So I thought I'd start up a DJ, can't hurt! I'll exclude some of the more personal stuff (doesn't everyone?) but my recall is so crap I'll try anything.
30/01/2009 (that's right, British dates, get used to it )
Couple of fragments from last night, really nothing but every little helps I guess.
I'm walking across the downs (big range of hills near where I live), just getting to the top and I can't see for fog. I look down and my feet are getting stuck in pocked holes, rounded like a basketball has made them, in a kind of weird green sandy mud. It feels spongy, like a golf course green. I look up and I'm in a car, driving along the road which runs along the top of the downs. The sky looks golden and dusky up ahead but on the left where the town lies it's clear and stark, cold daylight - and on the right where the view stretches maybe 30 miles in all directions it's still hugely cloudy, like a layer of clouds sitting at the level of the hills. I can occasionally see out across the top of them and they stretch on as far as I can see, like the view from an aeroplane.
I have seen the clouds do that, only once, it was such a strange day. Like being stranded on the shore of a huge sea of fog.
Woke up at about 3 by the cats coming in, climbing all over me and purring loudly (translation: "feed me something which isn't dry food!"), got up to pee then tried to FILD. Was kind of half-arsed though, it just seemed like a massive chore and I couldn't be bothered thinking whether or not I was doing it right. Stupid 3am brain
That'll do for a start I guess, sorry it's not more coherent but hopefully given time I'll get some remembered narratives going.
