      good wii games

      Shooter, Racing, RPG.

I have Animal Crossing and Wii Sports, that's it. I am going to get Dead Rising possibly. Does anybody have recommendations? If you are going to post saying the Wii sucks, don't waste your time.

      Thanks for doing that Grod!

      I've heard SSBB is good.

PS. I edited your grammar for readability OP.

well, ive got about 30 wii games, and i have loved most of them at some point, but i always end up getting bored, which is why i have so many, i keep getting more.

it depends what you like, you might like it for having tons of people over playing it, or if you like playing it yourself.

if you like tons of people over:
wii fit, that is very fun, not so good on your own, well it is at first then it gets boring.
brain training, good if your family/friends like that kind of thing, can sometimes be alright on your own
family training, quite fun with lots of people, not so good at all on your own
wario ware smooth moves, good with a bunch of people at first, but people tend to get bored of it

      for on your own:
need for speed, doesnt matter which one, just so long as its not prostreet, that one is crap. i never got bored of NFS carbon at all, but i got new games so i started to stop playing it
call of duty world at war, very good game, especially online, but i dont play it much because ive also got it for xbox, and its better on xbox
guitar hero, ive got guitar hero III, which was the best game in the world, untill guitar hero world tour came out, but i dont have that, because i jsut never got round to it, and i heard that it costs to go online on that one, whereas it is free in guitar hero 3, and it is good fun online.
mario kart, good fun, but i got bored real quick because im rubbish at it, need for speed is much better

and there are more out there, but i cant think on it. and if someone tells you wii music looks good, personally i think it looks like the most dull, boring game on earth, so i recommend not to get it.

RPGs is easy. tales of symphonia dawn of a new world. THE best rpg currently. also you have to get super smash bros brawl. even if you are not in to fighting games, you will love it. I have another rpg called brosque that I have yet to play but it is suppose to be really hard.

Also ssbb is awsome! You can even make your own stages!!!

ditto on RE4, I had fun with it with the new control scheme, despite already beating it on PS2.

and Super Mario Galaxy was classic, very beautiful game.

do NOT get the Guilty Gear game on Wii that attempts to take advantage of the motion sensing aspect of the Wii-Mote & Nunchuck

Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4 are both very fun and use the remote very well for the FPS aspects of the games.

Mario Galaxy was very fun and a unique platformer

Super Paper Mario was very fun, but too short and too easy

SSBB is fun if you have people to play it with. I find the single player aspects to be fairly lame.

Wario Ware Smooth Moves, Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, Wii Fit, and Guitar Hero III are great in a group/party situation. When I got Wario Ware, I thought I'd rarely play it, but everyone loves it so much that it's probably one of my most played games.

Zelda: Twilight Princess and Okami are also very good in the action RPG genre.

I've only played the new Mario Kart a couple times. It's really fun, but if you are used to the controls for the previous games you might be a bit frustrated with it (I know I was).

I still call games like those paltformers. What do you call them?

EDIT: Looks like it's considered a platformer on Wikipedia too:
"Despite a much smaller presence in the overall gaming market, some platform games continue to be successful into the seventh generation of consoles. 2007 saw the release of Super Mario Galaxy and Ratchet & Clank Future to positive critical and fan reaction.[58][59][58]"

I don't have a Wii, but Metroid Prime, SSBB, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Bloom Box, Mario Galaxy are the top ones in Game Informer.

thats weird, ive always known platformers to be 2D side-scrolling games, since i got the PS1. plus, it makes more sense since 2D side-scrolling games are basically you walking along platforms. 3D games dont seem to fit the name.

I haven't tried Dawn of a New World, but I absolutely loved the original. I'm sure I'll be playing it soon.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Guitar Hero 3 or WT, Okami, Mario Kart Wii, and Zelda: TP. There's definately more, but I can't think of them.

I hear Carnival Games is fun, so I got it and realized it's only good for large groups.

Good Wii games? If you're a hardcore gamer then there are pretty much none, with the possible exception being Metroid.

I never thought Zelda TP was actually all that good. I enjoyed it at first, but the controllers never really gelled like in WW and it dragged itself out for so long. It had gotten to the point halfway through the game that I didn't know why I was collecting the things I was trying to collect.

For the love of God don't get Dead Rising on the Wii. It's garbage. I love my Xbox 360 version, but everything that is fun about the game is taken out of the Wii version. I know everyone is always saying that people rip on the game too much, but it's really true. Everything that is fun about Dead Rising is killing hordes of zombies. When there is 5 zombies on the screen... it's not fun.

      But, long story short.....

      Tales of Symphonia
      Super Smash Brothers Brawl
      Super Mario Galaxy
      House of the Dead Overkill
      Mario Kart
      Metroid Prime 3
      Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess
      Metal Slug Anthology

      etc etc etc
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.
