Possible Dream Signs

I have been keeping a dream journal for a little over a week now and I think I may have seen a couple of dream signs. One of them I am skeptical about, not because I doubt it could be a dream sign, but because it seems to me too ambiguous. It has to do with references to the the number three. Obvious signs are like, a dream where I see three mice or another where I see the numeral '3'. Some not so obvious signs are dreams in which I am one of three people singing parody lyrics to a song coming over a sports arena (a la MST3K), or in a quick dream I had where I saw three cups (of coffee I think). It's not like I have dreams of only seeing the numeral '3' or the word 'three', which is the only reference I haven't seen yet . I need to know, is it possible to do, 1. reality checks in the waking world with something that has so many broad possibilities, 2. reality checks in the dream world where the reference of three can be so vague.

It is possible, but not sure how effective it will be. Maybe, if you said 1, 2, 3 in your mind and do an RC. But not sure about that. I would recommend, untill you find a more reliable dream sign, to do reality checks at totally random times during day. That way, you just do an RC out of the blue and don't have to wait for a dream sign to show in your dream, or for you to recognize it.
