You have probably heard people say stuff like, "There really is great music coming out these days. You just have to find it." Well, let's work together to make it where people can find it in this thread. Please don't post anything mainstream. This thread is meant for the hard to find stuff. Here's some excellent stuff I've discovered lately... |

"You Can't, You Won't And You Don't Stop"Lucid Goals: [Ask a DC: "Am I dreaming?"] [Ask a DC: "What are you?"]
Ok, this isn't exactly "new", as the band no longer exists (their frontman died in the early 90's), but being both obscure and awesome I thought you guys might like to hear about this. The band I'm referring to is Kingston wall, a 3-piece progressive/psychedelic rock group from Finland. Their music was built on a base of rock influences including most notably Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd, a sound which was bent with progressive elements and strong influences from middle-eastern music, which are evident in their first two album covers. Their third album, the last released before their singer/guitarist's death, entitled Tri-ogy, evolved the band's style and experimented with a broader range of sounds including synthesizers and atmosphere provided by didgeridoo. The work was written as a concept album, partly based around the Bock Saga. |

"Save" on the "Edit Post" option hasn't been working lately, so I am double posting. Sorry. This is some bizarre dance rap stuff from a Baton Rouge guy called Culotta Rock. |
