Hi there. Does anyone here make Let's Plays for video games? I was just wondering, and I thought maybe you could post the YouTube link to your channel and I could take a look at it.

I've been making Let's Plays recently, and I've been having some trouble getting views. A few people watch them, but they are really only close friends and a few other people. I was thinking I could post my channel link here, and you all can do the same thing, so we'll all get more views together!

I have a Youtube channel with mostly Metal Gear Solid content but I'm holding off getting viewers because I'm waiting for the HD collection (coming out on the 8th) then I'm going to delete pretty much all of my videos and upload the HD ones.

My advice to you is to make a lot of comments on other gaming videos, but don't come off as an asshole or no one will want to go to your channel. And don't do sub for subs because if your doing that then chances are none of your subscribers will be interested in your videos because they just wanted more subscribers themselves.

Gaming channels are a little harder to run because there are so many of them, including my channel. You should try doing something unique.

Btw, I'll sub you but only because I'm interested in your content. You can do the same back but only if you plan on actually watching my videos.

It's definitely fun, but it can be time consuming, like editing the videos and stuff. I'm taking a break from it right now, mainly because I have no clue what I want to do for a career after graduation and need to think it out.

But LPs are fun!

Got my first recorded, and found out that youtube requires you to have videos under 15 minutes unless verified the hard way. There goes 1.5 hours of time uploading.

Should upload it again soon. Doing Twilight princess as my first, under the name SesquipedalianAR (AR being my initials.) on youtube.

I had the same problem. I come from the southern areas of the US, where basically everyone has a very country accent

. That was a huge stumbling block for me, but I generally try not to speak with a thick accent, and on my LPs I try even harder.

I don't have a strong accent (from California), but my voice is kind of monotone, so I don't sound very interested when I talk about stuff. I'll have to work on it because I really have been considering doing a commentary or some kind of LP.

So I finally decided to start doing a LP for Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. I still have yet to really get any viewers, but I'm still having fun. Now you people on DreamViews will know what I sound like.
