I just finished reading Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge. That was an amazing book, and has made my lucids come easier.

Now I'm into Man and His Symbols by Carl G. Jung. It's a book written by a sort of mystic psychologist who dedicated his life towards interpreting symbols, especially dream symbols, and it's been a very amazing read so far as well.

Just finished Pride and Prejudice. Tightly written, especially the copious amounts of dialogue, funny, good characters and story. It's great.

I finally finished The Law of Nines, by Terry Goodkind. It was pretty much a decisive letdown, especially the ending. Left me with an overall feeling of "Meh." It really lacked punch, and, as usual with Terry Goodkind, the hero came out totally unscathed and unrealistic. I'm beginning to grow tired of that crap.

      Just finished A Clockwork Orange.

Disappointing. Nothing like the feeling of finishing a very mediocre book. I can't really complain because the author did warn you it's not very good in the introduction.

      Had bath, read Great Gatsby.

The 20s appeals itself to me more and more. I most enjoyed the Jewess running a Swastika decoration office in a time before Nazism made that weird.

I believe that's where I bailed on the series, and really I should have stopped at Speaker for the Dead. My favorite OSC novel is Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus.

Had bath, read Heinrich Straumann's American Literature in the Twentieth Century.

You can tell what he wrote in the twenties and what he revised in the sixties. Nice, conversational criticism.

Had bath, read Andre Gide's The Immoralist.

Started it long whiles back. But finished it now. Read it in parallel with Guillaume Apollinaire's Alcools.

I'm reading Going Bovine by Libba Bray. So far, I love it.

I put Dune to the side for now and I'm currently reading "Breathless" by Dean Koontz and "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen.
Both are REALLY good (but Austen is a bit harder for me to follow lol)

Recently read Brave New World and 1984 (for the second time).

Brave New World has great ideas but I really didn't think much to the plot or characterisation.

1984 on the other hand is fantastic both conceptually and in the writing, the characters and the story.

Planning on reading Godel Escher Bach soon, I think I may have matured enough now (originally I was too naive to digest that kind of thing and came unstuck pretty quick). Also I skimmed through Plato for the first time and I found it really grabbed me, I will have to read something along those lines soon.
