Woo. Running and jumping. This game is so original. There's a game from the mid 80s that did that. Merio? Maria? Darn, I cant remember now.

Joking aside, this game looks so dull.

Yes, there have been plenty of games made about pure parkour, mixing stealth with action. Get the fucking stick out of your ass. Maybe if you checked it out a little bit more, you'd see it's more than just "running and jumping".

I don't care if you like the game or not, but that's like saying.. "Call of Duty 4 is so lame, there was game called Castle of Wolvenstien that did that in the mid-80's."

Yeah, in the year 1992 between 1984 and 1986

But seriously, I'm looking at that trailer and all I see is a platform game, albeit one from a 1st person perspective (which is unusual but not new); why? well, first it is all running climbing and jumping, and second, look at the level design. The word "contrived" comes to mind. Boxes in convenient places. Pipes between buildings (wtf?). The world is no more believable than the Mushroom Kingdom, and looks approximately 5% as interesting.

Well, if everything was completely realistic, then a parkour game wouldn't be as exciting to play. It's more than a platforming game. That's why you should look at a few more things before getting such a radical view of it.

Pffft, it's like GTA meets prince of persia. That is quite a sexy combo. You seem to have mistaken the phrase WANT with YOU WANT. If you don't like it fine but... wth? Comparison to mario? Thats a bit of a streach.

This is the closes thing to what I would imagine to be a 3D mario game, with more fun and woahhness. This game looks so fun, seams like a good game for dreaming maybe. Except a lot of the scenarios look like they will get boring pretty fast unless it works (which I'm hoping for) with the lights and rythm and music working together maybe

I think the game looks awesome, I hate how games are limited, its really why I dislike first person shooters so much, it would be really awesome if they made first person shooters similer to the movements involved in this game, then they would be worth playing.

the music is very good from the trailers I saw, but the gameplay didn't have any music

I also heard that how you keep the pace and finish the levels is going to make you a score depending on how smoothly you completed it. It looks like balancing on high beams is going to have its own challenge with the toggling. The music though?! I need some hard hitting beats with this kind of fluidity

Yeah this looks like a sweet game, hopefully they'll pull it off properly. If not it could be unbearable, but if done properly this game will be crazy awesome.

This somehow reminds me of Kreedz Climbing for Counter-Strike and the source mod..

This game actually looks pretty cool. I'd love to see a free roam mode and a race mode. And maybe even hide and seek?

loads of fun. haha. All mirrors edge needs now is different terrain
