      Hip Hop Veteran Heavy D is dead.



      Dwight Arrington Myers, also known as rapper Heavy D, died Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles coroner’s office. He was 44.

      For those who do not know who Heavy D was, he was one of the most influential rappers to MC when rap had a ton of really good artist unlike a lot of these corny hip hop artist you see today. He is a rap veteran he is the overweight lover and yes he was in the house. R.I.P. Heavy D...... ONE.

      I want to make jokes but it's still too soon. I had a porkchop joke in mind when I first saw this thread. :/

      The autopsy was completed earlier this morning but investigators declined to release the preliminary cause of death saying that toxicology tests must first be performed which is going to take about 6 weeks. However, there are several contributing factors, one being, that he had a 'touch' of pneumonia which may have been a result from him traveling considering he had just came back to the states the from England. He had a visit with the doctor on Monday (the day before death) because he wasn't feeling well and the doctor stated he had flu-like symptoms. Heavy D was on medication but the information with regards to the levels of his medication has not been released. He was also 344 lbs in which a heart attack is highly possible with that particular weight. I guess we will not know if it were a result of all of these factors or something else until the toxicology is completed.
