Has anyone here played Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening?

For Game Boy. I've had the game for years and I decided a couple weeks ago to play it again which I did. and at the end of it when you are waking the wind fish. The owl talks about how he is the Wind Fish's dream spirit (dream guide I guess) and the Wind Fish tells Link how they will both have memory of this dream when they awake (sharing dreams).

It made me think of lucid dreaming and now one of my goals with LDing is go on a quest with Link.

I wasn't sure what board this should've gone on so I just put in the lounge.
Wait!! .......Am I dreaming right now?

Yeah, I remember that one!! I totally loved that one!
That was one of my favorites back when I was about 11 years old, and my favorite level had to have been the Dream Shrine (where the Ocarina was). I always thought of it as Link's dream that he had, and then I would do impressions for him, say, "I am dreaming, so you cannot treat me like that!!" Hense, I would kind of make it appear Link was Lucid in it.
I remember, there was this store you could steal stuff from, and they'd call you thief after you did that, and when Malon was with you, she was really funny.

If anyone remembers Super Mario Bros 2....it was all part of Mario's dream, if you did not remember that one. It was so cool, and even when I was only 3, I would think about Mario, and how he would know he was only dreaming, and stuff. It was so cool. I think that the kind of dream he had was a FA, but I cannot be sure.

Also, Mario Party 5 seems to be about that stuff, but it is so easy, my niece made mincemeat out of it, so I show very little interest on it!

Yeah, Zelda: Link's Awakening was truly a classic. Although for some reason, I didn't even think about the dreaming-related aspects of the game until you mentioned it. My favorite thing to do was using the "warp bug" that allowed you to bypass a wall and move a screen over by displaying the map screen just as Link exited a screen (before the screen began scrolling). This was especially fun to do inside caves and dungeons, where the results could be highly amusing due to the techniques used in programming the game. Nintendo fixed the bug in later versions of the game, though.
