      First person movies

I am interested in movies shot in first person such as Cloverfield or Chronicle.

I don't know of any other movies or films like this, anything come to mind? If there is anything else.

I am a horror fanatic, so I will list you some of my favorite movies and my view on them.

Blair Witch Project: A classic film of students going to do a project on the mysterious Blair Witch in a forest for their own interest and research. Needless to say, things start to go very wrong. This film is an entirely suspense film, do not expect your cliche "jump out moments" or monster attack scenes. An all time favorite of mine This movie is not the first first-person film I believe, but it certainly seems to hold the crown as if anybody compares something to a first-person film, it is this one. A must see in my opinion if you love first person films.

The Last Broadcast: Same as Blaire Witch Project but it is about these kids looking for the New Jersey Devil (my state ) in the Pine Barrens. Things get weird and mysterious and they die. The film takes place of a guy and a girl who are looking at the footage trying to figure out what the hell happened to these kids.

The Frankenstein Theory: Similar to the Blaire Witch Project but with a man trying to prove Frankenstein's Monster is real (He is a descendent from Dr. Frankenstein). I thought it would be stupid (saw this two weeks ago) and I was incredibly impressed (and I am sort of a critic, not a fan of the new generation horror movies usually). Has it's attacks scenes but still remains them in a cryptid style and does not overdo them. Available on Netflix.

V/H/S 1 and V/H/S 2: Two Indy films produced with a particular style: Not just first person, but the movies are a series of "tapes" that these people find, each with their own independent 15 minute-ish story. So it is as if you are just reading a bunch of short horror stories but in a video format. Ranging from cliche zombies and aliens (the zombie one has a twist put on it though that I have never seen anyone do) to the rarer things such as minotaurs and succubus, these movies are great, because they utilize the demons and monsters that we love that movies in our generations don't use due to many people probably not knowing what they are or not knowing how to create a movie with that specific monster. Available on Netflix.

Paranormal Activity Series: There are a lot of these movies, and to be honest I feel only Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 were really worth a good watch (however, I am one of those people that do not skip out on any movies that are In a series I like). Paranormal Activity 3 was pretty good, PA 4 in my opinion was dull. The 5th movie, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, just came out in January, but I have not seen it. And apparently a 6th installment, "Paranormal Activity 5" is in the works for October 2014 (wikipedia lol). The first three of these "haunting-type/demonic related" films, although they do have some cliche moments, do a great job and filling you with suspense as they split the movie into "day" and "night" scenes. Sometimes things happen, sometimes they don't. If you know they are going to happen, it is hard to discern when they will. So if you are not jumping, you are wondering when they hell you will. Some available on Netflix, I know PA 2,3, and 4 are.

      Devil's Pass
: Wow what a film. There is something about this film that I love, and I think it is the fact that it is based on a true story and it is in a mysterious environment, the Ural Mountains. The film is about a research team of individuals who want to investigate the Dyatlov Pass incident, an incident in which 9 researchers went into the Ural Mountains in Russia and never came back, their bodies found in gruesome and unexplainable conditions (that is the true part of the film, but the whole basis of the film of this second crew is not). Again, needless to say, things go awry. Has some good twists and turns here, some which may people enjoy, others some may consider cliche. Anyways, this is also available on netflix. Enjoy!

And if you do not like horror, well than hopefully others will find this post enjoyable, and if not, than I typed all of that for nothing haha
