SilverWolf: Into the Depths of Dreamland

Welcome dreamers, I am not new to lucid dreaming, though I never knew what it was before. I have been practicing this since I can remember. Most of the time even though I can control my dreams I don't want to. For the dreams that i remember I am always aware or become aware that I am dreaming. I have never had anyone to share my dreams with and am very excited to have found this site.

      Little House in the Woods

This is a dream I had some time ago. I have since had several other dreams about the house. I thought that it would be a great place to start.
      <o:p> </o:p>
      Dream:
I opened my eyes to a forest. I was sitting next to a small stream. I stood and looked around. I was in a small clearing with what looked (if you squinted right) like a path going up a hill, away from the stream.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I followed the path and when I reached the top of the hill I could see the back of a small house nestled in a patch of heavy forest. The path became clearer as it came up to a small gate. On the other side of the gate was a small garden full of flowers I could not remember what each was called but they were so pretty I had to touch one. I reached out almost expecting paint to come off onto my fingertips.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I blinked, this wasn’t real. There where no bugs I looked around for some and didn’t see any. (This is my biggest gripe with nature I don’t like creepy bugs. So when they where not there I notice.)
      <o:p> </o:p>
I walked into the house. It was strange, I knew it. I knew where everything would be, as if I not only had been here before, but lived here; in this strange house.
      <o:p> </o:p>
But that wasn’t right, I kept thinking. I was losing focus. My surroundings started to lose color and become blurry with my confusion. I heard what sounded like a growl come from behind me. I spun and shut the door as fast as I could and woke with a start at the noise of the door slamming shut.

Cross dresser wedding dream or where the hell is that yellow dress?

I am trying to post my dreams in order of which I had them, even if I can not post them the next morning. So don't be surprised if I post nothing and then several at once. thanks

      October 19, 2009 <o:p> </o:p>
I was watching a changing room. (I was not actually there. No one talked to me nor did I interact with them. It was more like watching a scene in a video game where you can change your point of view, though I had no control of mine) It looked like a normal mother/daughter getting ready for the girl to get marred. Looking for the back of an earring that was dropped, doing her hair, fussing out wrinkles in the dress; except both where cross dressers.<o:p>

      </o:p><link rel="File-List" href="file:///C:%5CDOCUME%7E1%5CADMINI%7E1%5CLOCALS%7E1%5CTemp%5 Cmsohtml1%5C01%5Cclip_filelist.xml"><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <wunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <wontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><style> <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} --> </style><!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} </style> <![endif]--> All of a sudden they where talking really fast and I couldn’t understand the words but I knew the bride’s dress had broken he left shoulder strap and so they where looking for another dress that he could wear. I was thinking that they needed to go to the car because there was a yellow dress there. Somehow hearing my thoughts, when no one else was, the bride was saying over and over again ‘but I cant be married in yellow!’ the people who had appeared to help them look where now looking at him like he was crazy but they still did not see me. I woke wondering what drugs I had taken before I slept, or if I should take something now that I was awake.<o:p></o:p>

Why am I dreaming about work

Why am I dreaming about work I'm there enough as it is.
      October 24, 2009
      <o:p> </o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was at work and that was not odd to me. For some reason I didn’t mind I was just content to runaround like crazy doing the things I normally do. Cashiering people who where just slightly annoyed but not to the point where they were yelling, yet.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was just getting used to the idea of working when I notice that I was in my pajamas. ‘Ok that’s a little strange’ I thought. ‘I hope I don’t get fired for that,’ and then I realized it was a dream, if it wasn’t a dream I would have been sent home as soon as someone saw me and here I was and it was ok. So I thought I would try a test like Allison always talks about. Someone ordered cigarettes, two Marlboro mental ultra lights shorts in a box, so indeed of walking around to get them I just thought I wanted them in my hand. In a second or two there they were and I knew it was defiantly a dream.
      <o:p> </o:p>
Then my old assistant manager was there ‘working’, it was more like wandering around on the phone in my way (though I keep using my new ability to help me out). I was just abut to stop working and because it was a dream, hit him. (He is known as the ass-sistant manager because of what an ass he is. We used to be friends till he got promoted and now cannot have friends at work.) I no longer work at his store and for some reason he was working at mine so I figured I would get away with it even if it wasn't a dream.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was turning to go hit him and the power went out, all the registers died and I still had a line of about eight people. I told them that they had to leave it would be about fifteen minutes for the computers to comeback online. Most of them left but this one woman came up and was trying to give me money for gas I told her no but she would not listen. We started arguing, the ass-sistant came up and joined the argument but on her side. I was so mad I shoved him away and tried to walk to the door. He fell down but she followed me with a cup of coffee. She told me I could not leave or she would stop me. I laughed and said I was dreaming so there was nothing she could do to me. She threw the cup of coffee at me; I filched expecting it to be hot but it wasn’t. I laughed at her smug look on her face.
      <o:p> </o:p>
Suddenly I was outside the store standing with two police officers and Michelle (a coworker of mine). She was trying to tell the cute officer about something and was trying to walk away with him. I didn’t want that so I grabbed his arm and trying to tell him about the ass-sistant and the crazy woman with the coffee. Both officers where looking confused. I then looked at Michelle and noticed that she had burns where the coffee was thrown at me. So I stopped talking and let Michelle finish my story. I woke as the officers where arresting the ass-sistant manager, wondering why I dream of work so much.

Nice DILD! :bravo: And it must have been fun to watch that ass-istant manager get dragged away in cuffs!

You know that Raven and I had a shared dream: Base Jumping in drag. I was in a wedding dress.

Congratulations on that DILD. That's funny.

I was in the cottage. Why did I always end up here when I dreamed now? Oh is this a dream? I thought. I decided to levitate and see if I could I jumped in the air and came back with a thud. That’s weird I thought I should be able to. I looked around the room I was in it was a long rectangle with a door from the hall and two others around the room.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I sat down on the middle of a large rug in the middle of the room. It was dark so I had to squint to see the outline of a pentacle. Around that was a circle of salt. I decided it was best if I didn’t leave the circle. So got comfortable and think about whether I was dreaming or not. I could not make up my mind.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I heard a soft growl from the hall. I felt a presence come towards me. I knew it was a wolf. My heart stared to race and I started to panic. I went though a circle which I could not see before. It shimmered as the wolf passed through it. It started to pass the circle of salt. I backed up trying to get as far away as I could. It did a funny little hop over the salt. It came towards the circle of the pentacle growling and circling. It crouched for a pounce and as it leapt at me I woke with a jolt.
      <o:p> </o:p>
This dream was very scary for me. I had to get up and could not go to bed for at least four hours. I had to have much Sims therapy.

      Off to See the Wizard.

Little House in the Woods III: Off to See the Wizard.
      <o:p> </o:p>
      October 26, 2009
      <o:p> </o:p>
I became aware in the middle of putting a glass jar on a shelf. It had a label written in neat bold handwriting. Not mine I thought. I finished setting in down with several others. I read the tags; they were all strange things like unicorn dust (which was a bluish jar with glowing powder), eggplant marrow (clear jar with slimy greenish stuff), and a baby’s laugh (yellow jar with nothing I could see in it).
      <o:p> </o:p>
I heard a soft chuckle from my left. I looked over my shoulder to see a young woman sitting a large desk. She was very short with a slight build. She flipped one of her long brown pigtails over her shoulder and rolled her golden eyes. “You finally made it back. I was going crazy watching you wander around here muttering the strangest things.” She said in a soft musical voice.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I looked around I was in the cottage from my other dreams. “I’m dreaming?” I asked her but before she could answer I thought I was thirsty and a small handmade glass appeared in my hands. I took a sip and spit it out when the hot disgusting liquid burned my tongue.
      <o:p> </o:p>
Pixy laughed, “You never get that one right.” I made a face at her. She jumped off the desk and skipped across the room to a large chest. “I almost have everything ready.” She said as she pulled a cloak out and hung it on a mannequin. It was dark blue with purple trim and stars and constellations all over making it glitter in the light.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I started to walk over to get a better look when I noticed the rug on the floor. It was of a big pentacle like the last time I had been in this room but now each elemental point had elaborate embroidery. I stepped in the middle and noticed that each element pointed to something around the room; Air to a window with stained glass, Earth to a large wooden door, Fire to the fireplace, Water to another door this one small and metal covered in designs, Spirit to an alter that had a very large mirror next to it. It all seemed right somehow.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I walked over to the big worktable next to Pixy. “I think I got everything on your list.” She grinned. I gave a small smile as I stared to make a housewarming basket. “It must be so exciting to be meeting a god.” She prattled on then blushed, “I hear he’s very hansom.” I sighed; I didn’t think I was going to be able to be here very much longer. When I told her this she exclaimed “But you’ll be late!”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“If I went now he would think I was crazy.” I said and then was off in another dream that I don’t remember but I kept thinking of who was I going to visit anyway.

Pixy is the girl that lives there. I don't really know much else about her but that she helps me and is very childish.

      Dream Running.

      Dream Running.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I have had variations on this dream for about fourteen years now. Each time I do, I wake wishing that it was real. This one starts with a beginning that I haven’t had since I was around thirteen. Most of them start in the middle and are much longer.

I am in a forest. I’m lost and it’s dark. I walk in the direction of the moon because it’s easy to find in the sky. I hear a growl from behind me. I spin in the direction.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I hear laughter and a deep feminine voice saying “Foolish little girl, coming out here to be eaten by wolfs. Is it that you have a wish for death? I can easily grant that wish for you; if you want?”
      <o:p> </o:p>
I stand my ground, give a shaky smile and say “No thank you. When I wish for death, I do not need help.” She thinks this is the funniest thing anyone has said to her in a while. I wonder how I can hear her thoughts.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I see a big silvery wolf fade into view. “It’s not hard,” she thinks at me. “You just have to focus and not have your head full of fluff. Which I admit is hard to find a human girl whose head isn’t full of fluff. You’ll do.”
      <o:p> </o:p>
Do for what? I think. She leaps at me. I start to run. She pounces and just as I’m knocked down on the ground and I feel her weight on top of me she disappears. “Did you really think I would have left you?” she chuckles in my head. “I will be here as long as it amuses me.”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“What if I still need you?”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“If you’re so worried about that, then find another to protect you from him!” she snaps back. I feel her shake out her fur like shaking off bad memories. I know she keeps them from me but I don’t know why. “Let’s go, while the moon is still out!” she snaps impatiently.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I sigh that’s what I was doing how did I forget? I walk up to a clearing near a stream and see a big rock. I can remember that I thought. I feel her annoyance at the fact that I still don’t trust her to bring me back to the same place. I strip and carefully fold my clothing up, hiding it in a hollow by the rock.
      <o:p> </o:p>
And change. The only way I can describe it is I put fur on, when I change back I put skin on. So I put fur on and we ran. Running through streams and forest; enjoying the feel of wind in my fur and the sight of the moon. She stops on a hill to howl.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“What is the point of that? I’ve never gotten it; for you I mean. You’re the only wolf of your kind right why howl if there is no one to answer?” She growls at me thinking no talk just feel and so I do.
      <o:p> </o:p>
      We run some more.

      Trip though the Mirror

      Trip though the Mirror
      <o:p> </o:p>
      October 27
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was in and out of lucidity on this dream so I wasn’t able to control much. I don’t know how much was a dream like most I have that are random and how much was real. Real dreams to me can seem more real than real life but I still know I’m dreaming
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was walking in the forest. It was peaceful and I was collecting flowers and seeds and anything that caught my eye. Pixy ran up behind me laughing. She was being chased by a butterfly. I smiled. “We should get going.” I told her.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Really?” she wined she was having fun.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“You can stay if you want.” I told her. She shook her head.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“You can’t go by yourself you know that.” I was confused; why couldn’t I? I was safe here. I always had been. I suddenly remembered my dream with the wolf. Ha I thought let anyone try anything I was ready. We walked back to the cottage and into the workroom. I put the things that I had colleted on the table. I see my basket and cloak waiting by the full length mirror.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I went towards it looking at the details. There are moons and strange markings around the frame. Pixy follows me in and while I am standing looking at the mirror puts the cloak over my shoulders. It is heavy. I take the basket and step in the center of the rug.
      <o:p> </o:p>
Closing my eyes I think of where I’m going. I want to go to the moon. I want to see Raven and the others at the moon. I open my eyes. The mirror does not reflect my image anymore. I do not see the moon though and this confuses me. I see jungle and people milling about a small village. There is a large building in the background that they all seem to hold in awe. The image changes to that of a throne room. I shrug and walk through the mirror.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I enter the room. There was a big cat-man sitting on the throne. “I am Lord of nothing and I rule the land of nowhere!” he stated. There were other people but I didn’t get to really look at who they were. He pointed to one of them in a gray robe and intruded him but I don’t remember as what. He faded from my vision. I shook my head. I didn’t feel right here. Everything changed the big cat-man was now more cat than man and the type of cat changed too. I felt dizzy.
      <o:p> </o:p>
Allison walked up to him but she looked like a big spotted cat in armor. I shook my head. I’ve been reading too many of her dreams I thought. The cat-man asked if she would stay and join the fun that was his court. I could not hear her words but their meaning was translated in my head as *uck you.
      <o:p> </o:p>
He turned to me. I tried a small smile. “This is for you.” I said quickly as I tossed the basket at him. It landed next to the throne rite side up and nothing spilled out. I was seeing so many colors I was trying to name them all but could not. I started to panic.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Must I do everything?” I heard an annoyed deep voice in my head. I cringed. Why did she have to show up too? I thought. “Put on my fur.” She said.
      <o:p> </o:p>
So I did changing with a quick “Excuse me, but bye.” I leaped for the mirror. I somehow realized that I would not be able to go back through it right before we hit it.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“HA!” she exclaimed in my head. As soon as my paw touched it I was blinked back to the cottage. I fell in a heap on the rug tangled in the cloak and back in my skin. I had lost my clothing somewhere on the way and did not care as I jumped up and ran to the mirror.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I grabbed one side of the big mirror and pulled with all my strength. It moved about a good inch. I tried for a second time and it moved even less. I was getting frustrated. I called Robert (a friend of mine who when we moved complaned that the bookcases I have where too light and I should have left the books in them.) to me. He suddenly appeared in a ninja outfit and said something about a girl he had to save. I told him I didn’t care and that he could go back to that if he helped me. For some reason I still did not care that I had no clothing (for me it’s very strange I am almost always am covered).
      <o:p> </o:p>
We picked up the mirror without much difficulty. Really he did I just held on to my side trying to pretend that I was being useful. “That won’t do anything.” Came the voice in my head.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Shut up!” I shouted. Robert and Pixy gave me worried looks. I (well Robert) carried the mirror out the door that was labeled by the rug earth. The door opened to a large garden surrounding a castle. I didn’t stop to look around at my surrounding much. Robert put it down by a well. I took the grate off and pushed as hard as I could. The mirror flipped into the well knocking me flat on my ass on top of some flowers. I heard it fall and crash at the bottom with a weird mix of splashing water and breaking glass. I let out a big sigh.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Um…..” Robert stated to say before he suddenly disappeared. I got up dusting the dirt and random flower bits off me. It didn’t really help. I walked back through the door thinking I would like a bath and some clean clothes.
      <o:p> </o:p>
When I walked into the room though there was the mirror back it its spot looking just as unbroken as when I first saw it. The big silver wolf was next to it almost rolling on the floor with laughter. I gave up.
      <o:p> </o:p>
The next thing I remember is a dream about a school where I told some girl her hair made her look fat and the teacher’s ass looked better without pants.

      Wow!

I thought I might be that wizard/god you were going to see. Funny that you titled that entry, "off to see the wizard," because I am going to have a green curtain like the wizard of Oz, just to be silly.

That is amazing that you have a storyline in dreams, a second life. I wonder where Pixy heard I was handsome? haha.

That is so cool that you made it to the Temple, and thank you for your basket of nothing.

I like the way you write. It reminds me of a lot of the fairy tales I used to read when I was a kid.

I am looking forward to sharing dreams with you more and more.

      Who is the silver wolf?

I have a vague recollection of this dream. I think I thought you were a different person.

The person in introduced is probably Sarnox, but it may have been Selene.

This is going in the shared dreams thread.

Wow... so you made it to the moon! And Allison was there, too? But what happened to you there? Is that silver wolf a kind of guide or guardian? Even so, that seems like a big step!

So to update this dream... My old manager came into my work today (September 29) to chat. Apparently on the 23rd, the ass-sistant was written up and is an inch from being fired. Not as good as watching him get arrested but better than nothing.

Someone said that they could not see the post so here it is again.

I was at Raven's and hearing her description of the cottage threw me off. Allison said that it was so different because everyone sees things from a different point of view. But I still was thinking about it when i fell asleep. <o:p>
      </o:p>
I was in a bath tub without knowing how I got there. I threw my hands across my chest and ducked quickly into the water, splashing most of it over the side with my sudden movement. I poked my head over the rim and realized I was alone in the room. I was also not naked. Who takes a bath in their swim suit I thought. Then giggled in the Sims 3 the never nude Sims did.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I stepped out and pulled a fluffy towel from the shelf on the wall. Drying off I thought I would try to spin and see if I changed clothes too. I did. So it’s a dream I thought or I’ve been turned into a Sim. SWEATNESS! I did a little happy dance it event went to a little song. (I remember it but will not be posting it because I want to keep some dignity.)
      <o:p> </o:p>
Now that I knew I was dreaming, only because I didn’t see how I could have turned into a Sim. I decided to look around and maybe find out where I was. The bathroom was small and old-fashioned; there was a big tub in the center and a stand with a bowl and a pitcher of water that was a sink to the far side. There was no sign of plumbing and I wondered how it worked. There where two doors. One solid wood the other more of a curtain. Behind the second was the potty. I was surprised it had modern plumping.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I went through the other door, to a small bedroom. The floor space was mostly taken up by a huge wood framed bed and a small dressing table next to an armoire off to the side. The windows looked out to a forest. What was I thinking when I fell asleep? I couldn’t remember. Was I at the cottage?
      <o:p> </o:p>
It suddenly came rushing back to me. I needed to find Pixy and have her explain why my cottage was so small. Or why everyone said it was and I remembered it being bigger. I ran to the door that I figured went to the hall. There was a door across from me and one at the end of the hall. I pulled open the one across from me. It was the workroom that I mostly find myself in. now there was a set of chairs and a small table instead of a desk, the fireplace was bigger, and there was a small bed in along the far wall. Had that been there before? I went back to the hall. The door at the end of the hall must go to the garden I thought.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I went the other way, down the hall, and it opened up to a small living room-kitchen area. There was a big wooden table that could seat a small army. Pixy was busy in the kitchen and her finished work was all over the table. “What are you doing? Are we planning on feeding an army?” I asked.
      <o:p> </o:p>
She looked over and giggled “No. I just was planning on making some food for your friends when they come by. Though the lucid tea it a good idea, I thought that they might want something to go with it.” She said as she pulled something out of the oven. It smelled like banana bread. Great! I thought. Now I’m hungry.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“So you made all this?” I said pointing to the pile that looked like it could feed everyone I knew.
      <o:p> </o:p>
She looked sheepish “I got kind of carried away.”
      <o:p> </o:p>
I flipped my hand at the food. “That is alright will find something to do with it. Now I need to talk to you before I forget.” I walked over to the fire and sat in a comfy chair (after grabbing a fresh piece of banana bread). Pixy followed looking worried, like she had dome something wrong. She sat on the carpet right in front of the hearth. As I chewed (it was really good) I looked around. I noticed there was a winding staircase in the corner. It had two floors? Why? If it was just Pixy and me, I shook my head.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Why does the cottage change so much whenever I comeback?’ I asked.
      <o:p> </o:p>
She laughed. “Did you forget? You made it so people could change it. What ever they need is here even their own room upstairs. Though I must admit you are very picky about the downstairs. Anytime it is changed you wake up here and change it right back. It is a little annoying.” I sunk further into my chair. Oh was all I could think. “Have you seen the baby’s room yet?” she asked. Baby’s room? I put my hand over my stomach and shook my head. I didn’t feel like looking at anything to do with babies. I was going to get up and maybe start another dream. Should I go for a run? I thought right at there was a loud bang (from a movie that Allison was watching) and woke.

I might be posting more today. Sorry this one is so late. I have not been feeling well and Allison has been sick; which limits my ability to do more than watch movies or play games with Allison.

That is funny and amazing at the same time.

It's true that our dreamscapes change by others simply viewing it.

I have wondered about making babies in dreams.

I am looking forward to the feast. Do you remember making the lucidi-Tea?

      War Games

      War Games.
      <o:p> </o:p>
      November 2, 2009
      <o:p> </o:p>
This one really bothered me. It wasn’t too scary at first up I kept waking up and when I went back to sleep I would go straight back to the dream. It was like I could not get away from it. War-Bringer has already come back in another one of my dreams. I will try to get that one up tomorrow but I also try to type them up in order so that I don't forget anything.

      <o:p> </o:p>
Someone was shaking my shoulder. Go ‘way. I thought. “Please mistress,” a voice begged. “You need to get up.” I heard a loud noise that sounded like someone had dropped something metal on a hard floor. As it clanked I rolled over and popped my eyes open in one move. The young man next to my cot let out a very unmanly noise that sounded like a strangled mouse. He straightened out his tunic and cleared his throat trying to get some dignity back.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was in a large tent. I was in a cot that was pushed up against the corner; there was a small seating area in the middle designated by a rug with lots of pillows and a small stove like thing. Two trunks and a pile of blankets where in the other corner: His sleeping spot? I shuddered. Wait I took a closer look at him up then down he blushed he wasn’t that bad looking. Kind of cute actually. He made himself busy with a tray on a small table in the seating area; to hide the fact that he was uncomfortable.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I heard the sound of horns. I got up and peaked through the tent door. There was a large camp of soliders getting ready for battle. I scrambled over to the trunk closest to my cot hoping it was mine. I flung it open. I was in luck it was mine. I grinned slightly evilly at I rummaged through it. I didn’t want to miss all the fun.

I stepped out of the tent into early morning light I adjusted my full black armor. The only weapons I had found were a few daggers and two curved short swords. I also found a small case that had several vials of poison all labeled in nice neat handwriting. Pixy? I thought randomly. I had taken everything.
      <o:p> </o:p>
We were camped on a small hill. There was very little cover but there was a river on the ‘south’ so it was a least a semi-defensible spot. I walked toward the top of the hill where there seemedto be an open spot where people where gathering, dodging men as I went. The ground was muddy and I was annoyed that my pretty black boots were getting dirty.

I spotted Solar Flair; she was dressed in dark red skintight armor. I shook my head that was so her. She was doing crazy acrobatic flips and leaps; every once in a while shooting off flame at anyone that came too close to her self designated practice area. I jumped up and down in place clapping and squealing like a school girl. I hadn’t seen here in FOREVER. She stopped and I ran up and tackle/hugged her.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“I’m not doing it!” she glowered at me. I giggled and bounced still cleaning on to her. “Squeak” she said unenthusiastically.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Yay!” I squealed, squeezed her tighter, and let go. (This was something of a traditional greeting between us in high school that was forever ago I’m getting old.) “So………..” I rocked back on my heals suddenly feeling very young and goofy. “What’s going on?”
      <o:p> </o:p>
She shrugged “I dunno. Ask him.” She said pointing her thumb over her shoulder. There was a man in full armor on a large brown horse. I couldn’t see his face because of his helmet so I turned back to Solar Flare.
      <o:p> </o:p>
      “Who’s that?”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“I dunno, but this is his dream.”
      <o:p> </o:p>
      “This is a dream?”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“So he says…” she jabbed again and leaned closer to whisper. “Personally I have my doubts, but… I didn’t say anything!” she yelled the last part so he could hear. He turned to look at us she continued. “Just don’t let him win.” She walked quickly away mutter obscenities about the man.
      <o:p> </o:p>
He rode towards me. “Hale mistress, will you be joining this good party of warriors in the battle we have found upon us this fine ‘mornin’” He asked in a deep sexy voice (think Sean Connery) I shrugged I didn’t really know what to make of him.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Who art you, sir?” I said mocking his very fake old talk.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Ah!” He exclaimed. “Our newest guest!” he was off his mount in one fell swoop, he bowed to me removing his helm. He had dark curly hair that was pulled back with a bit of leather. How funny, I thought, just like a hero in a book. His eyes where a gray blue that somehow glowed slightly silver without being noticeable. “Allow me to induce myself,” I blushed as he kissed my hand. “I am War-Bringer!”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“War-Bringer? Is that like death?” I asked
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Similar,” He answered. “the difference is death take away life with a kiss, or so I hear. I take life and death with games. War games.”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Games? That doesn’t make any sense.”
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Join the festivities today and you will understand.” I didn’t like how he talked so cryptically.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“That doesn’t explain anything!” He just smiled.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Do you always think about everything before you do anything, My Lady? Have you no heart?” His hand brushed my cheek and I felt fire. “Do I need to teach you passion?” His thumb brushed across my bottom lip. I stepped back and shook my head trying to clear it.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Nnnno!” I finally stammered out, “I have plenty of passion. ThankYouVeryMuch.” I finished lamely.
      <o:p> </o:p>
“Then let’s go!” He replaced his helm and leaped on his horse. It fidgeted ready to go. He held his hand out to me. “The offer is only once my dear, shall we?”
      <o:p> </o:p>
Shall we what, I still didn’t know. I tentatively reached my hand out. I was unsure; all my eagerness to go had faded away. I somehow didn’t completely trust him. He was too smooth. I felt a pressure to take his hand. Like everything and everyone had stopped, and watched me, waiting to see what I would do. It made my skin crawl. I reached my fingers a little more barely bushing the tips against his hand. His hand grabbed mine firmly and was pulled up and onto the back of the horse.
      <o:p> </o:p>
We took off down the hill. Leaping over the people who where not fast enough to move out of the way. I grabbed onto his waist to say on. “You will see.” He called back to me with glee. “You will have so much fun!” somehow I doubted that he was telling the truth.
      <o:p> </o:p>
We reach the front of the battle lines. He slowed and went to a commander. They talked in low voices so I could not hear much of what they said. It was something about the upcoming war and that they could not loose or he would have to find more fighters for his army. Fighters that he could not afford to feed.
      <o:p> </o:p>
I was bored. I noticed one of the archers looking at me strangely. He looked like an elf. I dismounted and walked to him. He quickly looked away and tried to look busy. “Um?” I asked. “What’s going on?” He looked at me strangely
      <o:p> </o:p>
“You should know that mistress, you are a changer. You change to wolf? Am I right?” I gave a slight nod, did I? I could remember running in wolf fur but not changing from my human form. “I can get you out.” He looked around nervously. “You are not a fighter. Or at least you don’t want to be one. But you can not say anything or……” He put his hands on my head and the dream faded away.

I'm not much of a fighter. yes in the dream world I can fight, well enough, but I try not to fight if I can. I am more of a healer. Usually Warrior Tiger fights my battles, mostly because I cant stop her from doing that.
