Everyone I've talked to said it was average at best. I saw it yesterday and thought it was incredible. Definitely Casino Royale standards. The best thing was they didn't try to copy the style they used in Casino Royale - it felt different, but just as good. Great stuff.

The action sequences were excellent, the acting was very good, but overall I'd give it a 7/10.

The plot was kind of weak and was not well executed and when it came to the end of the movie I just said, "Oh... okay...." They didn't go into much detail at all about who the "secret organization" was, but rather it felt they threw them in as an afterthought. I'm hoping that there will be some deleted scenes when the DVD comes out that explains a bit more.

Overall, it wasn't a bad movie and I would recommend seeing it in the theaters to get the full effect of the car chases, fight scenes, explosions, etc.

saw this, I'm sure it was good though....lol, I fell asleep many times during the movie, but only because we caught the latest showing and I was already tired to begin with (same thing when I saw The Dark Knight)....1st action scene was pretty badass, didn't expect it to end that way, haha

Seeing it tonight, I can't wait. I hope it's as good as the first one, because the first one just plain kicked ass.

Loved Casino Royale, but Quantum was a bit average. Still a good film, but Casino was much much better.

Having worked on a movie set before and been involved in the editing process, I found the shots to be very artificial and cut way too often. Some points of the film was changing shots once every 0.5 seconds or so. It was dizzying.

And that says something about how bad the post production was...crap. I hate these kind of movies. I partly blame the digital age, but primarily the people who made this movie (and I haven't even see it yet, but I am ready to make that kind of judgment if shots change...not every second! but every half a second!!! that is really bad, and not just for the mind)

I agree, Casino Royale was a lot better, but I still enjoyed this movie. It was good, it just lacked the certain atmosphere that Casino Royale had.
