      Lifeinsteps' Dream Journal.

Ah, a dream journal, the best companion of any avid LD chaser out there. Here's where mine starts, I hope you have some time read it. (Me Talking)
      Normal Dreams
      Semi Lucid
      Lucid. I hope so.

1st dream - (Absolutely nothing. Nothing at all, I slept for 3 hours and didn't remember even falling asleep. Ah well, here goes nothing tonight.)

That night - (Eh, lots of trouble, nothing happening, not even regular dreams. I think that it may just be something about the fact that I'm just not so tired lately. I'm falling asleep simply on the will of wanting to have an LD. I'm trying to do an RC at least once every 30 minutes or whenever something even mildly strange happens. I'm not sure, but whenever I do manage to find myself in an LD, I'm sure it will be an experience worth waiting for again. Practice, practice, practice. Something I learned from Psionics...)

(I woke this morning not remembering anything about dreaming, and so figured I hadn't dreamed, then I realized when looking at the rabbit cage, that my dream had something about) her jumping straight up in the air, and me catching her, and putting her back in the cage and trying to put the top on it, but the top was too small, and so all the sudden I was sticking encyclopedias in the cage to keep her in. (Why in the world did I not get lucidity on this dream?)

The first fragment I can remember is walking around in my drive way discussing video games with my next door neighbor. (He is little, and has no educated opinion about games,) so I began to yell at him in frustration for some reason.

(The second fragment, which is also the most vivid one I recall,) was that I got a new mp3 player. (The one I have now is blue, and has a rubber casing on it.) It was red, rounded on top, it kind of looked like the top of a subway sandwich turned sideways. I got home in a way I cannot remember, and ended up somehow walking from my parents room to the kitchen, and as I was walking, I saw at least a good 6 inches of snow on the deck railing, (which would have been the only good snow this year... ) and was excited because I realized that when I woke up I would not have to go to school. (I realized that "WHEN I WOKE UP!" I would not have to go to school. I still did not attain lucidity somehow.) My dad then went to feed the dogs, and I followed him to the porch, talking about my new mp3 player, and at this point, I turn to go back in, and say something loudly to him as I'm stepping in the door. When I looked at my mp3 player, it already had my songs on it. I did one of those cartoony double takes and it no longer had my songs on it. I walked over to the computer and plugged it in with my old chord, and began putting some music on it.

(The third one is a full dream...)Me and my dad were in the Pharmacy, and he began to throw things in the cart, (which is odd, because he won't take any form of medicine) saying that if I took these or used them before I went to bed, my lucid dreaming would advance tenfold. We're walking to the counter, when suddenly, I wake up.

(I think that is is somewhat possible that my dad is my dream guide, he seems to be in near every dream I have.)

(This morning I decided I would come back to my attempts at Lucid Dreaming. I apologize for leaving for so long anyone who was actually reading this.) An acquaintance of mine from school was at my house. I put some socks on, just because that's how I am. My dad (I'm thinking he may be my dream sign.) had cooked a giant plastic bin full of hot dogs, which looked decently appetizing. I asked her if she wanted to play a game or something, I had Left 4 Dead in mind. She never answered, but walked over to the sliding glass door and walked out, so I followed. She jumped off the porch, turning into some sort of mix between a fox and a dog, with blonde hair. She ran down into the woods and I followed her halfway, when she ran back up in human form, saying, "I expected there to be a ramp down there..."

The next dream of that night, Steve, from fox and friends was interviewing the head of the company making a new Tom Clancy game, titled "Ghost Warrior." Original title my mind came up with, huh? I was playing the game, that way they could show gameplay while he interviewed the company head. I swept into my next dream.

Another person I go to school with was sitting beside me in my Geometry class, telling me (in the most garrulous way possible) about how her boyfriend broke up with her, because she said something back to him about something he said. She said that he said that he couldn't wait to break up with him again. Suddenly we were on the bus. I woke up.

I was with my dad and my brother. My brother pushed me and I fell into a patch of chocolate rabbits. I pulled one out. They were for me and him, don't ask me why, but they were labeled a specific date, September 7, 08. Suddenly, things kind of flashed into a sitcom of some sort. I bit a piece of chocolate from one of the rabbits. I remember that the taste was really, really good. I never realized that in dreams, things could be so... I can't think of a word. Nonetheless, the girl's accent I couldn't identify, but she was wearing a grey beret.

      Finish later.

      September the 7th 2008...

Do you have a personal waking life journal? Check back to that date, because this sounds really interesting...
