The "Brag About Your Recall" Thread

I see a lot of threads here with people losing their recall ability or having droughts. One of the best ways I extend my recall is to know I can recall my dreams. In this thread, post how many consecutive nights you recall your dreams or how many dreams you recall last night, anything that brags about your recall ability. The excitement should carry on into your sleep, and it may inspire others.

I recalled 5 dreams despite having very little sleep last night!

I have been able to recall five dreams as well, more than once, too. For the month of January alone, with 46 dreams in 21 days, the average was 2.2. I started on January 10, 2013. Not impressive, I suppose, but I haven't included February and March. Last night I recalled 3 dreams.

I recall 6 dreams on average. In the last 3 months I have had 2 nights that I only had 2 dreams. Last night I had 6. Yesterday, 7. The day before, 4. Check out my DJing system. Since January I also haven't DJed, I used that form of DJ to get my recall high enough to stop DJing. My recall has gotten better since then.

Usually 1 to 5 excluding naps, 2 to 8 including naps. My sleeping time is kinda short(usually 5 hours) due to splitting for naps so it's more often 2-3 than 5. I can recall something almost always unless i screw up my waking up in some way.

5 last night, my record so far is 7. When my recall was at its peak I was getting 7 just about every night.

Great to hear everyone. Do you do anything special to trigger this recall level?

Last night, I had a very vivid dream that was long and detailed as well as others, but I only wrote down the one.

Recall is just as important as DILD, WILD, or whatever tech you use, so don't just DJ and expect recall to shoot up. It might, because DJ is a powerful recall tool. I would recommend trying a lot of recall techs and doing one for a month one the next month. Drop the lesser one. My DJ system gives you a way to way to see how well a recall technique or a LDing tech is working. Check it out.

10 days ago I had virtually zero recall, only recalling a dream once in a blue moon. I joined dreamviews 9 days ago, and for the last 8 nights I am recalling 1-3 dreams every night, and this morning I was disappointed because I only recalled one dream fragment, but what that shows is that my expectations have grown quickly, since compared to zero recall even a fragment is good.

Glad to hear, Joanna. Keep it up. I had a period where I was recalling 6 to 8 dreams a night.

To be honest, no. It just comes naturally. When I wake up, the first thing I do is lie in my bed and play back the dream, going backwards. If it's imprinted itself into my mind so as to affect me in a way, I won't even have to lie there.
