I think I found a dream sign. Help me decide.

Hey everyone. I know there are many topics scattered around with people asking about dream signs. Unfortunately I will be adding to this pile of topics. But I think it will help me out.

So I've been actually writing down my dreams for 3 days now. I normally have average dream recall and can remember portions. The 3 dreams I wrote down all have had the same thing in them, and all in different environments: My parents and sister. (at least one parent or my sister were in each dream, sometimes both parents).

Now why would this be a dream sign for me? Well, I live at college and have been for the past 8 months. My parents are miles away and I rarely see them anymore. Therefore, them appearing in my dream must mean I'm dreaming, since they are not visually a part of my daily life, right? Sure, I talk to them on the phone every now and then, but I do not actually see them.

My question: Could my family be a dream sign? Combined with an unfimiliar environment and them being in that unfamiliar environment, I feel that I could realize it's a dream.

Any and all responses are welcome and appreciated!

Yes they can but it could cause confusion if you ever move back in with them. If you start seeing them everyday then it would be difficult to use as a dream sign since you want to preform a RC each time you see one. This would mean you would be doing them all the time which, while not necessarily a bad thing, it can be annoying. Don't let this discourage you from using their presence as a dream sign though, people can make excellent dream signs; you just have to be careful if you continuously see the same things in waking life as well.

Anything could be a dream sign Looks like this is one of yours! Whenever you think of them or talk to them, do a reality check
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.
