our conductor says that I shouldn't overdo it.

Instead of putting up 3 chairs for the rhythm group, as usual, [IRL it'd be 5; the guitarist and the keyboarder aren't present in the dream] I put up 4, because our former bassist is there, too. I think how fat it is to have 3 bassists [I am one of two bassists IRL] there, and how awesome it would be to have 3 bass solos in one song. This brings me to wonder what the other two bassists will think of my solo in "Born To Be Wild" [I play it IRL, too; I'm also the first bassist to have a solo in that song]. Furthermore I wonder why our former bassist is also present and whether maybe she is so good that she doesn't have to come to the auditions but only the gigs [as some of our members do].

À propos gig - we will play one at quarter past 1, not just an audition, as I'd thought. Before the gig, our baritone sax-player plays a genious solo to a CD record of "Caravan". I call the other members' attention to it, and when I turn around again, suddenly it's our conductor who plays the solo, but without the CD record. Instead, one of our trumpeters accompanies him on my bass. I totally rock out to it. Then I beg the trumpeter to hand me my bass.

At the end of the dream (before the gig, which turns out just to be an audition anyways) I read a newspaper and draw the notes of my bass solo onto it. I wake up, at about 8:45 AM.

I had a dream before that one, but I don't really remember much about it. It was a nightmare about some weird foursquare building (could have had to do something with a McDonalds, or not). We (I can't remember who "we" were), contrary to the expectations of the evil owner of the building (Mr. Burns from the Simpsons?), found the secret control room via a lifting platform. We try to destroy the platform, but we get into a quite long fight (I can't remember against whom).

Did my very first WBTB today. I stayed up for 15 minutes, doing some RCs, but basically trying to stay awake. When I went back to bed I lay awake for about 2 and a half hours (I know this because my clock beeps once per hour). Horrible.

When I awoke from a dream, I was so tired that I just couldn't write it into my DJ. Then I fell asleep again and had another dream, but this time, upon waking up, I tried to DEILD. Problem was, I DID keep my eyes closed, but I had already moved and turned around and such, so I just lay there still for 10 or 15 minutes till I gave up, and had forgotten the dream. (Also, my house is near a street, and lots of cars drove by, my sister woke up and walked through my room etc. Failure predestined.)

Finally something to report again! No lucidity attained, though.

I am on a class trip to Fürth; we are in the school which my best friend attends. I have the book that she lent me [IRL, too] with me so I can give it to someone who knows her.

Everything seems quite realistic, at least within the building; on the outside, on a dark mountainside, there are tiny trams driving around. Someone telecommands them; the person wants to run me down.

In the school, I wait for the final ping to look out for Sue [my best friend], but I can't see her anywhere. I think whether to take a tram to get to her house, but I've forgotten where she lives.

In another dream, me and a friend of mine wanted to record the Gorillaz' song "Hong Kong"; I don't know much more about it anymore, but possibly some sort of mafia was involved. The dream was quite long. It may also be that I had this dream before the one about Sue, I'm not too sure.

I can't really remember much from tonight's dream. It was located at my school. Sebastian, a classmate of mine, has forgotten to prepare his presentation for English class, and while he and the girl with which he has to present it hurry to prepare it outside the classroom, I am standing in the door to the room explaining to the English teacher that Sebastian will come in soon.

I remember another scene from the dream where I was in our school's mensa and everything was competely dark. I think I was there with Lukas, my best friend, but I can't remember what we were doing.

Oh yeah, and I remember another scene, could have been another dream, where I fisted a girl ô_O Can't remember whether I was the one fisting or someone else who gave directions, or the other way round, or both. Yeah. Weird. Random. FORGEDDABOUDITNAO

Again, I remember very little. It's set in my school again. I remember two scenes, one scene where our bigband's conductor says something to me, but he looks VERY different. He has glasses, and black hair, and generally doesn't at all look like him. I forgot what he said. In the other scene, I walk towards one of our trumpeters and ask him whether he will come to our audition on Monday, and he is all like "oh man I don't really want to", and I explain to him how fucked up and boring it will be if there are only half the band, namely 20 people. [IRL 20 people would be about the actual size of our band.]

I remembered a dream, and I think even a quite cool one, in the morning but was really too fucking tired to write it down... now I can't remember it... damn me

Tonight, I dreamt I was having a lucid dream, but I'm not quite sure that it was really a lucid. I went to bed at midnight, so I woke myself at 5AM. I stayed up for 5 minutes, doing a few reality checks, and wondered whether I could even fall asleep within the next hour (I had to wake at 6AM for school), let alone have a lucid. So anyway, I started to dream after 5 minutes or something. --

Me and some other person are in the kitchen. Suddenly, I think I'm dreaming and tell the person to do the finger RC (he puts his index finger through his other hand). It looks completely funny, so I do it, too. It feels totally weird, but funny.

From these forums, I know that I mustn't get excited because the dream would end, so I keep excitement down to a minimum successfully. XD The dream isn't really "real", though, so I do what I read in these forums - I rub my hands (doesn't help), and spin around (helps just a little). Whatever, I go on.

I walk through a door, and, as I also know from these forums, I know that I can do anything that I want in a dream, so I know that there will be a cloud behind it - and it is! It looks rather compact, though, so just to try my everending possibilities, I let myself fall through it - successfully, again! I don't know what happened afterwards.

Now I'm not really sure that this was a lucid dream. First, it didn't feel as real as every other person here describes it. I think only my vision was active, and maybe sound, but I felt nothing and smelled nothing. Vision was not real in a real-life kind of way, either. And it's not just my rememberance that tells me, I know for a fact that I wondered the same thing in the dream, too.

Second, I'm not certain about the level of control that I had. I have a feeling that maybe I only dreamt to have a lucid, y'know? Isn't there a difference between Dream Control and Lucid Dream? I think it might have been the first one? I mean, I was conscious, but I think it was my subconscious that decided what to do next. Had I had full control, I most probably would have summoned my crush, as was my plan for my first lucid. Furthermore, there were no dream signs or anything at all, I just suddenly had the "enlightenment" that it was a dream.

Btw, the "lucid" was in the mid of a completely different dream that I had (I don't remember too much from it, except that my parents were Turks (and didn't look like my parents at all) [a Turk classmate of mine was buried yesterday], and that I smashed the ground of our terrace with an icepick, and saw my room underward. ô_O).

Hey, congratulations, this was definitely a lucid dream - the fact you were conceously aware that you were dreaming counts, regardless of the degree of control - the fact you had some control and were aware is enough to count so well done.

I have found with lucid dreams, especially with the senses, that I would only fell them when I think about feeling them, for example if I am standing outside, I wont feel the wind unless I think about feeling the wind, and similarly for smells etc - It's not until I think about them that I feel them.

I had two dreams tonight, I remembered them both VERY detailedly in the morning, but by now, I forgot most of one of them, and the other one I forgot completely I planned to write them down in school (way too tired in the morning), but had to talk over some more or less important things with a friend.

The few things that I remember; some scientologists ruin my life somehow. I think they make me pay them lots of money or something, and I think I'm being held somewhere by a contract. In another scene of the dream, me and my best friend go into a random house and present babies or something to beautiful women. xD In the highest appartment, however, a kid opens the door [a good friend of my Turk classmate who recently committed suicide], and it's totally embarassing for Lukas and me for some unknown reason. We buy a battery from him, or something.

Quite detailed dream again. I remembered it ten seconds or something after waking up, but I had forgotten it even before I got up from bed. I don't feel that faulty today.

The dream starts off in a theme park, and I am Bart of the Simpsons. One of the attractions (some kind of maze in a cube) changes to a chapel on the next day. There are a lot of people in it, and the father of my recently died classmate holds a speech on the occasion of his son having died 10 weeks ago. His hair has turned grey. He also tells the story how his son died (a gang of kids had kidnapped him, among them his girlfriend, who was forced to do it, but who gave him food secretly and even took him for a walk). I can't remember how the dream ended, I think I just woke up at the end of the speech.

...Gah, it's always the same. I had quite wonderful dream recall a second after waking up, then I just lay in my bed still for a minute and had forgotten basically all of it, except the end.

I had dream recall after waking me at 4AM, but I woke my mother and thus forgot about the dream. For the first time since I started this DJ, I had absolutely no dream recall in the morning.

I'm surprised, I recalled my dream in the morning AND didn't forget it Not really much to say about it, though.

Me and a user from another forum have written the sheet music for a TV program, but someone else has also written sheet music for it, and his is chosen over ours. I'm quite jealous. In the other scene that I remember, I am at a live concert of Gorillaz, a quite amazing band (the four fictive band members are drawn in 2D in real life, but they're real in my dream). They're making music, but they're also just hanging around. There are few people at the concert, and I think I talk to the Gorillaz as well. Nice dream overall

It's strange, I don't really remember dreams until I've been up for 5-10 minutes. I normally write them down in details 5 hours after they happen.

But keep up the good work! I love reading stories/dreams like this!
