Xox, no there aren't any spoilers for Breaking Dawn. Yet!
I wonder about the covers for the books. They don't seem to correlate with any part of the story... maybe it's just an artistic thing. Like the apple on the first one, for example. Meh?

Quiver - Edward does seem to be perfect, doesn't he? Besides the fact he wants to eat her up when he meets her. Haha. I mean, come on, that's pretty scary. And I personally think that it's nor a minor fact that she doesn't find him scary. For someone like Edward, who has a lot of self-loathe periods, (You'll notice this especially if you've read Midnight Sun) someone who's not scared of him is extremely odd, almost like a miracle.
Casting Choices - Eh, I'm okay with them. I really do like the trailers, Pattinson seems to be doing it well. I personally imagine Edward to look like Jeremy Dufour, this French model. Kind of like him anyways. I know this sounds cheesy, but I don't think any human can possibly be like Edward, coz he's a vamp. =P Pattinson doesn't replace the mental image I have of Edward, so doesn't Kristen Stewart for Bella. I do have high expectations though.

Cost of Breaking Dawn - I pre-ordered from Amazon and paid 16 bucks for hardcover, that is including shipping and handling.

Spoiler for New Moon and stuff - about jacob:
I agree, Mes. Jacob seems like a kid to me as well, immature. I don't know whether this has to do with the fact he's like, three years younger than Bella, or that he gets compared to Edward who is about 110...lol. I think he has anger issues, like all the other wolves. He's just not a gentleman, like Edward. It's the anger thing that bothers me, some of the stuff he's said to her. (If you've read Eclipse you'll know) Also the whole deal with Sam Uley (the wolf leader) and his girlfriend. See what he did to her out of a moment in anger? That's pretty bizarre.. he also needs to get over the whole wolf/vampire thing. You don't see the Cullens giving a damn about it.
The whole imprinting thing is very weird as well.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not all anti-Jacob. I'm actually forcing myself to like him. (Just in case he somehow ends up with Bella, so I don't end up killing someone. )
Cover Art - I think the first cover, Twilight's, is the only one Stephenie actually chose. They are Bella's hands, and she is holding the "forbidden fruit." Who is supposed to represent Edward of course.
As for the other cover arts, Steph didn't even choose them. She said the publishing company did. Which sucks, I have my own theories about them though. Except for new Moon, which I totally don't understand.
Aw I LOVE Pattinson for Edward. I didn't at first, but now I imagine his face whenever I read the books. I think he'll be AMAZING. And that French model you're talking about (also my avatar ) is really hot only at certain angles, I fear. Like, his face isn't nearly as chiseled or symmetrical as Edward's, or Robert's, is. Plus Robert can portray a certain essential charm through the screen.
I'm lukewarm on the other casting choices, but I'm sure I'll love them too once I see the movie.
Spoiler for Jacob:
Yeah I'm not anti-Jacob either... I actually started to really like him in New Moon, and was rooting for him and Bella to get together at least temporarily.

I like the casting choices for all the cullens except Rosalie. I think Kristen Stewart will make a good Bella. I think the best part is just going to be hearing some of the more memorable bits of dialogue from the book brought over to the movie.
The New Moon cover and Eclipse cover did seem much less meaningful and more like generically pleasing images.
Yeah, the way they describe Rosalie. She's supposed to basically be the most beautiful person on Earth. Meh, I haven't seen much of her in the trailers yet, so I guess I'll wait and see.
I do think Kristen makes a good Bella, because she does look "breakable" and is kind of plain-ish. (Which is how she's supposed to be) They were casting someone else, but apparently she was too "beautiful" haha.
I personally think Robert is doing a superb job, he is really acting well. Baah can't wait.
I read The Host, I liked it. Not as good as Twilight series of course, but still a good read.
these novels have put vampires everywhere to shame. they can walk in sunlight and dont drink blood? Give me a break. id rather cut my toenails than read this garbage. pure garbage. These books are the most influential novels since the Catcher in the Rye, truly a classic in the making.

...What book are you reading? The vampires in the Twilight series do drink blood. All of them do.
And, last time I checked, being able to walk in the sun without dying was more of a strength than a weakness. You don't think a sun-phobic vampire would enjoy being that much more immortal?

This coming from someone who claims other peoples' writing as his own...
I have enjoyed Stephanie Meyers' books. I usually don't like that type of genre, but her style of writing kept me going. As long as I don't over analyze her books, I can enjoy the stories.

wrong they correlate you just have to think a bit.the apple represents the forbidden fruit which bella's blood is to edward(she is giving herself to him).the falling rose represents love torn and replenished.the falling ribbon represents events becoming undone and things being revealed.i have yet to know what the chess pieces mean since i have yet to read the fourth book.

ray - They don't necessarily have to mean a certain thing. As I said, Steph doesn't know what they mean herself, except for Twilight. And that apple actually represents Edward. It's open to interpretation though, so you can consider it whatever you want.
I also think Kristen is beautiful. She looks fragile to me, which is very important.
