      Exclamation No recall??

I started my LD practices about a week ago, when i first started, i had very vivid dreams the first 3 nights of practicing, i wasn't using any techniques. I go to bed usually before 12 and wake up usually around 9.

I've been practicing WILD, and CANWILD the past 3 nights, and these past 3 nights, i haven't even been able to recall any of my dreams.
stay completely still, focus on my breathing, then count back to 100, feel the urges to itch and move, let them pass...then my mind starts to get week and i slip into sleep... so my attempts at Wilding have not been going so well.

Anyone know what i should do about my dream recall? and maybe some tips for trying to Wild?
I haven't been able to write in my DJ in like forever)=

I have been having issues with my re-call as well. I've been practicing the MILD technique I tried auto-suggestion last night. I said I would remember my dreams when I woke up but nothing was there.

Like I know i've had a dream, but it just doesn't pop into my head, even laying in bed with my eyes closed and trying to focus after waking up... not having much luck lately/=

I started MILDing the other night and I was close to remembering my dream this morning so I think it may be improving. Try using auto-suggestion.

I just tried WILDing during a nap, and i felt the SP kick in, i don't wanna ruin how far i've gotten/= but MILDing sounds like a good technique, i'll try it once i get WILD down(= I was also using an App for my iphone called Sleep Induction, works well!

Hey guys, just keep it up! (Staying still in your bed trying to remember any detail, mantras to remember your dreams, etc.)

If you can't remember anything write down how your feeling and even a small detail you remember (A color, shape, etc.). Just keep this up everyday, and I promise your recall will eventually start to get better. Be confident you will remember you dreams!

I actually remembered a fraction of a dream last night! I'm making pretty good progress since I started using the MILD technique.

one trick is use that i learned from reading a lucid dreaming book is: To have an 'Anchor'

Whatever the first thing you wake up and see should be your anchor

I placed dreamcatcher where i first look when i wake up, right above my clock, its my anchor
Everynight before i goto bed i look at the dream catcher and tell myself i will remember my dreams 5 times (out loud helps)
When you wake up at the end of your dream cycle and see your Anchor it will remind you to remember your dream.
lay in bed dont move while you wake, just remember what you were dreaming, once you remember write it down
just started working on my recall about a week ago...again,(fell off for alittle while)But i remember 3+ dreams a night already

      it works great!
      Hope this helps someone out

What I do is just meditate after I wake up. Don't even move. Don't think. Meditate. Think about what happened. Try really hard, because it's in there. Just relax, let it come to you.

Heh, meditation immediately after waking up usually puts me back to sleep Glad it works for you though
