i really like your journal ( a bit explicit at times, but hey! that's what I want out of dreams too!)

i only read a few posts, including your lucid one that you claim is boring. keep up the great owrk, and i'm sure that eventually you'll be able to summon what you want!

Wow, thanks I certainly hope I can make some progress.

haha yeah, some of my dreams can have er, questionable content

and excuse the HUGE amount of typos in my dream journals. They're really bad, I know, I never bother proofreading them and I type them while I'm groggy just after waking up x_x barely able to see the screen or keyboard.

Heck, even when I'm wide awake I have crappy keyboarding skills

      Tattoo - Jan 3 2008

Last week I accompanied a friend to the tattoo parlor to watch him get a tattoo. Also, for the past month or so I've had an increasing amount of friends get their first tattoo. The place we went to was called Todd Lake Tattoo and Todd is a terrific artist.

But that's besides the point, the dream.

Apparently my dad's girlfriend, (calling her Mel), and my dad wanted to go get tattoos (they both already have some, so it wasn't a shocker), I was downstairs in my home, standing in the dining room by our kitchen. My dad comes down and says "We're going to get tattoos"

      "Really? Wow! Where" I say

"That one Todd Lake place you mentioned before, we'll see if he's a decent artist or not." he replies.

"Oh yeah! definitely! His tattoos are amazing!" I say

I hear Mel starting to head downstairs.

"Can I come too?!" I ask excitedly " You said i could get a tattoo as long as you came with me!"

      "sure!" my dad replies.

I begin to think of a specific piece of artwork that I wanted on my lower back.

      Excited, the dream ends.

      Spas, Bookstores, and Spanish-Speaking Dancers

      Spas, Bookstores, and Spanish-Speaking Dancers

      January 9 - 10 2009

I had a series of vivid, life-like dreams last night/this morning and it was pretty awesome. There were at least four of them, but I only remember three. I've never remembered so much from multiple dreams before.

At the nearby local shopping center, there was a new massage place/spa. The really nice kind with those mud baths instead f just people whacking your back for a few minutes.

I met up there with my friend from school, Emily. We both walked into the small front-end of the spa. It had sandy, tiled floors and seemed very big and open for how small it looked on the outside. The entire front was covered with large windows that looked out onto the parking lot and the stores on the other side.

There were light gray tables with chairs on the floor, and near the back of the front room was a counter- much like a restaurant. With people in uniform (sea-green aprons) working. Hanging from above that area were brown signs with dark brown lettering. They detailed the kinds of massage/spa treatments you could buy.

When I first looked at the sign I thought I saw "Sex and Massage" as one of the plans and I thought "WTF KIND OF MASSAGE HOUSE IS THIS??" and then I took a second glance and realized it was "Single-Sex Massage Rooms" for those that wanted to be alone and "Shared-Sex Massage Rooms" for the couples. I wasn't sure what Emily wanted. We ere just friends, and being gay I don't think she had to feel weird about sharing a massage room with me.

Emily and I ordered "The Works" which means we'd get pretty much everything, Massages, Facials, Mud Baths, and whatever else the place had. They told us to wait so they could prepare their facilities for us and we sat down at the table.

A heavyset woman with short-graying hair wearing the uniform came out and places trays in front of us. Explaining that lunch was complimentary since we paid for the big Spa package. Both trays had a really disgusting-looking upside-down burger and some side-dishes I can't remember.

I don't eat hamburgers, or any red-meat, so I looked up at her and politely asked "do you guys have any dishes without red meat?"

She gave me a glare and said something REALLY rude. I think it went along the lines of "You fucking customers complain too much"

Appalled but amused at her anger, I just sat there and looked at Emily, who was equally in disbelief.

The woman walked out the side door out of the Spa saying "I'll be back! I need to get more supplies" We saw her walk out-of-view through the large windows.

So, sitting there, Emily and I started talking about random crap. Eventually, I realized: We hadn't even looked at the price of the spa package we purchased!! Aren't these things really expensive??

I told her this and she was shocked too. I pulled out my walet and only had $50, so did she. We looked back up at the brown menu-like signs and saw that our deal costs $1500.

We start to panic - they're already preparing the facilities for us and we can't pay!! We look around, making sure nobody is looking at us so we can slip out of the Spa. We see someone approaching through the windows and we thought it was that scary fat lady again, so we panic more and wait. It was some old man who worked here, and he walked to a back room somewhere.

Relieved, Emily and I ran out the door.

The dream ended. I woke up.

      --------------------

      Bookstores

I was in Borders, the kids section.

There were a LOT of books missing from this area. It seemed like someone ransacked the place.

As I was looking around, stumbling over piles of books strewn across the floor, gasping at how and why anyone would do something like this, something in my pocket started to vibrate.

It was my cell phone, so I opened it to see a photo of a large children's book placed randomly in an adult book section. I scroll through my inbox to see more and more of similar photos.

"who the hell is sending me these?" I thought

And I got a call from someone I know in school, Russell. He laughs and tells me he's at Border's screwing around with children's books and putting them in random places in the store.

I ask him which Border's he is in, and he names one on the other side of town.

As I'm talking to him, I walk through the bookstore and around the corner of a bookshelf, I bump into him.

He was wearing a lot of blue

      Can't remember anything after this.

      Oh! yes I do.

So, we stood here talking for a while and eventually came on the subject of Dora the Explorer. He pointed at a large Dora The Explorer Sign on a pillar that said "Dora goes to Canada!" Dora in this sign had a glazed look in her eyes with saliva running down her mouth. It was freaky.

The next thing I know, I'm getting sucked into the sign and it starts the next dream.

      ---------------------

      Spanish Dancers

I was brought to a large grassy area. I was in one of those outdoor mazes with the tall-green bush walls. As I observed my surroundings, three brightly dressed (one in purple, one in orange, one in red) dancers popped out of a wall and started dancing .

They danced very well, able to bring their legs high up above their heads. They all smiled at me while doing it too, it was like watching a dance program on TV.

Then the started singing in Spanish. And as they sung, little spanish sing-a-long captions appeared in front of me and went along as they sung.

This went on for quite a while before I woke up.

It was an interesting night/morning. rofl.

ALL of these dreams were incredibly vivid. Especially the dancers' faces, I remember them so well, every curve, wrinkle, and feature of their face, it was incredibly detailed.

      The mind is so amazing.

I haven't been keeping up with my dream journal ONLINE but I HAVE been writing a bunch down I'll transfer them over here eventually.

I HAD ANOTHER LD LAST NIGHT!! SO HAPPY.

I remember, before going to bed I briefly came on DV and I don't even think I really read anything, I just looked around, logged off thinking "gosh It'd be sweet if I had a LD tonight." and I did!

I haven't yet succeeded at LDing when I TRY to, a lot of the time now, I just briefly think of how nice it would be to have a LD right before I go to bed and BAM! I have one, it's strange, and something to take note of

      The Jungle

      February 13, 2009

It was nighttime, and I was at my house.

I have a few guests over, friends I'm pretty sure. I didn't recognize any other them except one, one of my closest friends Brittany, and she was standing doing something on my computer at my desk.

I've never really had friends over at my place sicne moving here, and I think this was triggered because I'm going to have guests for the first time on Monday, so right off the bat when I noticed there were friends in my house I thought "well, this is odd."

I walked into my room, my walls are gray but I noticed they were a much darker shade of gray than they are IWL.

"wait a minute, friends in my house, darker walls, this isn't real!" I suddenly thought. Yay!

I looked to the window and decided to fly through it/go outside.

Immediately after flying through the window, I was DEEP in a jungle somewhere.

This wasn't a normal jungle though, instead of everything being realistic, it was cartoon-esque, like some kind of children's book. a LOT of brightly colored leaves and flowers everywhere. There were trees and vines hanging down all over the place.

I flew through the jungle for a little bit and began to fly up. I glanced down below me to see a bright yellow cartoon cat head looking back up at me.

I just stared at it as I flew higher and higher and one of it's eyes turned into an "x" then the other one also. so eventually it made a face 'ike: x_x like a dead cat, and for some reason that weirded me out.

I remember flying and teleporting to some other setting, but I forgot what exactly happened after the whole cat thing.

It was a fun dream though, but now I have to remember EXACTLY what I want to do in my LDs instead of just flying around.

Just because I'm conscious, doesn't mean I'm completely logical. So far I've just flown around exploring the area because that's the first the that comes to mind, I keep forgetting about superpowers, manipulating things, sex, and all that jazz. Need to work on that.

      Oh!
I just made another connection. I realized that I've been talking to people about the book, "The Jungle" a LOT over these past few days, so maybe that's why a jungle setting appeared in my dream. OF course, the topic of the book isn't about jungles at all, but I think the title triggered something.
