      Thanks.

They're all gone! And with their lives and limbs intact too. I managed to hide when they all started eating so that I didn't have to see it. Then when they wanted to attac-I mean-play with me, I said, "I can't. I have to eat."

Thanks to all for your support and hugs!

Tomorrow is "Black Friday" Which is generally the time when companys and stores start making profits(or are out of the red, and in the black) I am getting up at 4 to get to stores right before they open!
      Bollocks.

How come you don't go before they start making profit? Meaning prices are lower.

lol, you said the stores start making profit now. Then you said you're going to go to the store tomoro.
So why didn't you go before that?

Oh. There are sales all over america on the day after Thanksgiving. It's called black friday. Most stores have large sales to get more people in the store, and I go. It's crazy. Everyone fights over everything. And everyone is running and swearing to themselves... It makes me laugh...

      I got a new mp3 player!
      Bollocks.

I know I just read about it. He was a 34 year old temp employee at a Walmart. 2000 people were waiting to get in, broke through the doors and trampled him.

Kimberly Cribbs, who witnessed the stampede, said shoppers were acting like "savages.... When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling 'I've been on line since yesterday morning. They kept shopping."

They think he also had a heart attack (a heart attack at 34)!! Was being first in the store really worth killing someone?!?

A 28 year old pregnant woman was also hurt.. but luckily her baby is alright.
A hug for everyone to keep them safe this holiday season!

Wow. Thats really sad... But people really get freaked out about this. I got hit in the ankles with a cart. And I talked to a friend who works at Best Buy, there were people at the store 12 hours before it opened. There were 10 tents set up before 7pm the night before..

That is so freaken sad! All the Wal*Marts had the same exact sales throughout the country. My husband's brother is a director for his region, and told us that all of them had the same things on sale. They had a sale on a camera I wanted to get for my sister ($250 for $150, good deal, if you ask me). I was going to wake up early to be there at 5am, but when 4:30am came around, I said screw it, I'm not waking up, I'm tired. At around 8am I got up and took off to Wal*Mart. I got the camera, plus a lot of other good deals. I live right outside of Dallas in a smaller town, and it really wasn't that busy at all. I dreaded going there for fear of huge lines and rude people, but I was surprised. There were no lines at that time, and there was still plenty of everything that was on sale left.

I watched the news, last night. There were people at a Best Buy in Dallas camped out from the day before, lol, with there TV's and shit connected to a generator. I told my husband that I would rather save up to get something than to sit outside a damn store for more that 24 hours to save $100 on an item. You either have to have no life, or be desperate. Some lady said something like "I'll be saving money and those losers won't", I'm not exactly quoting her, but she said something similar. I think she's the loser for sitting outside the store for more than 24 hours to get a laptop that costs $350, when she could have saved up for it all year, JMO.

Ahhhh yes I heard that too and wanted make sure Delphinus was alright.
      Obviously you are haha
So yeah I figured out what you meant by they make profit, because there is so many people lol (I thought you meant the prices are up so they make profit. That's why I was like Why would you wanna go then? lol)
I remembered it from last year or a couple years ago when people got killed.

Stupid idiots. I wonder how much it would cost to put up a metal wall in front of it lol
What is the world coming to! A guy at 34 does not die of a heart attack. Obviously just got trampled to death. For a f'in pair of shoes.

50? Were those single or double-spaced? I need to write another 5K words tomorrow and Sunday to win. Man, I though I'd be ahead but I just haven't done anything the last couple days. Maybe I'll try to get 1K in tonight. Shouldn't be hard (except I'm running out of inspiration for this story). I'm glad to hear you're out of your writer's block!

And it's just BARBARIC what people were doing this morning! I got up at 6:10 because I forgot to turn my alarm clock off, and I figured that since I was awake I might as well get up and see if I could find some good deals. When I got to Wal*Mart the entire parking lot was packed and that was the first time I'd ever seen that. I got in when most people were in line at the checkstands, so by the time I finished up the registers were fairly empty, so that was great! I picked up 3 4GB flash drives and a few $2.00 movies I like but didn't feel like paying $5 for regularly. I did splurge, though, and get Hot Fuzz for $6. What can I say? I'm a big spender. Then a hand-mixer and 2 liter crock pot for $4 each completed the bargain.

Then I went to JC Penny and picked out a few nice shirts and a pair of black slacks I've been needing (my favorite pants are wearing out ). Then I went downstairs and spent more money. I was debating whether or not to buy a bedspread w/ pillowcases and some decorative pillows, but it was the style I was looking for and was very nice, so I picked that up for $89, and then *chokes a little* some matching 500 thread count sheets for $63. Good thing Oregon doesn't have sales tax... though we supplement it with income/property taxes. Oh joy.

Well, when I come back from Russia in 2010 or if I just end up moving away, at least I'll be able to cook a few things and sleep in a comfy bed.

Delphinus, I hope you can lock yourself and your belongings in your room for the next couple days. Please try to not let them stress you out, as that won't make you get any healthier. Drink plenty of water if you can and get some good sleep.

After I posted here before, we went to another town, and went to a Target. I got movies and seasons on dvd. I went in like 10 hours after they opened. The only reason I like going early is because I enjoy the chaos... Seriously, you see some funny shit in between tramplings. People laying on TV boxes, people leaping over carts, and you hear funny things to. I heard an old woman say "motherfuckers!" I almost died...

But then prices would rise even swifter over time. The stores would be in debt for another few weeks to a month, so they would only be making profit for a month or a month and a week. That extra two weeks is very important.

      for Tommo

and one for my hubby Del.

I'm a total hugger irl. I hate when people give you a half second hug that's more like a shoulder pat. Like Clarity said in the first post, "full body contact." I even get some hug-haters to hug me upon greeting. :]

As for Black Friday... I didn't even leave the house.

What a poor excuse for a thread.

what if Hitler was on this forum under the name: PrettyGal and you gave this avatar a hug? you don't know who you're hugging nor do you care.

This is just another pussy of an excuse to make a big shit of a thread.
