      Favourite Dream of the Week:
      A LUCID!!!

      Method: DILD
I was in our old house. My mum was talking to me as we walked down the stairs. I felt sure I was in reality but I did and RC check just in case. I pinched my nose and I could still breathe. I did it again just to double check. That's when I realised I was in a dream. I had always wanted to see what the finger through hand RC looked like in a dream so I did that and my finger went through my hand. I was not getting over excited and everything was really clear but I rubbed my hand just in case. I walked into the kitchen and spun around in circles a few times to see what it did - nothing really changed. Everything was so clear it was an exact replica of my old house. I was worried about how my dream recall would be and I didn't want to wake myself up.

My dad walked into his room and I laughed because he was wearing those one-piece baby pajamas. They were blue and had flying pigs on them. I remembered that my goal was to find my dreamguide. My mum called out, "She's always in the pantry," and my dad laughed. I walked over to the pantry and looked inside. It was exactly how a pantry should look. Then I closed the door and opened it again - but she was still not there. I gave up on that and decided to try flying. I put my arms in the air superman style and jumped. I shot up into the air and I suddenly wasn't in my house anymore. I then became conscious of my sleeping body and tried to stay in the dream but it didn't seem as real anymore.

I woke up and had to turn off my alarm clock (first time I've ever had one but my parents are making me). Wish I could have been lucid longer, but still really happy that I got my second lucid!!!

      Response to stabilisation tutorial:
My lucids (well - the two that I've had so far) have been pretty clear recently and I have tried anchoring although it hasn't really been necessary. My problem is that I do things but I don't seem to take enought time and things seem to move too fast and then I forget that I'm in a dream. I did however learn quite a few new techniques that I will put into practice if ever my dreams become unstable (which I'm sure they will sometimes). I am going to try to put into practice mindfulness because it sounds like a technique that would be beneficial for not only lucid dreaming but in reality as well.

      Favourite Dream of the Week:
I can't believe that I got ANOTHER lucid!!!
      Method: DILD
I was running down the street with Shelley, Vivian and Jessie. Jessie suddenly stopped and we ran to the other side of the shops before we stopped to wait for her. The next thing we saw was Jessie in a kangaroo suit, rounding the corner, laughing.
"Run!" I shouted and we ran.
Shelley and I stuffed our faces with popcorn as we ran. We reached a ship and ran onto it. As we rounded a corner Shelley, Vivian and I pinned ourselves to the wall. Jessie ran past us but suddenly stopped, turned around and ran past us again. She ocntineud running back and forth. I laughed because this was an obvious time to do an RC in case something like that ever happened in a dream. I plugged my nose and was surprised when I found that I could breathe through it. I tried again and could still breath then I
became lucid as I poked my finger through my hand. I rememberd how in my last lucid dream I had not taken enough time to think and had not remained focussed and had lost lucidity. I also remembered that one of my goals was to find my dream guide. I told myself that when I turned around there would be a door there and through the door there would be my dream guide.

I turned around and the door was there but when I opened it my dream guide wasn't there. I was quite disappointed. Then I felt my dream beginning to fade around me so I remembered the stabilization tutorial I had read and fell backwards focusing on a bell on the roof.

When I looked around again I wasn't sure where I was, until I decided that I was ina bell tower. Clarity was weak and the whole dream was wobbly and I felt myself beginnign to become more aware of my physical body. I tried falling backwards again but it no longer felt real. Suddenly a person emerged from the shadows and as my vision went dark all I could see were her eyes glowing golden.
I really need to work on staying lucid for longer though.

      Possible Dream Signs:
      - School
      - My friends
      - Violin (concerts, violin teacher etc.)

The problem with my dream signs is that they're things that I deal with every single day so they just carry through into my dreams - but I can't find anything else that seems to be recurring throughout my dreams.

I was reading through my dream journal again and found another dream that I really liked so I think that I'll make this my
Other Favourite Dream of the Week:
I was walking through our auditorium when I looked through one of the classroom windows and saw all these people dancing. They were doing some butterfly dance. I stood there for a while peering through the windows, I was jealous of them. I couldn't dance nearly half as well as they could. The teacher was our old art teacher. There were two otherpeople also gazing through the windows. Eventually I walked away.

Suddenly I was a few metres ahead of where I had last been. The sky was a different colour and I had the feeling that time had passed. I checked my watch and the date was the 2nd of February. I was sort of frightened. I pulled out my mobile phone and called my mum. "It happened again," I said. She told me just to go home and lie down. I wnet to my classroom to tell my teacbher but instead of my normal teacher it was my violin teacher. She was wearing a regal blue dress. I felt guilty because we had a concert coming up and I didn't want to disappoint her so I went inside.
I like that dream so much because it was influenced by a Doctor Who episode that I had just watched before I went to bed, where one of the characters was in a dream so time kept skipping and she thought that she had some memory problem XD

Just wanted to make a note that - after a few days of no recall at all I just had the best recall I've ever had! I remembered 8 of my dreams!!! Admittedly I do not remember all of the dreams (though this could be because I didn't write them down until 24 hours after I woke up!) but I'm still really happy with myself!
