A Nocturnal Hiatus

Cave in the room... Full of ice. Something about my wife and I going down there on our anniversary. She was upset about it. I was standing in line somewhere without a shirt. I was embarrassed to be shirtless yet proud to display my tattoo.

I'm at Buffalo Wild Wings, in the bar with my wife. I start talking to a guy about something. I look back for my wife and see she and her friend have left. I start out to look for her. BWW's morphs into to food court at the mall which eventually morphs into that same hospital I always dream about which eventually morphs into some apartments with in the hospital. Apartments for the terminally ill? I wander through the apartments and they become like a maze as I move from room to room I get disoriented. I meet a man and he asks if there are enough windows. I notice there is only one in the whole apartment and I say "not for me". He agrees and argues with his wife about it. Then he tells her he must talk about it outside because there are no windows. I take that as my opportunity to find a way out. When we get outside I notice it has suddenly morphed into my in laws front porch. I see my wife pull up in the drive and I angrily confront her.

I only remember something about playing football against zombies. A direct result from watching I am legend and Gameplan in the same night.

I was swimming in a river in the jungle with my wife. Suddenly snake of all types where there in the water and all over the banks. Got out of the water and ran away I tripped on a large python. I remember that the snake felt very warm to the touch. For some reason this dream reminds me of a place I dreamed about a long time ago about a huge tree house in the middle of a forest that I lived in.

I shot my cat with a shotgun. For some reason I thought I had to get rid of it. It did not die though. I could see copper BB's of all sizes imbeded in its side. Then the cat had no fur and I was looking at BB's in human flesh it was a small child. I still thought it was my cat and I wanted to use some tax return to take it to the vet. I felt horrible for what I did. For some reason I was begging my Mom to let me take it to a vet. Then I was driving down a road along side a river with a boy that wanted to shoot his BB gun Suddenly I was in a gym. There was a woman in front of me with weird tattoos about baseball and I missed my wife because she was in the military.

I was Bartholomew the Apostle and I was sitting with someone in a outer corner of a blue stone building. We were upset because Jesus was going back to heaven. I saw something in the sky like a sausage on a balloon. I cried for Jesus to come back and I heard a thud on the roof. I started to climb a ladder to see what was on the roof and I heard Jesus say that he was there. I climbed down but I could not see him, He said he was in the corner of the building. I pointed and asked if he was right there. My friend with me said he was a little higher up. I could not see him and I wondered If I was still his friend. I felt like I backslid. Then I caught a vision of Jesus' myspace page and saw that I was still on his friend list but I wasn't in the top 12. (This is when I knew I was Barth because I was looking for my name) For some reason I thought I would look it up later and see if Samuel was on there. Then I remembered what I was doing and I could see in many way but I had to go out of my body in spirit to do so. So I went just slightly outside my body as not to die and I still could not see Jesus. Then I switched my eyes through various light spectrum and finally to infrared and I could see a glowing orb in the spot were Jesus was. I got on my knees to worship him when I woke up.

The one about having to pee and the urinal was on a wall in an office. The women laughing. Then I'm in the parking lot in my car. Carrie showed up and we looked for movies. Something about a map and traveling north. Lots of snow and Ice.

I dreamed that my boss forced us to work extra over time. It was supposed to be to 5:30PM. Then he took us out of the plant and to a remote location. We had an hour meeting about I dont know what and I noticed that is was 5:30AM. I got so pissed that I told him off and I left. I noticed that It there was morning light and the sun was fully up (I should have seen that DREAM SIGN). I briefly thought it was morning already and I would only get and hour sleep. I get in my car to drive off when I wake up.

I was in a river with my wife and some of my family. I saw a rock formation that looked climbable. I climbed to the top with my wife. It was very fast and very easy but fairly high. I look down and then to the other side. The other side had stairs. I was wtf is this crap. I was joking. I knew they were there. The rock felt like solid rubber under my feet and felt a little bouncy when I stepped. I went down the stairs to some sort of ancient structure. gets a little fuzzy here. Dreams changes. I see a man that I think I know. He starts breathing fast and heavy and looking like the zombie/vampires from I Am Legend. I decide that he now has to die and I fight him and start pulling his limbs off. There is blood. I can remember no more.

I was in a casino and I played a machine. My wife told me her technique to win. It was odd and crazy but I won a million dollars. The machine had something to do with catching tokens. I used the digital camera and some plastic tube. It did not make sense. The alarm when off and the lights flashed. I stood there in shock. The casino works came to clean up the tokens that had fallen all over the floor. I understood that I had to wait for my check. I talked with Rachel of all we would use the money for and we agreed to keep it a secret from our families. I was so glad I was going to be debt free. It was the most amazing feeling to win a million dollars. While I was waiting I had some conflict with someone I was once friends with. Out friendship ended bitterly but the conflict was trivial. Then the casino worker came back and told me my ID was a fake and I could would not be able to claim my money. I looked at the ID and it was a picture of Bart Simpson that said age 10. The 10 was crossed out and had 11 written in. I cried bitterly for a long time.

I had another weird abstract train dream. I also had the usual back in school and lost and confused about classes.

I was helping my wife clean a business when some of the employees annoyed me. For some reason my oldest daughter was there acting up as well. I took her with me and left. As I was driving down the road I realized that I never told my wife I was leaving and she would need a ride home. I made a U-turn and started back when I realized that she drove her truck. So I decided just to go home. The dream shifted and I was suddenly parked in front of the duplex. I got out and stood outside (to smoke maybe?). I looked at the sky and noticed it was broad daylight. I looked at the clock in the car and saw it was 2:45 and I had to be in the AM because my wife cleans late at night. It could have been a Sunday but for reason I new in my dream that it was definitely early morning and it should be dark. I thought about this and then I realized I must be dreaming. I ask myself this question but said no because I didn't remember going to bed. Stupid I know but it made sense. I didn't think to do an RC I guess I need to start those again since I missed a major dream sign. I look at a neighbors pinkish colored house that does not exist in real life and saw that the top story had huge plate glass windows covering one side. There was and entire family up there painting some thing far away. That house in my dreams gives me chills now that I think about it because I started Duma Key and that seen is in my mind from the book before I read it! Only in the book it is only one crippled man painting and not an entire family and funny enough he sometimes paints the future. Me, I just dream it. Well, parts of it I suppose... not that strange. It happens when I pay attention to my dreams. Coincidence? Maybe... probably but I like think precognitive dreams are possible. Maybe I just read too much fiction?

Well not going into a lot of detail in this one because it is long and vivid and I wrote it down in some notes already today. Basically I there was some sort of military conflict I was a player like a video game. then the war abruptly ended and I wandered to the battlefield. I found this strange looking jet pack thing. It like some sort of pod that you opens up and you sit in it and the shield closes over you but your feet dangle and there is no floor. In sight is like a cockpit with a HUD and there are handle bars like a motorcycle for the throttle. I flew around and had fun but it was low on gas and sputtered a lot. I had a hard time controlling. Finally I flew high in the night sky and above the clouds I saw a full bright moon and then the machine sputtered and I came down to a burger king I bobbed along the roof top and power line and the people below freaked and thought I was an alien UFO. Then I landed. It was day time now. I saw the same type of jet pack in the distance and yes it looked like a UFO. It landed. I thought to ask the people over there what type of fuel to put in. They acted afraid and did not want to answer. I tried to explain that I "inherited" the jet pack and knew little about it. They got in a elevator on the outside of a building and left. I saw a prison and I did something... kind of fuzzy... but I think I just took a picture of someone and they guard came out and put me in jail. There were men and women around and smoking. I got sad because my wife never visited me. I started to cry.

Something about working on a laptop for some reason. I had it memorized and then it slipped away when I got up.

So it seems that my wife is a dream sign will quietly do RC every time I am around her. They daylight at night and strange star formation are old ones but still prominent. Think I will RC when I look in the sky. Cell phone not working right - Happens a lot in real life but will do RC when I notice that or when I use it. others: winning money, trains, back in school, my oldest daughter, and seeing people who have already died. Tried to WILD last night and took melatonin. Seemed to boost recall and I should have LD'd. Will try the same with dream signs in mind tonight.

I was sitting in the truck in wal-mart parking lot. I was waiting for my wife to buy a last minute gift. I was very impatient. My bro and sis in law where waiting in there van. I tried to take a nap in the truck but my feet keep slipping through the steering wheel. my in laws leave so I park in front and get out. I see my mother in law coming out. I ask where my wife is and she tells me she is still inside. I yell something like what the hell and I go in Inside there are scantly clad women trying to learn seduction. I see the instructor get upset and tell them she will show them how. She starts stripping and moving around seductively. I see here move her panties to show her shaved private spot. I leave and continue to search for my wife I find her sorting through fabrics. We say something to each other but instead of being mad I sit and wait.

Not much to report. I was woken up by my wife during an early REM dream. It was really abstract and vague but it seems like I was dreaming that I was outside chatting with my wife and the wind blowing. The wind was loud and more fierce than it has been here lately but we didn't mind. I could see the wind behind her as straight angled and blurred lines like rain. I may recreate this with a little photo editing. When I woke up this morning I could only remember an emotion from a dream. I felt excited and at peace like I had been doing something that I love.

Ok im feeling lazy so ill give short, less detailed versions of the dreams from lastnight #1 My wife and I where in a place that felt like India. We were at a market place that sold some type of 6 to 8 inch peppers. You choose the pepper then they put in on a skewer and on a machine. It goes down the conveyor and get washed then over a jet of super hot steam to cook it. Then they take it off and chop it up and bag it with whatever type of spicy sauce you want. We chose several but saw some rare black ones. My wife wanted the biggest black one so we got it. It was $7.98. I was able to talk the man down to $3.25. We left feeling happy and relaxed while on our vacation and I felt that I had plenty of money. #2 I was in a tattoo parlor with J. He was asking about a special price on one from a friend that works there. I thought I could get a good price to get mine colored. I asked about it and some woman said she just got hers colored in and showed me. Then she started flirting with me but I was not interested and felt akward and uneasy since I am married. I left and found J. in the back with his buddy. Then we started smoking cigs and drinking beer. #3 I took a break at work but I came home. V. showed up while I was in my car and chatted with me. I wondered why she followed me. Then some courier from work drove by. We got worried that she would tell on us and start some kind of rumor. We left and I found my boss outside washing some railing. She said nothing to me. #4 I was at work but came home to change my clothes. I walked back in my underwear. I felt uncomfortable but had seen another person do it so I acted like it was no big deal. Then suddenly I was dressing in a pair for shorts I wear to bed and a t-shirt.

#1 a skeleton pops out at me when I go to the bathroom at my house. I was startled. A friend takes off his mask. It was a prank. I laugh but get creeped out because he had to have been in my house for a few hours and I didnt want to think my friend broke in my house and spied on me just to scare me. #2 I was working at a meat packing plant. I am the only one actually working. Then I see Peter P. from heroes. Someone cut him on the hand and I watch as his hand heals and the wound appears on the one that cut him. Then Peter shakes and I try to hold him. Someone takes him away to help him and I walk into an office that has a bed in it. There are people having foursome sex. They pause to look at me and I stop to look at them. I shrug and get on a work computer to input some data in a spreadsheet. I hear them moaning and having sex. I decied I cant work there and start to leave. I wake up. I wonder if I had wanted to have sex with one of the women and I go back into the dream. She tells me no and I say sorry because it was wrong. I am married. I feel disoriented and I start to leave. My dad walks in. He is wearing a suit and tells me I should leave to say with my mother. He starts taking off his suit as I begin to argue with him. Then the alarm goes off and I wake up.

Was looking at fish to buy for aquarium. Some were labled on the fish. One had babies Wanted to take google down. Thought it was a building downtown. Traveled there through computer. Realized it was prob in California and the guys are rich. walked home.

There was one dream where I had strange and stupid looking tattoos all over my arm and legs. I felt regret. Another dream I was masturbating and a freakishly large amout of semen shot out all over the place. I was returning a shirt to wal-mart and I was given a hard time about it. I had to follow a manager to the back and I was carrying my clothes and wearing only my underwear. I drove to a house across from the house my parents own. They were living there. I knew that some dead family members were visiting. I did not think about them being dead. I parked in front on the street and I wanted to put in some sunglass contacts. They were a hard plastic and where too small. I tried to put them in anyway. It rubbed on my eye and my eye momentarily changed to a kind of green color like when you press too hard on a LCD screen. I did not squint and it did not hurt. My dead uncle came to my window to see what I was doing but I did not look at him. I was too focused on my contacts.
