      1st night- 4 dreams, 2nd- 0 dreams, 3rd- 1/2 dream

      Three nights ago I made my first attempt at dream recall... I remembered 4 dreams that I have written down... I went to bed at 2 a.m. that night... 2nd night I went to bed earlier thinking it might help... I repeated the same " I will wake up after every dream and remember" in my head until falling asleep... I woke up a few times but no dreams... And the same happened last night, except about two hours after waking up, somebody mentioned something that made me remember a very small part of 1 dream.... I feel that the more tired I am, the easier I can slip into a dream... Because when I'm really tired I lay down and start thinking... I fall asleep fast and usually, it seems as though I slip right into a dream... But when I go to sleep earlier... Nada....

      Funnily enough, that&#39;s the exact same amount I remembered in my first 3 days.
      Lord of the Rings quotes:

      "Behold, I am not Gandalf the Grey, whom you betrayed. I am Gandalf the White, who has returned from death. You have no colour now, and I cast you from the order and from the Council." - Gandalf to Saruman, The Two Towers

      "Men of Gondor and Rohan, my brothers&#33; I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of Men fails... when we forsake our friends, and break all bonds of fellowship... but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when all hope comes crashing down, but it is NOT this day&#33; This day, we fight&#33; For all that you hold dear, stand, Men of the West&#33; - Aragorn

      "Far off yet is his doom, and not by the hand of man will he fall." - Glorfindel

      "in Rivendell there live still some of his chief foes: the Elven-wise, lords of the Eldar from beyond the furthest seas. They do not fear the Ringwraiths, for those who have dwelt in the Blessed Realm live at once in both worlds, and against both the Seen and the Unseen they have great power." - Gandalf

      Ah that&#39;s weird...
      I usually don&#39;t remember my dreams when I am tired &#33;
      <div align="center">"Could we but mould our dreams at will,
      And keep them free from harm or ill,
      How pleasant it would be,
      To deem our waking hours but dreams,
      And that, our life which now but seems
      A baseless fantasy."

      Well if that&#39;s what works for you than that&#39;s what you should be doing, unless of course you really don&#39;t want to be tired every night.

      You also shouldn&#39;t be discouraged about bad recall in a short period of time. It&#39;s something that builds up gradually ...
