A bad start to college! Endurance of 17 hours!
Saturday 2nd August 2008
It was my first day of college, however before I headed there, I decided to visit a shop. Oddly, an old primary school friend, named Elora was with me. We browsed for a while, surveying the shelved fleetingly before leaving empty handed.
Later, I arrived at college; I sat down at a desk and I suddenly came to the unfortunate realisation that'd I hadn't brought a note book with me. I raised my hand and notified the teacher -- Giving me a stare of disappointment, she handed me an A5 piece of pink paper.
I began to grow extremely annoyed at myself for not picking a note book up at the shop I'd visited earlier.
Suddenly, the scene seemed to change into a different classroom. Two high school friends, Daryll and Ross were sat at one of the tables, and the teacher began to hand out A3 sheets of paper -- on them, a Geography puzzle. It was something involving measuring motorways which were indicated on the map with red lines.
I attempted the puzzle. I tried to measure it in every way I could think of but just couldn't do it. The teacher towered over me from behind and helped me with it.
Ross later mentioned the words, "big wave" which was, bizarrely, the answer to the puzzle. There was a huge answer box at the bottom of the sheet to write it in. Ross recieved praise and countless "well dones" for getting the answer.
I began to get worried again because I didn't have a note book -- the thought popped into my mind of leaving the school grounds and lunch time to go and pick one up from the shop.
I then turned around to my friend, Sarah who was sat next to me and asked her how many lessons we had that day.
To my horror, she replied, "17."
However, none of us had timetables to follow, and had no idea where we were supposed to be heading next.
And as if on cue, a woman walked in carrying a pile of A3 sheets with timetables printed on them. Promptly, she directed students to their classes. But for some reason, some students, including myself remained in that classroom.
My friend Larissa was sat on one of the chairs at a desk, and another friend, Kestrel was sat under the window, on the floor.
I continued to worry over having no note book, so I approached Kestrel and asked her for 5 sheets of A4 lines paper from her book.
She lifted up her pad, and on the first page there was a pencil drawing scribbled on it. She added a few more lines to it, and I gre frustrated because we didn't have much time before next lesson - we'd be late!
I hurried her and I got the paper.

Computer Troubles! I need some Privacy!
Saturday 2nd August 2008
In mine and my sister's bedroom there were 3 PC's -- two where they usually are, at opposite ends of the room, and a third in the middle of the room near our bunk bed, on the floor.
Stephanie was on one of them, I was on the other -- we were back to back, and no one occupied the one on the floor.
I was visiting various sites and writing word documents, looking behind me every now and then to see my sister.
Something then happened to my computer and it suddenly logged out. Confused, I logged back in and the third computer was now on. It had two small, minimised wondows opened in the middle of the desktop.
I moved the cursor on the computer I was using, then looked around to the other computer -- it was mimicking the cursor movement I was making on the computer I was actually using! Anything I did, any files or sites I looked at all appeared on the other computer.
I attempted to rectify the problem. Something popped up to notify something was being installed but oddly, it wasn't in English, eveything but the words, "I agree" were written in something like Japanese Kanji or Chinese.
I clicked on random options to see what would happen.
I then said to Stephanie, "It wants me to install something."
To which Stephanie replied, "You best just close it, then."
