      Question Lucid dream feels fake...

      Hi there !
I made a few dreams in the last 2 days, and I was aware that I was dreaming.
So I was lucid because I knew that I was dreaming.
      But here's my question:

How can we control a lucid dream ?

I ask this question because in my dreams, I was aware that I was dreaming, but I couldn't control them.
So how do we control a lucid dream ?

      Thanks for your replies !

      Welcome to Dreamviews, Tagcc!

That's a fairly huge question you are asking, and one with a whole lot of answers... in fact, DV has an entire forum dedicated to it, here. If you haven't already, you might want to check it out.

As for me, I have no special tips or techniques for you, because I believe that, once you've got a solid grasp on self-awareness and memory in a dream, and you can understand that the place you are in is not a world out of your control, but just an extension of your imagination -- control is fairly easy. But I'm a bit of an outlier around here, so check out that forum!

I'm not sure what control has to do with your thread's title, though; did you leave something out? Just my two cents here, but dreams may seem fake because, by any real measure, they are fake, being nothing more than decidedly unreal projections of our imaginations; having that thought in your mind can help a lot with dream control, by the way.

      Good luck!
