      Day 1: Wednesday, January 19

      Pre-Sleep
-No special preparation, fell asleep directly after the 1st MILD lesson, which was excellent and very informative. While falling asleep I retained a positive outlook towards lucid dreaming and dreaming in general, and managed to sleep almost immediately.

      In-Sleep
-I am standing in my grandparent's house. It is quiet, and very dark. I walk around slowly, not wanting to disturb anyone who might be there. Upon turning a corner, I see a man sitting there in a rocking chair, absolutely silent. I can't see his body very well in the dim light, but his eyes are large and milky coloured, almost luminescent. He has no pupils. I am scared, and run. Every room I enter has another milky eyed person waiting with lifeless expressions. Some of them are people I know; some are strangers. I am finally overcome by fear or luck, and the dream fades.

      Day 2: Thursday, January 20th

      Pre-Sleep
-No television at least 2 hours before I fell asleep, as per PercyLucid's request. I browsed the DreamViews forums for about an hour before deciding to go to bed, focusing my mind on Lucid Dreaming. I fell asleep almost immediately after going to bed, having taken a Melatonin supplement. My last thoughts were daydreams which I was intentionally incubating.

      In-Sleep
-Terrible recall today; I don't remember having awakenings in between dreams, as I usually do. I recall a single fragment of a teacher glancing over an essay which I had worked very hard on, and marking a large "3" in red ink, circling it with deliberation. Attempted a WBTB at 4:30 this morning, no success.

Yeah, it was quite a strange dream. I rarely have nightmares (possibly once every 3 months), so this seemed all the more significant. The biggest benefit was the quickstart upon awakening, the adrenalin got me out of bed better than any alarm

      Day 3: Friday, January 21th

      Pre-Sleep
-Football practice right before bed, leaving me physically exhausted. I didn't watch any television, though I was kept up by loud noises on the floor above me well into the night. Finally drifted off at around 2 am, feeling pretty annoyed.

      In-Sleep
-My dreams were very realistic last night, much more than is usual. However, I only remember a sequence of fragments. In the first, I am racing to retrieve a set of pendulum like objects, trying to unite the set of three. The second consisted of my friend walking around with a large ankle weight on his leg, struggling to move. In the third, I am playing football once more, and I foul another player in front of our goal. He is very upset, but does not get the penalty he wants. Finally, I have a FA. I am at my dresser, putting on a shirt for the day. Everything around me is completely realistic, including the texture of the fabric. However, I neglect to reality check, robbing me of a lucid. Upon waking up I am somewhat discouraged, but I think of the last lecture by PercyLucid and remain positive, knowing that MILDs are an exponential process.

Do not feel bad. That kills you. Life is busy sometimes.

I am myself trying to find time to work on Astral Projection and these days it is becoming impossible, but there is nothing one can do about it, so just keep positive and thinking as much as possible on LD and practice as much as you can when time allows it.

      Day 4: Saturday, January 22nd

      Pre-Sleep
Had a strenuous day at work programming some important piece of code. Got home late at around 10:00. I immediately went upstairs and worked on the computer for a while, browsing the DreamViews forums. While falling asleep I tried to focus my thoughts on dreams and lucidity.

      In-Sleep
-Actually remembered a full dream tonight! I find myself at high school, though it is not the school I attended. It is the first day of my senior year of high school, and I receive my classes. The first class of the day turns out to be PE, and it is stationed apart from the main campus on top of a large hill. I climb the hill, and see my PE teacher. She had a ridiculous name that I thought was tremendously funny at the time, but I cannot remember it now. She is a rather large lady with a face like a bulldog. Upon entering the classroom, I immediately spot a friend and sit down next to him. Apparently we were assigned homework which I was not informed about, so of course I begin frantically copying it off of him. However, I am not fast enough. The teacher comes around and I apologize, telling her I had no knowledge of the assignment. She laughs mockingly, and shows my work as an example in front of the class. I wake, and reality check. I look at the clock and see that it is 4:30, so I decide to perform short WBTB. I walk downstairs and consume some lucid foods, then jump back into bed. As I was wakened early, I only remember a fragment showing a loaf of bread. A person near to me laughs and says "You can do whatever you want to that piece of bread mate, but it will still be bread."

      Day 5: Sunday, January 23nd

Pre-Sleep Today was enjoyable, and I ended up falling asleep rather late into the night. After attending PercyLucid's lecture, I attempted to incubate the "concert dream" which is our assignment. The chest technique helped loads for visualization while falling asleep, and I managed to keep random thoughts from invading much more than I usually do. I eventually fell asleep; not sure if the incubation was my last thought or not though.

      In-Sleep
I had some pretty surrealistic dreams tonight, though I can not remember them in full. In the most vivid one, I observed DNA at the molecular level, watching it rotate, twisting and turning as it replicated itself seamlessly before my eyes. The other sequence of dreams involved misshapen worldly objects, though my recall of the events is very thin. Even though nothing special occurred, I'm still confident that I can complete PercyLucid's task

The chest technique does wonders, specially after a few weeks of practicing it seriously! Great job!
Keep incubating to increase your Daily residue and you will lucid dream that concert in no time.
