I play my own music, my own style, my own songs. I sound sort of like Pink Floyd.
Fresh Brains should love me now.

I have a hurdy-gurdy too and can play that, but don't have the patience to tune it.

Oh - recently learned to play washboard!

Guitar and a little bit of piano, but I haven't played the piano in years. I also make digital music with a couple of programs.

Didj, drums, recorder, vocals. Not much more serious than the occassional all night jam at the festivals, or singing in the bath...

Am intending to make a short indie movie - a supernatural thriller with an LD twist or two.
Half way through the first draft of the script - so its early days, but I have a good camera, some EXCELLENT locations (industrial construction hall at the Uni where I work, castle in France that a friend owns etc) and a little money to chuck at it.

So... can anyone here compose? Am looking for incidental music. The film is set in contemporary England during a hippy festival - so there's everything from folk music to acid trance. THe baddy (a succubus) likes waltzing, there's a bell in there too... I love the new music for Nosferatu, also the score for Alien of course!!!

No money, except perhaps expenses or a share of the... glory and profits when this becomes a blockbuster

PJ! Sounds good - can't get the last link though. Will send you a script when 've got a first draft. Usually of course the music would be composed after the things been shot. But I intend to try to involve all the players from as early as possible...

That would be a lot of fun. It's hard to write without timings and whatnot, but an intro piece could certainly be done without watching the scenes.

I've fixed that last link. Try it again.

I do a lot of folky stuff too.

I play 6 distortion pedals, a flanger, a wah, a reverb, a tremolo, 1 blender, 2 piezo mics, a cheese grater, a CB radio, 2 $1 mics and a mixer, all looped together.

I said 4+, not because I'm proficient with all of them, but I've played each for a significant amount of time.

Clarinet (principal instrument next to voice), Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxaphone, and Cello. I could also probably figure out the piano to a degree if I had one. Alas, I do not. And I haven't played the cello in a long time. I miss it

... Uh, sure?

I play the guitar. Not that well, and I'm not in a band or anything, but I play it.

ha! I'm willing to put a bet on it not being much different at all. Though, you're probably much better then me. Therefor playing more songs , so this could be a losing one.

i play as much death metal as possible. and.. thats about it.
although i listen to indie music a lot too. guitar is devoted to my death metal listening habits.

if you like the same music thatd be SO cool

well,I don't know if the music I play would be considerd death metal. I condsider it to be Industrial. Though, I don't think it would be far off either way.
