      Wish for it before sleep.
Keep a journal ready by your bedside.
Imagine a dream before getting into sleep.
Write imaginary dreams in your DJ.

      Best of Luck!

Depends on your sleep schedule really.
Personally, I know that lately I've been going to bed later at night and I'm tired more throughout the day--sometimes all the way up to the time that I go to sleep. I've noticed though that when going to bed later means that I have to stress my recall early in the morning before going to work. I am going to start going to bed sooner, because I know that my progress builds greater during earlier hours.
...if you go to bed tired it's similar to going to bed intoxicated. You're mind is going to focus more on the quality of sleep as apposed to the content of the dream. Something to think about.

I'd say trying to go to bed earlier for a week or so and see if your recall progresses. One tip to build better recall abilities, try to recall bold events throughout the day. [Also... I remember this idea from a member of DV...] After watching a movie--try to recall the story from end to beginning.

I routinely go to bed past midnight, 1am. I have not notice any difference in my dream recall due to bed time. But then, I'm not stressed about it, because I can sleep in. Maybe you worry about something and that affects your recall? Happy dreams

I recognize what you are describing. Although I should mention that I am a student and to me going to bed late at night means that I am under stress. If I go to bed after 1AM I have problems with my dream recall, but whenever I do this it usually means that I will only sleep for about six hours (probably less) and am under pressure of deadlines etc.

If I read the information on the site correctly you can expect problems with dream recall under such circumstances.
