Many many dreams and one hellish night mare.
      This was one ---> Here

I had a dream that I simply was jamming on my guitar. That was all the dream contained. But it was a blast. Nothing precomposed, just jamming solo.

      The nightmare.
I can't seem to put all these fragmented dreams together. But I actually feel sick to my stomach this morning. Something clairvoyant in nature seems present. I can't get my head around it this morning.

I was strapped to a bed. I don't know why.
What I do know is the most god awful feeling of despair. I wanted nothing more than to kill myself. I could not move and could not do so.
      Maybe that is hell.

I became aware I was in a dream at where I often do, my shop, or place of work.
I was extremely excited to experience lucidity. It has not been an easy thing to come by. Almost too excited, I felt my lucidity waining. I then focused on my hands, stabalizing the dream.
There is fence between the two lots.
After looking around the dream scape for a moment, I made my mind up to walk through the fence.
I told myslef I am going to sift ( don't know where I got that word from) through the fence. To my dismay I hit it head on. I gathered my thoughts and reasurred myself, I am in a dream. SIFT THROUGHT THE FENCE. < I did

The other side hosted my neigbors houses in an array of funky colors. Odd shapes sizes, they were all obscure.
There were parties going on in two of the three houses. When I decided to float over to the nearest house, my wife shifted in bed and woke me up.

      Thanks bro.
~ I too hope this helps to renew my dream recall.

I had this dream with a cool idea.- in the dream anyway.
I was making arrangements with the local community members to build an art gallery. The scheme was that I got Windsor and Newton (a popular brand of art supplies) involved. My idea was to build the building in the shape of a Windsor & Newton watercolor Block. - Advertisement for them and funding for me.
Well it all worked out in the dream. I am often surprised at how detailed some of my dreams get. Some times down to very finest of details.
Had I become lucid, I probably would have screwed it up.

That's actually really funny...dream logic at work, hehe..though in a strange way that idea might make a little bit of sense. Hehe..that would be some ad for the company...I do beleive they'd give you a nice bit of dream cash for that service.

      Sp -rv? -obe??

A very unexpected yet welcomed sleep paralysis experience.

I will have to elaborate later. (it's written down)

      Jack

Although I became lucid Jack was himself, illusive. Just as he was when he was alive.
I was getting flying lessons from him in my dream. When he began to tell me to go ahead and land the plane myself, I then realized it was a dream. Jack was so intellectual, intelligent, He was the deepest person I have known. Yet how much did I know? I wonder this so often His ideas and thought come up so so often in my own days.
I was lucid and was in an attempt to talk to Jack, ask him questions, personal questions. Every time I would get too close to any answer he would turn to dust. He still had control of my psyche in my own lucid dream as he did in life when he was alive.
Damn him for being the way he was and leaving me with all these questions. Damn the reason he had to leave.
      -
Ironic he was teaching me to fly in a literal sense before his death. He could have taught me to fly in other ways if he would have opened up.
Ironic that he had to die flying, in the literal sense.
Maybe none of it is really irony.

      Take cover!!

      Take cover or not?

It began with very heavy wind. It woke me up. Usually I'm up to date with the current weather forecasts. I was not aware of any system coming through. At least not one with winds this heavy. I remembered the days newspaper. "Strong storm front spawns tornadoes in Missouri." Some fatalities too. So I fell back asleep only to be awaken again by another wind gust. This one shook the house. I was in and out of sleep. Which was bad for today's work but good for a small stint of many dreams. None were lucid. They were weather related dreams to no surprise. In my last dream I was watching a news real about where to take cover in a home. I thought to myself -shit. I have never taken this into consideration with our new home. Why not? I should have.
Midway through the dream, another wind gust.
I jumped out of bed thinking there was a tornado. I was convinced for a short period until I got my wits about me.
Brooke said I jumped out of bed and circle the room, dazed and confused.

I think the after effects of my dreaming were the best part this time.

      tantalizing

Woman. I have fantasies. Many of them the same. A short lucid stint, but my phyche just will not allow it.

      I think I need some other's views.

      alrighty then

A rather odd dream. I awoke at 4:40 A.M. and I could not go back to sleep.

I was in my old room at another house I now rent. For a good portion of time it was my room growing up.
I was in the room and a girl from the bank that I go to entered the room. Wooo. OK. She is a cute little thing. I was excited < ya know The odd part is she acted as if we had been going out for a long time. Things progressed in a physical way. It was very nice. Afterwards she said, "well I am going to move in next Tuesday." (do you quote DCs? ) To my surprise because I really had the mind set that we just began going out, I guess?
I got out of bed and began to clean my shotgun. This was now important for some reason. To my confusion, she kept rambling on about moving in blah blah.
*The Weird twist. I looked up and now in the bed was a man. HE too acted like we have been a couple. Confusion. How did this come to be? He took off his shirt. He was a scrawny little weasel. I felt disgusted. Violated in a way. I felt like I was manipulated and also felt guilt for putting myself in that situation. I thought my homo phobic days were long gone thing of my youth. But I am now awake and have a pit in my stomach.
I wonder if I had become lucid what might have unfolded?

Feeling violated and homophobic + shirtless man in your bed + shotgun in hand = that guy being one unhappy camper if you had realized you were dreaming

Ha ha. That does sound like a bad combination. I usually don't resort to violence in my lucid dreams. Many of my regular dreams make up for it.

      Because I can!

      The Finer things in life.

I had a great Lucid last night. It has seemed to effect my mood of today.
I have relentlessly tried and tried over and over again to drill my subconscious interact intellectually with my DC and I have gotten a lot out of that approach. A lot!!
At least a year now I have gained very little from lucid dreaming (that I am consciously aware of)

Screw it. I let go because I can. Most lucid dreamers would think ...uh yaa dumb ass, that's what you do in lucid dreams. I just have tried to seek different boundaries and experiences while maintaining a certain moral standard.

      My vent - my lucid

I was standing on a basket ball court that I used to play on in high school. Finding it odd I did a reality check and whaalaaa -I'm lucid.

I yelled bring it on! two teams ran in from opposite sides of the court. It was my game. I can play them like a puppet, as Michael Jordan would say. Executing any move I have desired. What a thrill.
After the game I ran with my team mates, with a few stints trying to maintain my lucidity.
I was in an Ivy League Lunch meeting with all the Staff members. Steak - shrimp, I can't remember all. I remember it seeming like, spare no expense. I walked by a table of some upper class folk and grabbed the steak from off his plate. DC - "What the hell do you think your doing young man?"
I think I am doing what the fuck I want. I ate as I walked. Thinking lucidly, I decided to check out the Library. I have always had a fascination with old libraries. Libraries with some type of history to them. Oak, dark, almost intimidating?
In the door I saw a female I had worked with waaay back. At that time there was no sexual relationship. Though I wanted one. Though now I shall have. I beckoned her to come over to a door that looked like an elevator. Things were going to progress and they began to. As she acted a thought came to me thinking, I can't wait to tell Vex kitten and Moonbeam this!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHA!!! I felt my lucidity waining. I tried staring at my hands. No good! I woke up! I say

Funny but sad at the same time.
What ever. The rest of the dream was nice.

To why I had thought about moonbeam and vex --> Tantalizing

My dream is a fraud's nightmare.
I don't normally put too much emphasis on dream interpretations. How much can we really know?
My dream last night did seem to have some innuendos. As I began to examine the dream it was just confusing.

I was at my friends old house and it was vacated. (my friend was my partner and has moved to another state) I walked over to a gas station where I saw one of my better friends sprucing the place up. He began to tell me that he bought it and is delighted to go into his own business. I felt jealous of him. (1 he already owns a new restaurant and is doing good) -I am self employed. In the dream it seemed that HIS entrepreneurship would be almost fun, or a breeze compared to my own. (2 false probably, but what I wanted to believe?) Having questioned my own future, I wanted to be in his 9-5 job. As the dream went on, in the back was many of the people that I almost could say I hate. I could if I chose to. but why? The idea seemed to slip away. It seemed that his job would have as many hurdles as mine. When I went to confront John he was himself, happy and playing around with nun chucks.
But that is it. I think that IS it. HE would be himself in my position or anyone else's. (3 telling me that choosing my position on a position is a choice. )
Dream interp. So many branches it could go. Go wit the gut?
      I guess.

My second dream was very cool. I was in the dream and I was sitting on a hillside. I for some reason remember another dream. Like something in my dream sparked a memory from that of another dream. My recall of the "other" dream seemed very sharp. As I was recalling I was telling myself what was going to happen next.
In waking this was in fact a dream I did have. A long time ago. Years and years. Oddly enough I can't remember it again. I've waited too long to write the shit down. But it is hidden back there. Somewhere where a lot of things must be hidden.
Come on out and play. furry critter of a subconscious -elusive, unsustainable, difficult and confusing U

My new Hub for odd experiences
Time has limited me to write down my dreams here and in my night journal. So I have been making an effort to post my strange or profound experiences.

      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=52652

      An odd phase of SP.
I was dreaming of having SP. When I snapped out of SP I had SP.
So I must have been having a dream (possibly experiencing SP at the time) the dream ended, and I then remained in SP.
It's sounds very odd or confusing but I am actually surprised it does not happen more often.

A book deal, A DV member and bliss

I had submitted a book to a local review and writer's guild. Although my reviews were 4th place they were consistent with each judge. (This book in the dream was the same book I have been writing in real life but unlike the "real" one that is only 4 chapters , this one was finished)
Because this was my first attempt to get reviews like this everyone was very pleased. This dream seemed to last for hours.
I had offers to get the book published and through some advice I chose one.
The advice given was from pj. The pj we know here in DV. - Thanks pj! lol at the outcome though.

What would seem to have been a tragedy at first turned out to set up the best part of the dream. Because I wanted the rough edge look of paper on in the book they resorted to using a special kind of paper. What turned out was that the ink ran even in dampness. We were all (wife, friends and family) at a loss for words. Words that melted with moisture. Through much soul searching My wife and I decided to sue. The act of suing seemed disgusting. But the publisher's negligence may have cost me my one and only chance.

We decided to settle for a modest amount provided that they just reprint the book. Between that and the modest amount I made on the book gave Brooke and I enough to settle in a modest cabin somewhere in the middle of heaven. The cabin was not all that impressive but the land it was placed on was so far from diffident. The colors, smell, wildlife serenity and peace were all something hard to put into words. Beautiful in a dream but pensive this morning.

Ha! That's why I hesitate to give advice. Sounds like it all worked out in the end.

Amazing dream, and amazing recall. Very cool, Howie.

      Wow.. A non lucid trip

      04/09/08
Another amazing experience. Lucid and non lucid.
My next gaol upon lucidity was to conjure up a black and white dream. What came to be was far from black and white but it was amazing.

      Prior lucidity:
I was sitting with my friend Shawn (who remains a very good DS) We were in my old living room and were talking about the past. I asked Shawn what was the earliest memory he can remember. As we had talked back and forth we seemed to transcend into the past. I would think of an old blanket then he (or I ) would think of something earlier yet. Myself in form began to be as young as the memory. each time giving me a gateway to an earlier memory. It was incredible. So many thoughts I have long forgot about. Had I become lucid I would have probed deeper. As deep as I can. Who knows what the subconscious is harboring in there. I can assure it is a lot of old memories.
In the dream my earliest recollections of the past is an educated guess.
A small white Miami Dolphins helmet that I had gotten from somewhere. The details are a blur but taking variables into account, I guess I may have been around Four years old?

      Lucidity:
As the above thoughts were manifesting so to was a tornado outside. I snapped out of what seemed to be a trans like state and back into my aged form. There was a tingent yellow color to the air. It had a feel to it because it was so thick. Like the air was think with pollen. This sparked my curiosity and ultimately my lucidity. As I became lucid I became unafraid of the tornado outside. In fact I had decided to go fly into it. I flew out or through a window where the glass had already been broken. As I ascended up into the air I became elated that I was lucid, breaking a long dry spell. as I did so I became excited and awoke.
~ So much for experience. Either way it was great!
