Ever have a night where out of the blue you can't remember any dreams?

Every once in a while I have one, rare night where I completely forget all my dreams, but then the next night it goes back to my ordinary recall. Does this happen to anybody else?
      Thanks.

Oh yeah. I wake up at night and I know I just had a dream, but all I remember from it is some kind of a feeling I can't identify and it fades in 2 seconds. This happens maybe once a week. More often, if I stop writing in DJ. I think it's normal.

Yeah, this is pretty common for a lot of people. There's just some nights where your recall turns to dust.

Thanks for the replies! Yeah it's odd, I think I haven't been focused a lot of my efforts on WILDing and as a result my recall has suffered a little bit, but oh well it'll come back in time.

Yea, but it typically depends on how focused I am on dreaming that day. If I was not really that focused, than it is not uncommon for me to forget what I had dreamed about. However, if I put in some effort to dreaming the day before the dream, I typically can recall the dream fairly well.

I notice that when I have a stable, healthy sleep pattern, then I dream (often multiple dreams) and can remember the dreams in the morning. (I also keep a dream journal, which helps.) When I stay up too late, say, past two in the morning, then I find myself either not dreaming or not remembering what I dreamed. A lot of times it is annoying because I may remember dreaming something but not be able to recall it. So I think the most important thing is to have a stable sleep and dream rhythm with good sleeping habits.
