I think I saw a few talking about skateboarding....
Anyway I've been skating for 6 years, still having fun....
Post whatever you want here concerning skateboarding...It can even be dreams-related (I remember periods where I was dreaming only about skatebaording, nice dreams...)

Skateboarding was my thing when I was younger. that is all I did. I loved it.
I am female and took some beatings. Shin splints mostly.
Older now I have taken up snowboarding. This is great too.

I always usesed the "goofy stance" But it worked for me.

      I skate a bit

Been skating for a few years I guess, I'm not that great but it's fun.
I'm also goofy (in reply to above), but I ski instead of snowboard

I used to skateboard...about 10 years ago, haha. I lived right near a church and they had an awesome set of steps with a wheelchair access ramp. Good times.

But then I grew and lost all coordination. Such is life...

another ex skater here..skated everyday to and from school, as well as during for a few years.
gave it up after too many injuries, had to have a knee op, ankle + wrist injuries.
The trick is, you got to realise that you're dreaming in the first place.
You got to be able to recognize it.
You got to be able to ask yourself, " Hey, man, is this a dream?"

I've been skating for about six or seven years, but during that time, I can't ollie. Been trying, but I couldn't. (goes all sad) but I like going really fast on a skateboard. Nowdays I skate once or twice a month probably, but I stick to Tony Hawk games.
Feel free to chat to me. I'm on Skype nearly every day.
